  1. Im looking for a spare pop out for the dash surround in an r32 the dash board has three square blank button pop outs under the steering wheel i just need one of them. anyone got one laying around they can spare me???

  3. Does anyone know whats going on with Type M imports in dandenong? i used to get all my spare bits and pieces from them and now no one answer's the phone and its all locked up at the factory? out of business or something?

Im looking for a dash surround for the r32 gts-t its the part that goes undernearth the cluster in the dash board and also goes around the top of the dashboard though i only need the bottom half of it it must be from a manual transmission car as the auto has a slot in it for the gear selector Please email me if anyone comes accross one for me shouldnt be hard to get. i can get one but the wrecker i usually get parts from must be on holiday atm Im located in Narre Warren vic i can most likely pick it up if its not too far ill pay $30 for it cheers [email protected]
  7. ok i didnt know that. i think at the time the car just didnt feel right and he threw it on the dyno and thats what he told me the fuel reg went and it leaned out a little but he wasnt really worried about it cause the car seemed ok but its just now since the gasket went and leaked water into the cylinder by the time ive seen water temp go up damage is already done
  8. well it is bad luck if the fuel reg sh..t itself out of the blue how reliable should an engine like this be? answer is not very i suppose. just wanna prevent it happening again i should be able to track this car if everthing is right what do you think of a different head gasket? metal or copper? what running gear do cars need to run big boost? say 40 psi im only running 20psi nothing more but i am still having problems
  9. ok well that may explain it then what happened was my fuel reg went on me about 3 - 4 months after the build i i must admit i did drive it pretty hard for a bit once the car was all run in ect ect we put it up on the dyno and found it to be leaning out at the time we fixed it and hoped for the best i suppose this is the result and yes even the piston in only cylinder two is damaged im rebuilding again as we speak
  10. mmm ok i know there isnt any cracks in head or block cause we had it all checked at the last build i need a new cylynder head now anyway cause the head has some detonation on it too so it needs to be all machined again to fit is there any other causes??

I wanna Know what head gasket is the best to use on my rb20 running 20psi 240 - 260rwkw Ive blown two gaskets on my car since having it into cylinder 2 once when the car was fairly stock and now ive built my car ive blown gasket yet again what can i get to stop this happening? i think we used a genuine nissan one (supposedly pretty good for power im making But yet i prove everyone wrong) My luck just sucks......... What are the main causes of a head gasket Blowing??? Any help......... what can i use top of the range?

  13. yeah i know Curtis's car (the other r32 gtr) is easily more than double mine.. front damage would cost heaps on the gtr i know cause i changed my front end to the gtr look not long ago as for the 180 havent heard from him all i know is that we are all just car insurance customers so i suppose they are the real looser's in all this. ill keep you guys informed
  14. ok guys i dont know if you's all saw my car and what i thought was pretty minor damage after that smal accident we had on that cruise. well i just got a quote back from a guy at Mira Finish in dandenong and it is $1936.22. man im so glad i have insurance the other thing is that its not even for a new rear bumper? apparently they send it away to be fixed re moulded or something?? i would love to know how much damaged is on your car Curtis cause you copped the brunt of it all post up and let us know when yours is quoted k
  15. again thanks wayne i agree great cruise great day i didnt realise you lived in narre wayne so if you need a lift back next time for any reason you have another option cause im also in narre it was such a good turnout i think because of the whole Email thing i wouldnt have known about it if i didnt check my email's everyday put me down for the hanging rock cruise too Also who are the boys who got me in trouble with my mechanic Rob at sabbadin? lol aparently everyone was telling him that i was giving it hell??? i didnt even rev my car above 5000 cause it wasnt tuned completely yet i may have taken corner's fast but thats what sports cars are for right? but anyway there is some video footage im told so id like too see it Pm me with the clip dude i wanna see or even txt it via phone too me
  16. each to their oppinon My car wasnt plumbed back at the time we were racing i took it out before i had no catch can and just plubmed it back to pass scruiterneering otherwise i would have been going no where and sorry i wasnt having a dig at you for what happened k.... other stuff went wrong with my car anyway it just felt like for the day that it wasnt organised for driver training i understand now why and lets not get into that but do you guys know what i mean it was just rushed anyway i will come have a look on saturday if it doesnt rain but if it does have fun.
  17. ha ha no breaks is fun dont stress too much just dont go over 220km/h like i did on the back straight cause you usually need em down there at that speed i might just be a little biased against driver training because you usually get someone that isnt experienced at all i never got a professional driver or anything so i just reckon you can learn by yourself first also the guy that took me for driver training BLEW my engine the first time i went at P.I so i suppose that could be one reason why i wouldnt do it again if you wanna learn some stuff sit in with someone else that is good and you will pick up just as much i reckon if they had a pro it would be different and much more expensive
  18. can i just say that for all you begginer guys in stock cars be fricken carefull breaks dont work after one hard lap thats number one cause even the slow groups are pretty dam fast (the last "slow" group i was in was the SAU group and the other boys were doing like 1.30's 1.40's) i ran my car and its not standard at all around the 230kw mark apart from breaks and cheapo tyres and after a lap i was worried. but that was on a wet track so i was pretty much treating it like a drift day anyway i ran like 1.50's and higher and now i know that stock breaks ect dont suit a race track at all also driver training sucks they drive your car and try to teach you the "race lines" who doesnt know how to take a corner fast???? most of you wont like the training and you learn more just driving and watching others fly past you at 200km+ per hour down the back straight anyway just my 2 cents ill probably come and have a look but i wont be entering my car till ive done a few more tweaks and thats just so i can stay safe on that track

  20. yeah that really sucks man i went to the first one and it was gold......... car wasnt ready for the second one but now no more??? any other venue's it can be held? that first day was by far the best day ive ever had in my car hands down can we close some streets off somewhere? tokyo drift style (just kidding)
  21. 230kw its easy out of an rb20. with a small turbo like gt 2530 gt 2535 or a hi flow 25 turbo all suit quite well but in my oppinion id go something like a gt3071r or get a full TD 06 L2 kit from trust both have awsome power and response is only 500rpm later in the rev range than a baby turbo like the 2530 they will give you at least 250kw and if you ever run a race tune with the right fuel you will see upto 280rwkw mild tune at 250kw will chew any other rb20 with a 2530 or similar sized turbo. in the end as everyone else will tell ya how far do you wanna go with mods all costs money bud td06 kit is best bet and not so pricey
  22. if this motor blows im buying a stock V8 even though most guys on here will hate me for saying it as a stock car the power and low down torque is good im sick of head aches when you got your own house money is hard to come by just to keep the toy running i love turbo's but yeah shit does go wrong alot and often but i must admit i love the look on a comi drivers face when you fly past him partly sideways in a drag and before he has tried to race you he's thinking hahahaha its an r32 ill chomp him easy i wanna get a sticker on the back of my car saying. "YEAH AND ITS ONLY A 2 LITRE"
