  3. agreed i run a td06 and my little rb20 hammers also great build thread car looks great not to overdone and very straight.
  4. cheers how much to get the guards rolled, what size tyre were you running on the front, currently i have 215/45/r17 on front and 235/45/r17 on rear, rear bar is the only thing really keeping it legal otherwise they would be sticking out a bit.
  5. cheers that clears up a few things for me.
  6. maybe ask the company and see if they have a form for that or something then?
  7. its a hard one, but if it was me i would try to avoid buying a car that has finance on it full stop. that being said i think that getting two checks will insure that he has agreed to commit to paying off the loan. also if u feel like you are putting the owner in a postion that either makes him uncomfortable or you uncomfortable, just write a letter of intent stating that you have bought the car with the agreement that the owner is using part of the money to pay off the remainder of the loan and that you are not liable for any further payments later down the track. sign and date it with yours and his signatures and keep a copy for yourself. good luck
  8. i bought mine from just jap in nsw, they were in very good condition maybe send them an email website is www.justjap.com
  9. i went through this in nsw this time last year, my car had full exhaust (no cat) bigger rims an extensive modifications in the engine bay, i took it to a place to get a blue slip, luckily i had a engineers cert to go with it, although it only covered basic things and exhaust and rims nothing in engine bay. i am not sure how it works over there but it is only randomly chosen and not very often mind you that you you need a full inspection, i got cleared with a blue slip and then organised all my rego only prob i had was stupid woman at rta put the vin chassis no wrong and sped 3 days trying to find matching codes for import papers, wasnt impressed. so as long as you make the effort to try and make it look streetable/sound streetable with everything where it is suppose to be you should be ok, but as i said done in nsw not sure if it is compulsary for you in wa
  10. ok so whats the offset of an r34 gtr wheel? or the r33gtr?
  11. i have looked through the wheel offset guide and havent found much info on the r32 gts-t in terms of 18 inch wheels, does anyone run 18s without modifications if so what is the offsets and any pics? i have 17s on at the moment i like them just thinking a set of 18 would fill out the look a bit more but i dont want to modify the guards, i have rang a few places and asked and been given different opinions i dont want to buy a set that wont fit. any help is appreciated

  19. hey guys up for something new in the wheels department, possibly double as a track rim too. looking to spend under $1500 so unfortunately volk gtc and te37 guys yes i would love a set but wouldnt be able to afford them. let me know what you have cheers yt
  20. even if u just get a engineers cert for your wheels or exhaust or something not to out of the ordinary, if u get it lodged with your car at registration it is a massive enough detterant, many times i have had a cop car come up and sit on my backside for a short time like less then a minute, log my details into the computer they have on board and it comes up with my car has an engineers cert attached and then they just drive off even undercovers, since i had the car and engineers cert i havent been pulled over for random breath tests or any lame excuse like that before, just food for thought best investment i ever got
  21. not to hijack thread but how much $$ we talking bout for a set in the black LMGT4s 18s???
  22. In a word Awsome!!!!! keep the pics coming
  23. depends on what the copper really thinks, although i had a mate with a 32 and he had 2 gaugues up the pillar and got defected, and another mate had the same setup on a s15 and it was overlooked. i believe to be 100 percent legal the gauge needs to sit under the height of the top of your steering wheel.
  24. location i am pretty keen
