  1. Grey 32 GTR, black rims, no spoiler - plates XRR-xxx in Pirie St today. Looked nice and stealthy.
  2. Bayside Blue R34 GTR crossing over King Willy Rd - Grenfell to Currie around 9.30am.... bloody nice! And drove next to a tough looking red R34 GTT with gold Enkei's, CC plates and IMPUL on the back with no spoiler down Port Rd from Woodville to South Rd (around 1pm).
  3. I personally love the look of a spoilerless 32 GTR. Mine comes off and on every now and then for something different. Just makes them look so much fatter!
  4. PM please for location. Not sure if I'll come out but just incase - sounds like a little too many cars for my liking.
  5. Silver R32 GTR V-Spec II on South Rd between Grange and Port heading north about 1ish, Vic plates UZH-xxx - 1st V-Spec II I've ever seen in the flesh. Black R34 4 door heading east on Regency Rd near Arndale around 2ish, white on blue personalised plates - very clean.
  6. That's so harsh - I feel for you Andrew. And to be hit by your mate of all people (albeit not his fault). How did he hit the steering wheel though? After the whiplash off his head going back then hitting your car and it flinging forward? Whatever happened, wouldn't be nice - hope both of your backs are okay.
  7. Black 32 GTR with 34 GTR rims heading north on Tapleys around 7am. Plates XBH-xxx. Looked tough.
  8. Ah, I see!! All makes sense now. My mate did the same thing, sold his WRX then bought it back at auction then sold it 3 months later again to a friend... go figure! And with around 250awk's too.
  9. +1 But probably not a good person to ask - I know FA about stereos, and internal electrical workings.
  10. Jeez that's brutally honest!
  11. So he bought the car from you?? I'm confused! (But that's not too hard to do!!)
  12. Hey Heslo, have to ask - what's with the Chicken Parmy gif? Everytime I see it, it makes me hungry!
  13. No need for silence! But need for pics. Welcome!
  14. Was behind a nice clean silver 34 4 door (plates SGH-xxx) on Tapleys this morning, turned left onto Grange. Glad to see I'm not the only one up at ungodly hours!
  15. Joel, probably better off posting in the Forced Induction Performance section, you might get more replies there, and do a search - has probably been covered before.
  16. Saw a nice white 32 (GTR I think), pulled over on Anzac Highway near Cross Rd intersection around midnight with bonnet up and a distressed looking owner. Hopefully didn't collect a sticker.
  17. Actually sounds like my car. One of my many Woodville to city daily trips.
  18. I had the same problem when I first got my GTR, drove like an absolute pig. Went to Tilbrooks and came up with about 150rwkw's too. Ended up being a boost leak on the pipe leaving the intercooler. They simply tightened it up and it pulled 207kw's on a car which only has pods, 3 inch cat and exhaust, and running 15PSI with stock ECU and just for the record ran 12.4 in that state. About 3 years later lost nearly all power once on the freeway, thought a turbine wheel had dropped into the exhaust - ended up being a collapsed cat as per a few previous posts. Put a new exhaust system on and got 218kw's! Have you tried someone else ECU??
  19. As with all of the above it totally depends on what you want to do with the car. But if you're looking to put that power down in a straight line forget it - unless you've got some serious tread on the back. I drove my GTR for a week with the 4wd fuse pulled and under full power is a masive handful, the torque is out of control! And that's a in car they weighs quite a bit more than a GTS-T. Now I know there's sh!tloads of cars out there with umpteen power and only 2WD but IMO having the traction just makes it more useable - unless of course you just want to drift the thing.
  20. I know there's 20+ of these "car won't start thread" but not many have the fix so thought I'd add the fix for any that care! Well after leaving the car there overnight and not getting much sleep went back this morning. Checked the fuel pump - working good. Checked all plugs again - all good. Then after almost giving up checked all the fuses and found the one for the engine (I know - derrr!!) blown. Should've checked these 1st really but at 10pm at night in pitch black it's a little difficult to see. So anyway car is good...
  21. Thanks for the help Paul, but still don't have a hand controller as per a previous post regarding fuel/boost cut. Not having much luck with this car - and I'm not in the RAA (or RACV for other states) and doubt I'd get a tow where the car is. Thing is though - surely if it were a powerFC problem connecting up the R32 computer would fix it?
  22. I had my 260RS dynoed and checked over today including compression test. PowerFC maps were checked and "tidied" up. Everything was good - drove it home then did some shopping etc.... Then went to a town just outside Adelaide for dinner, when we jumped in the car to go home it cranked over but nothing. After checking nearly every connection and fuse I could then finally getting a lift home to grab my OEM computer out of the GTR and going back to connect that up to eliminate the powerFC, and removing the valley cover to check the wiring for the coil packs etc I came up with nothing. The fuel pump sounds like it's working, all lights on dash light up but no go. Any ideas? I'm really worried about my car sitting there all night.
  23. Very nice GTR. Welcome to the world of R's!! You'll never want anything else. (Love the pic of the 2 together)
  24. Spotted my first GTR in awhile just after 5pm on Tapley's Hill Rd. (Gold BBS style rims)
  25. I'm going up the river (near Swan Reach) to do some skiing, wakeboarding etc etc... I think the drive there's almost as good as the boat and skiing! GTR's love the open road.
