Does anyone have any HP numbers for each new model. That would be some good info to have B
-
The first VQ was a VQ20DE builded by Nissan in 1994 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_VQ_engine after you review the info you will find the earlier engines were the frame-work for the VQ35DE and so on..... But my question is this???????????????? Do you think MB will reduce the HP and put a small turbo in to produce something like 280HP or do you think MB will add more HP ...DO you think MB will be increase or decrease the future HP...of the VQ engines???
-
This is a signed agreement between Nissan<<<(Renault) and MB which allows them to trade technology..... This is a real agreement but JC didnt just spread this rumor....its also on G35 Driver forum........... Just is my two cents Regarding the Engine: The VQ is clearly a Nissan engine,,,,,,,
-
I want everyone to KNOW...this is happening.....and not something that will happen. Nissan has a five year plan so remove it G Series of car and in 2011 Nissan was scheduled to show-case the new models in Paris but they were pulled because of this new deal with MB.. The cars will be slower and the more expensive models will have a turbo..... Google it.....
-
Mercedes Benz has a new business partershipw with Nissan which will allow MB to make engines for the V35 or G35 in the states but with lower HP but MB will add a new turbo....like their AMG models. Nissan were support to release a new model this pass August in Paris but it was put on hold... I just like to see what you guys think B HERE IS A LINK TO A GOOD READ>>>>>>http://www.roadandtrack.com/future-cars/2013-infiniti-g-coupe

REDHILL I have purchased two skylines since I moved here from the states and both times I got them from www.northshoreprestige.com.au. If you contract Ben or Alex and tell them what you purchase requirements are I am sure you will be very happy with the outcome.

Nightcrawler I think and...and I have to say I have been wrong so many times before... But around the world...the Infniti and Lexus models are price very simpler. So if the 4 door Lexus is350 is about $85K then the 4 door G37 will be close to the number and maybe a bit lower as they are in the states. And as far as the price in the states we are not talking importing a car here we are talking price placement to compete in the marketplace I think the price range maybe between $60K to $90K from the 4 doors Gt250 to the Gt350 2 doors And remember there are a lot of G Series cars that are not very powerful and will not cost to much. Just my last 2 cents....LOL

I am not to sure what you guys have been drinking here In OZ. Being an American,,,I can tell the G series are Very Seccessful against the Bimmer..... If you do some research you will find the world love the many dfferent G models. I am not to sure which model will come here or when they will arrive<<<<< But the 330Hp G37 is just $38K $10K cheaper then the 300Hp Bimmer 335i which cost $48K, in the states, plus the cost of a 335i Bimmer will start at $108K all the way to $130K, and it slower!!!! Anyone who compares a G Series to a Benz has to idea of the market of the G. O....the Lexus is here>>>check out the Lexus IS350 Power 233kW @ 6400rpm,,Torque 378Nm @ 4800rpm 3.5L engine and the price starts from $64K to $81K and this is as close as it comes to the G series 4 door model..... If the G model prices are close to the Lexus prices then PEOPLE WILL buy them.....some people paying as much as $76K for the IS250 Model which is a JOKE!!!! JM2C
-
Question Do you think the value of the cars will increase Once the Infiniti Brand comes to Australia If the value will increase what do you think that percentage will be? Once the cars go on sale, the G35 may cost $80K, then our cars will hold more Value, plus Infiniti will want to get our car out the market. JM2C

If you like the GTR look of a flush tire fitted to the rim thats cool or you can go with the newer look of a deep dish rim. Select you wheels wisely!! and good luck B
-
Scotty<>>>>>> GTM Motorsports sales them.....and many in the states have used them too Its the 5 speed auto most of us have. There are a few valve body kits floating around for them but most good automatics places will have worked on them and made their own parts (for Nissan Patrol rock crawlers.)
-
Bevan>>> I had a cool GTST with 267@the wheels and the turbo is surly missed but I am so happy that I don't have the headaches of this little problem or that one or even lots of money flying out of my pockets. The G35 is a bing first car and a power secodn kind of a car. Do not get a G3>>>>try and get a 2009 AWD to boot>>330HP if you can and the 2010 you get the AWD 330HP but the all new IPL models with 350HP. Check out this tuner shop in Cali, GTM Motorsports and see the kind of power they can get out of these nissan engines>>>then get out of the V35 and the V37 mods If you do get a V35 and decided to mods lets us know and maybe we can put together a group buy for some gear!!!
