Id like to hear from all you guys that have dropped in an rb25 into the r32 just wanna know what happends with the vin number and all that stuff at vicroads do you need engineers to change it? my engine blew and i wanna drop in the 25 but im worried about the legal BS insurance i suppose will also be an issue? cheers

my car is off to the mechanic's on wednesday I think i did a good job cleaning all my oil off the track once it pissed out everywhere maybe i should ask for weekend work?

ok boys ive decided now that ima get the car back on the road asap Im taking bets on if i can get it ready for sandown (hopefully make some money to pay for it) With the help from everyone here i recon its achievable you watch me put down a crazy lap time when its back screw the driver training its just like a go kart only 200km/h faster

well yeah my car is screwed i wish i had a lap but anyway ringing the mechanic tomorrow probably start building rb25 then hopefully 300rwkw dont know about track days anymore seems like more trouble than its worth might still get warrenty and maybe fix rb20 but i doubt it so otherwise rb25 on the way if so i NEED HELP getting a good quailty engine dont wanna have this trouble again anyone selling rb25 ??? in good nick

i really wanted to see your car troy remember me the guy with the big turbo and no power? well the dyno at rank rotary was a bit out RE customs on the dyno day i pulled 238.8 @ 20psi a little better Rank rotary did a compression test and my bottom end is worn i need REBUILD rings are screwed anyway ill catch up wit ya another time if you cant make it

Yeah Rhett i thought to myself on the day when you told be bout the 10% ethanol thing that there's no way id run that in my car i had a magna that almost died on that stuff my afr were high too i showed my tuner and he said they were high but he said when he tuned my car he made sure the were spot on so maybe that dyno afr's are out??? he said he trusted his one cause he used a motec Top Of The Range Equipment???

hey im a bit worried about the speed limiter??? i just searched... is it only with the stock ECU ?? I have a wolf 3d ver 5 but havent tried to go over 180km on street to check if its on my car still? will it be removed if ive done the computer? i dont want it to kick in on track day

i dont know man i just looked at all the supp regs it says you have to have a belt in accordance with 2007 sport manual so i looked at that and it says you must have a restraint in accordance to table 1 section 6-18 and that says you can have a type c or d which is the normal belt but then it says under notes "seat belts as fitted to production cars as standard equipment and marked as complying with ADR 4/00 or 4/01 shall be deemed as complying with as2596" so i think that means you can just have the standard belts??? correct me if im wrong im not sure is there anyone that knows? who can we talk too that is sorta running the day? i think we all have to have: a blue triangle for the battery a fixed extinguisher a secondary tie down for the bonnet and it can be rope a db reading less than 75db on a drive by 30m away Is that all??? this is my understanding of it i read another bit im not too sure about on section 6-5 point number 2 "if fitted with any crankcase breather discharging to atomospher each breather be vented to a cacth tank of 2lt for 2000cc or 3lt for over 2000cc" does this mean an oil catch can? cause i dont have one do you think i could put on the stock bit of hose and just vent it back into engine for the day then take it off??

All this stuff is doing my head in. I was really looking forward to the track day im new to this stuff i was gonna do the driver training and just have a run. my car is in the moddified class type C So this means i need a 4 point restraint or somefin??? Do i need it even if im just doing the training? i put a fire extinguisher in already And now what you cant be over 75db or 90db Its a bloody race track whats the deal with the noise thing? And what about the bonnet restraint can it be a rope or tie down or does it have to be an approved restraint??? Is there someone i can call to work out exactly what i need for my car PI isnt exaclty next too my house so i dont wanna drive all that way and get knocked back If i do apply and pay for it all then still get knocked back do they refund the money??? I need to talk to some one that knows all the BS Other wise im not going...

Well i found out today that RANK ROTARY dyno is Actually Out i showed Pete @ rank the RE dyno sheet and he said: "well that confirms it i had so many cars reading lower than what they should My dyno is out of wack by a bit" So IM REAL HAPPY 238.8 rwkw and my engine needs a rebuild Thats Crazy power for the rb20. Once i rebuild should have way more MAYBE RB25 on the way!!!!!! Anyway i never got a key ring are they only for brand new members? i sighned up two months ago id love an SAU Key ring... Oh well Who's Going to the Phillip Island Track Day next Week Cause im in Fitted the Fire Extinguisher today Cant wait oh yeah thanks for the photo of my car 2 Even though its like MULTI couloured needs paint on all new parts blue grill purple bonnet grey bumper...

Well it was a good day. i didnt really meet too many of you guys but anyway im very happy with my run dyno at rank rotary i got 217rwkw dyno at RE after a slight touch up tune nothing major at all ???? WOOOO 238.8rwkw???? I dont get it? Why such a big difference Anyway Im still Happy What happened with that Raffle i couldnt stick around?

oh yeah i gotta look into it that sounds ok id like to be able to bolt up all my parts as well i think the 25 most stuff fit dont know about to 30 alot of searchin to do must look into the engine mount thing too i will do it properly make it right find out whats best

well should i rebuid try get it under warenty or transplant im not sure on all my figures but mechanic said 100 dont know if its one or more cylinders at least i know why im not making the power it should be

yeah i probably could do that i need to know whats involved with fitting an rb30 i think it needs engineer certificate? whateva i do i will probably do a little bit of engine work like forgies but im reaaly not sure on how hard/cost whats best i probably want 300rwkw but if i stay with the rb20 i want at least 250 260 rwkw im making 217rwkw now with screwed engine i dont know what to do dont wanna spend too much but if i do it i ant it done properly so i dont have to ever again i am keeping this car forever anyway
