  1. Geez,,,chill out bitches. Ash will post up his shit when it's all sorted. Love Neil.
  2. So onto the next diet job. I was sort of hoping the I could cut this bump out and sit my battery down but I should know better. I knew something would be under there but was hoping I could cut the lump out flush and have the battery looking like this. But not to be,,,Nissan had decided that a breather should be in the way,,, So back to plan "B" a 120 bucks and a up-right hold down bracket. Cheers Neil.
  3. Further to my weight reduction game,,,Fatz gave me this Stagea pedal as mine was slightly burnt during the cage installation. It might be only about 300grams but it cost nothing. I've finished making version 2 of my air box. This time I've used some off cuts front my front splitter material and done away with the heat/sound insulation. I forgot to take a weight pic of the side half but it's the same weight as the top,,, So 1.2KG removed. Cheers Neil.
  4. Gee thanks you two mutherfuuckers,,,ones calling me a poof and the other wants to pelt me with 1/2 cut lemons. Actually Jase I'm off the VB's,,,still not on the fancy catspiss like Fatz drinks,,, just good old Carlton Draught. Cheers Neil.
  5. Sound's like a great plan Mate,,,as always I love the catch-ups. Cheers Neil.
  6. Well Matty, after Tamworth is Ringwood 8th/9th of August,,, which is by far the most crappyest climb on the calendar. It's on par with Collingrove in S.A.!!!. Then Huntley on the 13th of September,,,then King Edward Park on the 4th of October. The Aussie nats are on the 6th/7th and 8th of November in W.A. What about you and Sarah drive all my shit over there and I'll fly over and meet up at the airport. Sounds awesome to me. Cheers Neil.
  7. So as usual I'm back into weight saving mode. This excellently crafted thing by Nissan has to go. It weighs in at 2.7 kilos. To do it I have bought this, but I think It may not fit properly in hindsight. So I may have to buy one of these While I was at it I thought why not ditch the steel case around my Odyssey battey,,,took a bit of work,,,but I got it out without damaging the battery. So thats a saving of 3.3 kilo's. I'll maybe add about 300 grams back in the battery holder,,,but 3 kilo's is a great result. Cheers Neil.
  8. Ah Yes big one,,, $17.50 a wheel is lashing out I must admit.
  9. Mel doesn't give a shit to be honest mate,,,she just likes taking trophy's to work and sticking it up her known it all technicians. So what are you saying,,,sounds like I should have gotten hired help,,,maybe I can find a stray or two up there.
  10. I bought these off ebay on Sunday and they turned up today. I figured my refurbished wheels and new tyres could do with some lovin. $70 bucks for 4 seems like good value. Cheers Neil.
  11. I would also check all the sensors front and rear just to make sure everything is connected properly. Would I be correct in assuming the front steering rack on a S1 has a sensor as the S2's do. You would be so pissed off if turned out to be just a crappy connection or a frayed wire because it does work sometimes. Cheers Neil.
  12. Next event is in Grafton 6th/7th June mate and then Tamworth on July 18th/19th. I have conned Duncan into coming to the next 2 long distance events,,,.He needs to work less and enjoy some racing for a change anyway. Mel is getting lazy these days and I can always do with the help. Cheers Neil.
  13. I only have one question at this stage,,,is the car a track only car or a track/street car???. Cheers Neil.
  14. This man does not talk with a forked tongue apart from a $1000 buck for bilsteins. OH can someone please explain to me why so many Skyline owners say they do or don't want "Coil Overs". Coil "f**king" Overs are standard on all out cars. Cheers neil.
  15. Nor is to a smoking gay Sr20.
  16. Hey Mick can you make one of these in aluminuim?. Cheers Neil.
  17. Ha Ha,,,yes everything in this world is for sale mate as you well know,,, someone just has to pay up. I would have bought the Purple GTR from Canberra but Mel hated the colour. Sooner or later I will move on to something else. Cheers Neil.
  18. We can type all sorts of stuff but the fact remains that almost no one lifes their parts,,,especially suspension. It's bolt it up and forget about it till a failure. Dan you track your car and smashing ripple strips is always going to shorten there life. Now a couple of guys say the hardrace stuff is the go,,,maybe they are right maybe they are wrong,,, not even hardrace know,,, hence their warranty policy and they don't look that much different to my chinese ones. Please don't think for one moment I am bagging there product. I am NOT,,,but certainly gives you an indication of what to expect. 19. Hey Shaun,,, do your self a favour and edit your profile,,,like what state you are in,,,what car you have ect. I found these guy's on ebay and as luck would have it they are only 5 minutes from me. Now I haven't used them yet but I did a liitle walk around and they had lots of stuff. https://www.skyline.parts/ Cheers Neil.
  20. Choose wisely mate,,, I have seen factory radius rods break over time and wis-bang spherical ones snap as well. Whilst the Spherical ones are more direct they have no give whatsoever,,,sooner or later they will fail. Lifeing both would be the idea,,but the question if for how long. Cheers Neil.
  21. You could always save on the work,,,money and blood letting. Buy Cheryl.
  22. No mate you have been more than helpful,,,just knowing it can be done is great news in itself. Looks like I'm off to the wreckers as well to work it out. Have fun piloting your missile. Cheers Neil.
  23. Ah Charles,,,one should not be worried about some little problem like water falling from the sky. We drive Skylines and they love slippery conditions. I'd much prefer to be in Cheryl in the rain than almost anything else. Cheers Neil.
  24. Great build mate,,,loving it actually. I have a question for you,,,can you shed some light on how you did the window winder conversation?. I also need to do this and any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Neil.
  25. Looking for a little help if anybody is using these. I've asked around and the general consensus is the exterior valve cap versions are very in-accurate. I'd like to try them on the trailer and if they work properly I think I might fit them to the Skyline. I noticed one of the Targa Skyline cars were using them at High Country last year but never got to ask what they thought of them. Something like this. Cheers Neil.
