Hey guys, I'll be moving from sydney to hobart in about 5 weeks and will most probably be driving down and then catching the ferry. Just got a few questions before i do the trip. 1) How much does it cost to put my car on the ferry from vic? 2) After reading another post from 2004 it seems like there was no 98RON feul there. Is there any now? If not what do you guys do about getting petrol that the car will run good with? Thanks guys.

That doesn't sound like a stock R33 gtst. If it was stock, it would be in the 14's. The fact that you run over 7psi shows that it isn't stock aswellr.

Yeah my friend was saying the same thing. In his sisters pulser he could thrash the car as much as he wanted and wasn't really doing dangerous speeds but in my gtr if you at the limiter in 3rd your at about 170km/h(i think) which is a bit scary on the streets.

Usually for small things like that the premium won't go up or it will only go up a touch so you might as well mention it for peace of mind.

I no hoons that are in the army so i can tell you first hand that this won't work. They have also been overseas aswell and that didn't change them much at all.

How come alot of the cars there had tape over all their lights???? I've never been to a track day so i don't know if people have to do that here or not but it just looks a bit wierd.

Mines a daily driver. Could be better on fuel but i didn't get it thinking it was gonna be fuel economical. I've had to fix a few things like suspension bushed and my front rotors but nothing major. I also had to get a new clutch but that was only because when i got it i thought the standard clutch would handle a 7k launch easily. THEY DON'T. Whatever you get just make sure the engine is in very good condition. I haven't touched mine (apart from removing restricter) and i've never had anything go wrong with it. Thats when it becomes a money pit. When the motor starts braking.

Also maybe becuase they don't have P platers in commodores over there to do burnouts everywhere they go.

Man that chicks tall . It's funny how people criticise street racing and drifting on the streets over here, but as soon as it's in Japan it's awesome and fine to do and watch.

I watched two commodores racing the other night while i was on the hume highway. I was infront of them and they both raced from the 70 we were driving at. They sounded like 5l's. AS they were going passed me i noticed something funny. They were both really slow. They were accelerating but not at a very fast pace. lol. stupid p-platers. Why do they all think they have race cars. By the way. No i wasn't racing. I just happened to be near them. They didn't bother trying to gee me up. I guess they saw the GTR badge on the back.

I did the drive last year. Traffic wasn't bad on the way up, but leaving after new years was a bitch.

Doll bludging is the easiest job. I might make a career move for that.

I just had a job interview with the ABC on Tuesday. It was for a different position though. It was for a graduate electrical engineer for their graduate technologist position. I would love the job. It seems heaps interesting.

Yeah my standard guage used to do that but for some reason it's fixed itself and works all the time now. Maybe it's the hotter weather.

If the HID kit comes in h3 you can modify the h3c fitting to fit the h3 style. Thats what i did to save some money replacing normal globes. There should be a tutorial in the DIY section.
