    Sorry to stir you guys up. Its a Datsun 1200 Coupe with a 13b turbo, its just a stir between a few of my friends about it being an early model GTR. But the times are for real.

    R33 V Spec GTR Its just got a HKS exhaust and some extra boost 60 foot 1.78 ET 12.20 MP/H 112.85 Tyres 275/30/19 Falken ZE325s Done at Eastern Creek. I also have an "early model GTR:)" Its a 2.6l runs a big single turbo and has run 8.4 @ 164mp/h with a 1.22 60 footer, but that was on slicks.

    You can expect awesome traction, and very good air quality.

    I will be there racing, hopeing to run a 7, but in reality will probably run around the 8.2 mark.

    I own an LS-1 powered SS and a GTR so i have a fair idea about them both. I like both cars and each has its strong points, but to suggest a HSV GTS will beat a GTR is insanity at its best.

    I dont care if your mod parts come from Uranus, on the street a GTS will never beat a GTR due to traction alone! If anybody cares to prove this theory wrong, lets go!

    Awesome effort, well done to the both of you. If it was possible i would lend you one of my 60 footers, 1.24 on average, that would get the E.Ts down a bit!

    Not all Commodore drivers are dickheads! If im in the SS and see a Skyline i will always try and have some fun with it. But i much prefer beating up HSVs in the GTR! V8 Supercars....food for champions.

    I cant wait until it opens, finally a decent track being run by people who actually know what they are doing! Bring it on!

    For an all round tyre you could use Yokohama A032s. A mates car runs 11.7 on them and they are very good on the circiut. The IPRA cars run them as a control type tyre, but 17,s are the biggest you can get. For all out Drag use, forget Nitto,s, just get some 15 inch wheels and run M&Hs or Macreary,s. They are a much cheaper alternative.
