    Gb#4 Hid Kits

So can I buy one for $99.95? I don't care if its illegal to install. It's just adding to a long list of modifications that seem to shit cops off. It sure beats having one headlight out because the socket is corroded. As long as it aimed correctly so your not blinding people, why should anyone care? I did my research and I still want one. R32 GT, Please PM me payment details when you get a chance.

    Gb#4 Hid Kits

I'm in for a 6500k set in H3 (R32 GTS-T) Can you change the bulbs on these? If you can, how much are replacements?
  3. If its fluttering your BOV isn't working too well... or if they just mean the woosh of the plumb back then see if you can find a stock air box to put on just for the pits.
  4. Same thing has been happening to me lately. First time it happened I was joking around with mates and gave it a decent hit and it came on. If you give it a soft hit you can see it faintly flash blue like its trying to light up... give it a decent belting and it lights up. For $200 HID's seem like a better option than headlight abuse
  5. He clearly needs neons and a huge drift wing I'd be doing injectors, ECU and fuel pump all at the same time and getting a final tune. You can't up the boost without more fuel, the standard ECU won't support larger injectors, and the fuel pump won't flow enough for the added power. Pretty big outlay but you'll finally get to crank the TD06 up to max.
  6. IIRC he said in his other thread he got to drive in an R32 and is hooked on skylines now mhahaha we win
  7. Sold to slide You got PM
  8. Selling a RB25 Series 1 turbo. Bearings are stuffed, it still spins but not well. Exhaust and turbine wheels are still intact and haven't scratched up the housings. Will post interstate at the buyers expense. Looking for $100 ono If anyone wants to swap for a good RB25/VG30 turbo + cash your way PM me an offer. Cheers -Matt EDIT: I have an offer of $100 inc post Turbo does not have the elbow but does have the waste gate actuator
  9. EDIT: Opening up multiple pages in firefox and forgetting what thread your in grinds my gears....
  10. Haysey, where are you getting all these pics from? Friggen awesome! Has anyone ever done up a R31 Skyline wagon? According to redbook they have the same kerb weight as an R32 GTS-T. A turbo on the RB30 would make it bloody quick in a straight line. You could probably drift it aswell Keep em coming
  11. Stock turbo is good to about 150-160rwkw on a good tune and good condition rb20. Most people replace the stock cooler with a FMIC or a R34 sidemount, I can't really comment on what power the stocker is good till, you'd probably get heat soak with stock power levels. You won't be able to do rev limiter launches with RWD but it does grip quite well. Its all about tyres really. Handling is great but really benefits from aftermarket suspension as the stock gear will be quite worn out. With 150rwkw I don't lose traction in first or second in the dry going in a straight line, thats with a blown rear shockies aswell.
  12. I've convinced my mate he needs a project car whilst he's saving for an XR6T (he's a ford person ). We're both interested in rebuilding/converting something and his old man has a fair bit of expertise. The general consensus was it must be a sleeper, must be reasonably quick and be on the cheap side. If it runs a flat 14 he should be happy (currently on par with my R32 ) but if it manages to go quicker its a bonus. He drives an LPG Falcon so fuel economy isn't a worry as it won't be daily driven. 4 doors is a bonus, but not a necessity. We both love the note of a V8 but it does detract from the sleeper value of the car. Turbo would also be nice. RWD is prefered The first idea was a VL. We found one with a recond gearbox and blown head gasket for cheap. The idea was to do a RB30DET conversion using a stock bottom end and keep it looking like a shit box. Only problems would be the drivetrain isn't up to the power so it might start getting expensive and his parents hate Commodores and are refusing to have it parked outside there house (which is fair enough) I suggested an aus spec R31 but he doesn't think it has the same sleeper value as a VL. I'm yet to pitch the idea of the FJ20 turbo Datsun ute (my favorite) or a supercharged 4A corolla. A torana may be an option but it's not really much of a sleeper with a V8 inside it. Budget is probably about 4-5 grand for the whole thing. Definately wouldn't be spending any of that on aesthetics Can anyone suggest any other cheap cars to do up? If anyone can come up with some mini car (moke or lada style ) that you can shoehorn some kind of ridiculous engine into I'd love to hear it. Cheers -Matt

  14. Fiberglass kit and make your own? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=144339
  15. Vote it out A more serious answer would be the screw on your AAC valve. It faces the driver side and sits on the end of the plenium. It takes a phillips head screw drivers IIRC
  16. what did he quote you Mr. Kleets? I'm looking to get mine done aswell in the new year
  17. I think me and tiesto need to give you an orientation... starting with the tav, then onto georges kebabs... then maybe a quick stop off at the nursing building
  18. Don't forget a light cutting. Claying brings out heaps of little scratches because you removing all the contaminants and crap that fill them up. (can't remember what there called.... looks like spider webbing on your paint) Canuba should cover them up a bit but cutting will give it that flawless shiny finish in the end
  19. I had a look above the pedal and there is a threaded rod coming out of the firewall which is attached to a bracket with a nut on the end which attaches to the pedal. The threaded rod rotates fairly freely, I tried getting some lock grips on there but it wouldn't hold it for me to rotate the bracket/nut. Does anyone know the proper way to adjust it? The friction point is sitting right on the floor and making it very hard to launch and change gears quickly.
  20. Congrats! Looks like your going to need a 4 door now
  21. Can someone that plays look up the charactor 'reactive'? It'd be good to know if he's still alive and kicking When I quit I gave the char to some american dude in my corp cause he sung a pussy cat dolls song on teamspeak (I still have the mp3 of it )
  22. Some reading for you - http://www.guysoflidar.com/radar-detector-...ector-test.html http://www.guysoflidar.com/radar-detector-.../testjan06.html http://www.guysoflidar.com/radar-detector-...ector-test.html Ka band performance is what you should be looking at for multanova's. Your probably looking at something fairly expensive if you want good results.
  23. I just thought they were trained/qualified cops... my bad I've never seen a tripod being used before in Perth. As far as I'm aware the max distance they can use lasers at is 400m and still have it hold up in court. Probably wouldn't need a tripod for that, but I haven't used a laser gun before so I can't really comment. Can you pm/post you business address? It only lists a PO box on your website Cheers
  24. I'm in the middle of pulling apart my blown stock turbo to figure out why its dead... and just cause I want to see whats inside. The shaft still turns but it has a fairly major bearing noise. Sofar I've removed the compressor wheel and the snap ring underneath. Theres a plate that I thought would be secured in by the snap ring but its somehow stuck... I can rotate it around the shaft but it won't unscrew. It won't pull out either, it seems like its sealed in there. Anyone got any ideas?
  25. Who sets them up then? Gnomes?
