  1. ^^^ Were you in Gouger St around 4pm today??? Saw a black 33 drive past me with similar plates as your username.... If it was looked nice and clean.
  2. White V35 coupe (SKY-888) crossing over West Tce onto South this morning and a white Stag with S plates hooking down Grange Rd from Tapleys this arvo - sounded nice!
  3. Very nice silver R34 GTR with plates VSPEC-34 or something close heading south on Tapleys near Fulham shops, looked fat but not sure if I'm keen on the LED tail lights. Then a silver R33 GTR heading west on the Port River Expressway around 9, looked like it had a couple of bodies in the boot!! Ass was looking a little low Also this below - what's next??? Undercover B-double?
  4. Came back to the carpark in Gouger St last night and had this parked next me.... no not the Astra - that's the missus' car!! Cheeky bastard had P plates too - probably the same one as Chef Stag saw a week ago. Brings tears to my eyes!
  5. Black R33 GTS-T with P plates turning right on Panalatinga Rd off Reynell Rd this morining just after 9. Pretty sure it had a SAU sticker on the windscreen.
  6. Followed a black 34 GT-T today down Brighton Rd today - plates RBT-034, then 2 mins later a 2 tone silver R33 4 door heading south on Brighton. Then at around 3ish a silver Stag plates XNR-??? with gold Volks parked on Anzac Highway near Cross Rd.
  7. Will send my form off tomorrow.
  8. Saw a nice grey 4 door 32 with red bonnet pulling into KFC Glenelg today, I like the rims - they fill the guards well.
  9. No probs - PM sent.
  10. What about the PFC boost controller kit? Doesn't have rpm inputs but would be a neat install given you've already got the main PFC ECU. Plus you get a boost reading on the hand controller once installed.
  11. Mark, I've got 7 or so coil-packs lying around - not sure if they're all 100% good, I did replace them for a reason but you're welcome to borrow. As a side note - have you checked your vacuum/boost pipes that run to the wastegate cans? When I had my 32 GTR one of mine blocked up and caused the BOV(s) to flutter continuously under boost (and also caused over-boosting), wasn't exactly easy to diagnose though.
  12. Spotted a SIK 034 4 door pulled over by an undercover in a side street off Sturt Rd around 4.30p - bugger mate, hope it wasn't anything too bad. Then a black 32 GTR at the Beach Rd roundabout heading east, then 2 mins later a red Stag (plates XSL-???) that looked like it had just done a rally heading west on Beach Rd.
  13. ^^^^^ Spotted this on the expressway just before.... Craig's beast? Only one word to say - OMFG that car is mental!!
  14. Thanks Jonathon - just what I was after, and just confirms what I thought, a nice 'neat' map with no big jumps in timing anywhere.
  15. Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. The map normally moves diagonally down and right when you put your foot into so I would think that you wouldn't want huge jumps in ignition timing - the smoother the better. I'd really love to see a good map done by a reputable tuner (any sort of car) but from what I'm gathering people are a little cagey about their maps - and that's probably fair enough.
  16. Did the guy in the S2000 hit the wall because of the collision or because he was taking evasive action? Whatever happened that's a nasty hit - both of you walk away?
  17. Thanks for the info Paul - exactly what I was looking for! Was just interested to see how much advanced timing other people had got out of their car - not that I'm about to just crank it up to +12!! I'm getting very little knock at +4 but will drive it for a couple of days before turning it up some more. In regards to the maps, I notice mine jumps from 25 to 30 and 40 to 45 in several places - is it better to gradually jump up 5 degrees over a couple of cells or it doesn't make any difference? Oh and btw, I know many people have said it - but your faq really does kick ass!! Helped me out so much - cheers.
  18. I am no expert but 19 - 20 psi on a stock engine should be fine as long as your tune is good, i.e. not leaning out. From experience the 32's don't like being held over 7500rpm for too long, hece the semi redline at this figure. I would of thought a stocky should be good for around 25 psi with a safe tune and a good driver?
  19. Well I finally got my hands on a hand controller for my PFC. My car's always felt sluggish on light load / throttle, so as per Paul's PFC guide I upped the ignition timing by around 4 degrees up to about 8 x 8 on the map. The car definately feels more responsive and 'snappy' now but I'd like even more responsiveness but don't want to stuff around too much more with the map considering my inexperience and the possibility of damaging my engine. (I know I should get it properly tuned but a little low on $$$ at the moment!) So if anyone is willing to post up their map I'd be extremely grateful. (Or comment on my maps below). My mods are only cat-back exhaust, pod filters and running 1 bar on RB26DETT. Car makes 232awkw. Original map (not sure if it's default or not) Modified map
  20. Wasn't me - at that time I was at Main North Nissan drooling over the 2 R35's they have in there.... 1st time look - 500% more impressive than I thought they would be! Someone lend me $170K??? Edit: Yes that was me! Didn't notice the date - yesterday... doh!
  21. Last year I looked into the possibility of putting a 34 GTR MFD in my 260 but it ended up in the too hard basket. I've also been seriously considering upgrading to an R34 GTR but due to the current car sales decline and possible difficulty of selling my car have decided against that too. So the question is, would a R34 GTR dashboard fit (assuming I could find one!) and more to the point has anyone ever seen this done? I reckon a Stagea with an R34 GTR front end and dash would be awesome! Would hate to think of the cost though!
  22. Damn - drove through Stirling twice today, around 12 and 1.30pm - and on my way saw another silver stag with S plates on Longwood Rd, surely couldn't be the same one as Sunday morning on N.E. Rd....??
  23. Silver Stag with S plates this morning at around 3ish heading towards the city on North East Rd - almost the only 2 cars on the road!
  24. Pics Adam...? Just got mine back from the repairers (Extensive Restorations in Lonsdale) after having the bumper squashed up after a tail ender and you wouldn't even tell it had been damaged - damn good job. Not sure if 260 bars are different from others - haven't really paid that much attention!
