  1. for my 2cents , go for the manual. it will allow you to take advantage of the turbo's power and have another to reduce your speed quickly with a manual. If you add any kind of mods you will wish you had a manual and like every person, the only time it is a problem is when you are shut in traffic. Manul=184 @ the flywheel With these mods: Apexi powerFC, boost control, FMIC, Walbro FP, 3" exhaust, split dump pipe= +195RWKW
  2. Hey PPL I am about to get a hi-flowed turbo, Z32, Sard fuel reg, and have these mods now. TM manual boost control, Apexi Power FC, split dump, cat back with 3" tip, Pod, fmic, walbro fuel pump. My question is this I am considering getting exhaust cam for rb25 sii gtst but with 240 to 260 rwkw should I get injectors. That for the help Peace
  3. Hey Pete I am not to sure if you remember me but you sold me my Apexi power FC by Auburn. There are a few places to get hi flowed. First the tuner shops like UNIQUE AUTOSPORTS, CRD, HILLS MOTORSPORTS, and a few other shops. Here in Sydney you will find GCG and there is a Place in Wetherill PK and will do it for you. The one in Wetherill PK hi flows for a few shop out that way and I am unsure of there name but it begins with a P. Good luck and thanks for that Power FC.
  4. I usually flashing my lights and I will also throw up my PEACE sign too.
  5. HICAS (High Capacity Actively Controlled Suspension) Earlier HICAS versions used hydraulics to steer the rear wheels. The hydraulic system was powered by the power steering pump and used speed sensors to determine how much and which direction to steer the rear wheels. Later versions, called Super HICAS, moved to an electric actuator for the rear steering rack, making the system much lighter. The Super HICAS system also used its own computer to control the system instead of speed sensors. HICAS and Super HICAS rear wheel steering is limited to about 1 degree in either direction. I just like to know why ppl here are locking them and their benefits when they do. Thanks
  6. Can someone tell me what the benefits are if you lock your HICAS BAR? Thanks PPL.
  7. Hey Turk Make sure you get a larger rear housing by asking for a VG30 rear. This will allow for more power. And remember they always say, do a search. I have the same car and will get mines done next month So 250 or 260 RMKW is nice to have but don't forget the other goodies too; AFM, Bigger fuel pump, Fuel Reg and then you will be set.
  8. They are the same,Nismo and Tomei. Tomei rebadge they products. What Air flow mete is everyone using/ I know it's another topic, thanks.
  9. I do respect your right to make this statement: being from America we have no limits to freedom of Speech. If this is the case here in Australia I surprised. Now if you are talking about legal issues then that a how new ball game but that is not freedom of speeh. Their is no limits to freedom of speech!! certainly. and BD4s are allowed to call it libellous and try punish us in a court of law. and then I'll remind you there is limits to freedom of speech,
  10. Which octane booster brands are you guys using. I have a 96 GTS-T SII. Thanks
  11. I was getting a Starbucks this Sydney morning and came back enjoying my coffee and the car WONT start. I was told by a tuner my car was running LEAN about a month ago. Now the car Wont start and I had NRMA come out to see what they could do and this guy to a hammer and starting my fuel tank and the car stated. But it didn't last and the car die again. So NRMA came back and fit it again. Does anyone know if this is a fuel pump problem or a WHAT? Hey Guys I understand this has happen before and their may be many Threads too. So thanks for all your help Lines. ps: a few lines went pass me this morning, some with "P" plates, and Not one person would stop to help.

    Dyno Day

Where is this place at and when will the dyno day be. C&V Performance is in Caringbah, in the shire. Coming from Castle Hill. Thanks.
  13. Hey guys I'm in and can you tell me where you are meeting. Is this going to be in the daytime? I am rolling on nickels not dines , for those that don't understand that, my wheels are cheap and ugly.
  14. The last post I call these other company to find out what the turbo would cost. I wanted to purchase a HKS GT-RS turbo was told it will cost $3600 at best. So I call someone else and was told to call another guy and his price was $2500 for for a Garrett GT-2871R. And I would have to buy all the lines and gaskets too. So the truth is this the HKS GT-RS will cost $3600 and the Garrett will cost $2500. Thats for you help.
  15. I have used it many times in America RN. But most are not from Australia. And most are of guys drivng there cars. There are not many guys putting ther cars on youtube. Everytime we do something large it should be on youtube. In American they have run where you will find 500 to 1K cars from one manufacture. And we should do the same because Australia is the largest importer of skyline from Japan.
  16. People in the states are youtubing there dyno runs. Lets show the world our dyno runs.
  17. There are a few cars here in Australia that we Americans don't have, like the list indicated. But in American we have a few cool in the BMW 3series line. Cars under the OEM non turbo....Honda.....Acura TL....278HP 4 Door, Acura 4 Door 300HP; Nissan Infinite....GT35 ...298HP 2 doors, GT35 4 Doors 305HP; Toyota...Lexus..IS350...305HP. All of these cars can have a single or twin turbo or supercharges add to them. The price for these cars start $29K to under $40K. In America you can purchase a BMW 335i Twin turbo>> 300HP&300FT for only $48000 walk out the door price<<<. But I am so damn happy to be in OZ driving my 1996 GTS SII liner. My American car was an Acura 2004 TL with a supercharger, CB, drop on OZ 19" wheels.
  18. Paul where can I get a HKS GT-RS for $2500. I would apprecciate your help. Paul will I get water and oil lines for $2500? Or will I have to pay for them, as well? for $2500 you can get a hks gt-rs kit and then sell your old turbo for $500 (if it works) so $2000 changeover it should come as a complete kit too.
  19. Bob Thanks for the info. This is what I wanted to know if the VG30 and the GTT34 rear housing are the same or different. The VG30 and the R34 rear housings are the same size but both bigger than R33. Because I want to reach not 220, 230 or even 240 but 250 RWKW and a bit more. So getting the GTT34 HI-flowed will do this and the price is right too. My other question Bob was is there anothere turbo that is a direct bolt-on, that cost lets say $2500 dollars too and needing no additional items? If there is no turbo like this then the GTT34 is the answer?
  20. Hey Series2 Did you say you were able to get this turbo for $1600 or did I misunderstand you. I am looking into the GTRS. Justjap will have a few GT3076s soon and may look at them too.
  21. BOB....But I'll just add that for 250rwkw and a highflow turbo you are probably best to upgrade the cams. I am getting Cams. I do want the turbo to boost a little early. I have read so many turbo talking points and still have not made any progress.....LOL. I think the GTT34 Hi-flowed with a larger rear housing then a V30 or a R33 is the way to go too get a 250RWKW. I can choose a HKSGTRS and GCG or so may others but they all give the same about of RWKWs. Its not new but a clean direct bolt-on. This turbo is nice but few are getting 250RWKW without 16 to 18psi,...Garrett GT3076R version which we could offer a complete kit.
  22. what do you guys think of this turbo...Garrett GT3076R version which we could offer on a change over basis for $1650.00 complete kit. This would be a new unit, with steel turbine and ball bearing, so boost could push up to 25psi and this turbocharger would make 250rwkw on a R33? I would like my boost to be around 16 to maybe 17psi. thanks for all your help.
  23. Hey guys I have a stock GTS-T turbo and looking to upgrade my turbo. I am trying to determine if I ungrade my turbo should I get this Hi-flowed GTT34 turbo, or my own GTS-T turbo to be Hi-Flowed, or a brand new turbo. Remember guys I would like a minium 250RWKW. So my real question is this, if I purchased this R34-GTT Hi-Flowed will it get me 250RWKW? Are you comparing a high flow GTST turbo to a high flow GTT turbo or a stock GTST turbo to a high flow GTT turbo? but if its high flowed, and yours isn't, grab it... a high flow is always better then a stocker...
  24. Yea it's a Hi-Flow R34 GTT. Is this a better, bigger, faster turbo then the GTS-T. So this GTT will be a direct bolt on. With these MODS Turbosmart Duel Boost Control Apexi Power FC Twin Dump Pipe Full exhaust with 3" tip FMIC Walbro Fuel Pump Z32 AFM Sard Fuel Reg And the GTT hiflow turbo Does anyone have any ideal what kind of RWKW I will get with this setup?
