ok i get axel tramp in my r32 with stock suspension and stock rims just like everyone else that ive looked up. in my findings alot of people try pinapples and coilovers and shocks then tyres and even pressure none of which completely solve this problem depending on type of trye and rim size my car being stock im looking into modyfing the suspension for traction and also to stop axel tramp my question is that i wanna know if anyone has got a setup that is pretty good in all area's with not so much $$$ spent so what i mean is: what springs? with what shocks? and tyres with pinapples or standard. and sway bars or not? id appreciate help i dont wanna spend money and then get no difference

just dropped my second hand rb25 box in today and the gears still feel notchie? would it still be notchie if it hasnt been adjusted in my new box???

you will have full boost 19psi by 5000 you will blow away any other rb20 with a 2530 or something of that size if your interested i will take you for a spin in my car now i have a similar turbo (long story) dyno graphs were almost identicle ill show you my car so you have an idea very similar too the td06 output of power on th rb20

Im selling a garret 3082r or otherwise also known as gt 3040 serial number 700177 - 5014 Ball Bearing its only done 7000kms on my car so it is pretty much brand new...... I have since bought another turbo charger for my car and found not much difference in lag so i pretty much should have kept this turbo anyway i really wasted money on my new one........ i made 260rwkw on my 2.0lt rb20 and detuned it too 240rwkw Boost was set only at 19psi its capable of over 300rwkw on a bigger engine easily all day everyday turbo is rated at 600hp front cover is Ar .70 and .63 rear for quicker spooling compressor is like a gt 3540 (600hp) in a gt30 cover it has a t3 flange and suited for an external wastegate I ran up a dyno for a rb20 with similar setup with a gt 28 rs turbo (which is much smaller on the same 2.0lt engine) and it only comes on power about 500 rpm before this one. we crossed the graphs and for the difference in power you would have to be stupid not to go for the big turbo the gt28 only made 190rwkw mine 240rwkw (detuned) and only came in boost 500rpms later But there is more to the story because i recently also found out that i was using a 12psi spring in my wastegate.... with a 17psi spring Boost Comes on earlier AGAIN so in conclusion i should have kept this turbo..... what a waste of cash but good news for the buyer This turbo will not dissappoint feel free to call me with any questions my mechanic will vouch for it also. i live in narre warren victoria call anthony on 0417 630 423

anyone know when the next dyno day might come up? hopefully before the next member renuwal next year. ill have my car at its peak by then for sure more boost and finally............. completely tuned even with a gear box that has all the gears in one piece too

I reckon dyno for sure bud dont stress bout your car i watched a few runs and im kinda glad my car wasnt put up there cause i would have been disappointed also my mechanic told me before today that there dyno was screwed it puts out weird readings apparently reason i say this is because i saw cars on there where the revs were going up and you can hear the power coming on hard from the turbo chargers coming on boost and yet the dyno power reading at this stage was getting lower???? ive never seen a dyno do that before. on more than one car i must add.

im going to make a few more phone calls on monday ive got a mate that can get me a gtr box or rb25 box second hand from an importer for $1100 i want to be able to shift fast and hard sometimes thats the whole point of my car and thats how i broke this one. i get excited sometimes so rb20 box is out of the question the gtr box is reconditioned with a conversion to fit up to the rb20 and he wants $1750 for just the box and he will fit it for $2550 complete

ive just been quoted $2550 from type M imports for a Gtr box totaly reconditioned and converted for the rb20 Supplied and fitted drive in drive out. with tail shaft done too Does that sound ok for price?

ok well anyone wanna swap a gear box for a 3081r garret turbo? its pretty much brand new only 7000kms mint condition anyway ill be down there at round 11:30 12

well i always though my gearbox was on the way out but i kinda sorta missed second gear and got a bit of a crunch out of it and then it kinda went: bang grind grind grind clunck crack.... not really in that order but yeah ive now got no second gear............. oops. i can hear the pieces rattling round in there but all other gears work ok Any suggestions? ive got the r32 gtst 2.0lt 260 rwkw is the 32 gtr box any good and does it fit up to the 2.0lt easily with out too much expense? also anyone ever done a six speed box from a 34 to a 32? i would love an extra gear while im at it. man im bleeding about this my credit card is already maxed out

rb25 box are supposed to be good but ive been told that the gtr box is way better and pretty much un breakable? any oppinions? need one asap anyway ill be there today still maybe chat to you blokes there and the mechanic running the show ay

k yeah i think i will just get a good set of treds for now dont wanna caugh up too much cash for rims id rather do my breaks first for the track

what power you making now? as too before? ive got one on mine but never checked for gains before and after i just went the whole hog when i blew the sh?t out of my engine 2 years back never really noticed results as the car was off the road for 18 months

ok i went to bob janes yesterday there's a young bloke in there that has an Ls1 making round the 400rwkw mark i spoke to him about my beast and he recommended me get the: bridgestone RE001 Called Adrenalins. he recons to do this before getting new rims obviously i have my stock rims still he said bang for buck is these for sure he swears by them for street and every now and then track just wanna know what you guys think? they are 225/50/16 for the back cost $235 each and for the front 205/50/16 cost $220 each

there isn't a thread somewhere that i could find best all round tyre? i suppose that would be personal preferance
