uh i don't know too much about cars, but this post confuses me =P you're talking about replacing the engine right? which defeats the purpose of having a gtr engine in the first place? if you mean boost, the standard reply i give anyone is 14-15 pounds before the rings/valves etc start taking a beating. If you put any more through you're going to need to upgrade a few bits, not the whole engine

i could take that one of two ways, and i'm taking that as a threat last i heard, mt cotton drift school was shut down, and any form of drifting was banned due to noise complaints, i'm sure quite a few other people have heard this too you're being a little overzealous no?

now you mention mt. cotton as a defensive driving school, but "drifting" is banned there, and i don't see ANY of that changing on the horizon the cops and the council are shutting down most places where it was acceptable before i'm sorry but defensive driving courses that don't include regaining control of a car that isnt in control, are a waste of time, money, and intelligence any moron can put their foot on the centre pedal

this was my point exactly less and less places you can actually do a "defensive driving course" in your own car afaik there's one left and that's queensland raceway, but how do you expect to get skills up by practicing once in a blue moon when you can afford the stupid amounts of money

get one of those breathalyser immobilisers you have to blow under 0.05 or your car wont start edit: and btw the weight thing doesn't do shit for alcohol, it's the quality of your liver and how well it metabolises alcohol, and if anything else is distracting it at that current point in time (meds, drugs, certain foods/liquids) i'm on some funky prescription meds, and from those i can tell you that it all comes down to the liver =)

not exactly off topic, i was remarking it was such a shame my car's in the shop when it's raining =P i like practicing my defensive driving, so that if there's a situation during the day where i will need to avoid people (and the roads ARE crowded during the day) then i'll be one less factor in something possibly messy i try not to annoy the coppers too much by making stupid amounts of noise, just some quiet slidey back roads where there isn't any residents to annoy, and no traffic to endanger that's my story and i'm sticking to it
