Make sure the squeel plates have been fitted correctly to the backs of the pads. Some bendix pads have squeel pads fitted to them in the box so the mechanics assume they dont have to fit the plates on as well. They are wrong they must be fitted. Michael...

SOLD Hi , Im selling my GTR injectors. Set of six came out of an R32 GTR that was running fine. $300 I also have a Microtech LT8S with hand controller and loom with new injector plugs to suit an RB 20 DET. The map in the ecu was for a R32 with large turbo and 550 cc injectors. Also comes with air temp sensor. Asking $1000. I bought both of these items approx. 1 month ago from a guy off this forum. I sold my 180 RB20 yesterday so never got to fit them. I have now bought a R33 so i would look at trading these parts for after market suspension or springs, Front mount IC kit or 550 cc injectors to suit RB25. The higher the ratio the more rpm your car will do on the freeway to maintain a certain speed. eg. 4.1:1 5th gear 100kms hr 3000 rpm 3.8:1 5th gear 100klm hr 2800 rpm These are only examples not accurate measurments. The 4.1:1 will accelerate faster but use slightly more fuel. Cheers Michael...

My last car was a R33 GTST series 1. It made 254 kws at the wheels on 14 psi mods were. Power FC high flow injectors by APC GCG high flow turbo rated at 500 hp internal gate. GCG intercooler kit o44 fuel pump mesh removed from AFM 3 inch exhaust and dump pod filter. The car was tuned at APC. I had problems with the flapper valve in the turbo not being big enough. On cold evenings the car would boost to 17 psi even with the bleed valve disconnected. I removed the turbo and ported the waste gate hole slightly larger but this didnt make much diff. From what im told they dont make this size high flow now. Other wise it was a great turbo. Hope that helps. Thanx Michael...

OK. Any other ideas with t25 flange? im looking for between 220 and 240 rwkw with plenty of power around that 3000-3500 rpm. Previously i had a r33 that made 287 rwkw with a GCG internal waste gate turbo but couldnt run less than 17psi due to the flapper valve not being big enough. That eng made plenty of power down low and now going to rb20 is a bit laggy considering its only got a r33 turbo on it. Michael...

Hi peoples, ive been toying with the idea with a garret gt2876 with .7 front cover rated at 440 hp on a rb20 eng. I would make an adaptor plate to fit the standard rb20 manifold.The rb 20 is in a 180sx. Most rb20s ive seen with t3 flange turbos are very laggy. Has anyone done this and how did the car drive? Hi people im sure this has been covered before but couldnt find much when i did a search. Im looking at stroking an rb20 with r32 rb26 crank and rods but arent too sure of pistons to use. Will the stroke be increased to 2.4 with standard rb20 pistons? Also will the pistons touch the combustion chamber? I wanted to know these things before i bought the crank and rods and found out for myself. Thanx for any help. Michael..
