turbo that has just been taken off has done 7000km its a gt3082r / gt3040 anyone wanna buy it by the way asking 1500 atm serial 700177 - 5014 new turbo going on today/tomorrow is a 3071r/3076r unsure of exactly what it is only cause its custom built / modified for my car serial 700177 - 5018 Roy it just must be how hard the bigger turbo's are to launch im sure we can both drive fine... except when boost comes on hahahaha

yep i hear ya all i havent got the launch down pat yet thats why they are one up on me off the line hopefully with that lower down torque on my new turbo i might be able to launch more reasonably though i really liked the wheel spin right through second gear occasionally sounds bloody awsome with the screamer pipe

diff gears? i dont know much about em? i was thinkin keep turbo and wack it on a new V8 but gee where do you stop

done everything positive boost starts at like 3500 but it really doesnt pull at all until 5000 5500 then its like bang 7000 change second gear wheel spin hits 7000 change off boost but then comes on quick in third all the way to 7000 change by that time its too fast to keep going but anyway change into fourth and its off boost for a bit then back on again

roy is right with the shifting i find it the same but mine comes on at 5500rpm it frys tyres 1st and 2nd or does opposite and bogs just wanna know how a lower power turbo fairs

seems like i gotta learn how to launch in my rwd

the setup i have now lol im basically way behind and then wait wait wait oh oh sh......t here i come i catch em. thats like against an VX SS or a gen 3 gts

Just a question for all you guys running round the 210 220 230rwkw mark on the rb20 how do you guys compete with the new V8's are they beatable in a drag?? with this power? reason i ask is that i have around the 240rwkw mark but have a fairly big turbo and its lag city for me at the moment but i do chomp em once on boost.... (this is at a drag strip for all you young ones) i am downsizing my turbo and may only have round the 210 mark ( hard to say just yet ) Just wanna know how it will size up with less power i know my boost will come on around 1000rpm earlier but the initial torque of a V8 will still be in front of my 32 off the line Will i catch up still you reckon??? old V8's i know are no match but this is all i really care about with my car cause all my mates drive V8's

really??? exactly the same? the one you got quoted is probably stock off the shelf? if they modify the turbo in any way they become more pricey wheel sizes ect ect mine has a 3540 compressor in the gt30 cover

ok ive decided to pull out the turbo in 2 weeks to have the new one fitted so if anyone is interested in seeing this one on the car you need to let me know asap any offers weclome like i said price is negotiable i cant stress this much more the turbo is in perfect condition it will not dissappoint the new owner

I need a good auto electrician / aircon repair centre to take my car too i have a wiring problem and cant get my aircon to work does anyone know a good place that knows the r32's well someone tha can pick it up fairly quickly i dont wanna be spending heaps of money on one broken wire somewhere cheers

i hear you mat i was thinking the same thing but my big problem is locations of pressure switch/fuses/relays? are they all under the dash apart from the box under hood?
