I've just received 4 of these coolant bleeder/burping tools. They cost me $47.50 each landed to my door. Duncan and I will have 2 ,,,so 2 are up for grabs if anybody wants them. PM me if you are interested,,,1st in best dressed. Features and Benefits:- Enables unattended filling of the cooling system Saves time and eliminates spills and mess An additional adapter and threaded cap have been added to the set to fit screw on style adapters found on many newer GM vehicles Eliminates trapped air pockets which cause erratic cooling system and heater performance Fits most domestic and import cars and light trucks The Spill Free Funnel is used to fill coolant into the cooling system. It controls the proper amount of coolant entering system and enables unattended filling of the cooling system. The funnel eliminates squeaky belts caused by coolant overflow and protects the environment. Angled neck allows use on radiator caps that are placed at an angle. Cheers Neil.

Wish I had the space for cool stuff like that. I've often toyed with the idea of a small lathe but just no bloody room. This last week I've had to pull down an old shed up the back that stored all my old race bike stuff because we are having new fences put up and it was built right on the property line. Boy was this a blast from the past,,,I reminiscenced for hours then came across this old beauty. I used it once just for the fun of it,,, lets all be thankful for electricity. Cheers Neil.

Yea and I've noticed you only bought them for yourself mate. . Here's three more great tools,,,from Medalist,,,thanks Marky your a champion. Nice Butane torch,,,hands free operation,,,great for soldering big stuff,,,like battery cables etc but really cool on heat-shrink,,,warming hands,,,cooking pidgeons ect. Two in one with this baby,,,Drill Press and Vice,,,love both. Beautiful straight down drilling and a vice to hold everything nice and straight. Mark at Targa 2010. Cheers Neil.

Matt,,,I buy most of my tools from a mobile tool guy that comes to work. Do a goggle search mate there are quite a few brands that make them. Mine was on special at $69 bucks,,,they are usually about $90. Here's where I bought my drill set,,,They often have really cool sales and it's worth getting on there mailing list. https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Home?link=top I have bought a few things off them over the years,,,this el-cheapo blasting cabinet was about $120 bucks. I was lucky enough to have the sand and glass stuff so that cut down on my costs,,,trouble was after building it ,,,(it comes flat packed) I had to pull it apart again and seal up all the joints with foam. The perspex lid is a bit ordinary but for the money is great. It works a treat. Cheers Neil.

I just bought this kit as I got sick of using breaker bars to un-do diff and gearbox filler and drain plugs. 1/2 inch while being close to the right size is just asking for knuckle skin loss. While only one adaptor will fit Skylines the others will sooner or later come in handy for some other jobs. I have no idea why they supply a 3/8 drive short bar,,,I'll use a socket on the end and a breaker bar... Cheers Neil.

While I think those tool chests are very cool,,,they come full so theres bugger all room for expansion. A couple of other points need to be understood also,,,buying quality tools should basically last you a life time so spend wisely,,,those cute foam bits will not,,nor will the plastic ones. Tools break through abuse,,,shit I break them from time to time,,,thats just a fact of life and life time warranties while they sound great are not always backed up like you think. Personally I would pick a quality brand such as kinchrome (not sidchrome) buy a tool cabinet that suits you and add the tools as you want. You can alway expand with more cabinet add ons as you go. Hers's my current garage tool boxes,,,nothing special and no way big enough but I get a lot more tools in them than a bought tool chest. Cheers neil.

I've owned my sidchrome stuff for 20 years,,,great back then,,,but now nowhere near the same quality. Kinchrome are good quality tools for everybody thats not a full time mechanic imo. My old sidchrome stuff with it's life time garantee (spelling) is no longer covered by stanley,,,I'm not happy and will take it further. Cutting intercooler hoses,,,same old shit,,,mark it and use a blade,,,just don't cut off the end of your fingers mate. . These picking tools are very handy,,,they do a great job of sorting stuff out and would make great weapons if that stupid idiot next door starts trouble. Cheers Neil.

Rofl,,,you stick to the scissors mate,,,I'm over cutting radiator hoses and the like with them. I'm into nice and neat hoses. My old adage is "If you can't go quick look good". Moving on,,,heres 2 of my 1/4 drive sockets sets. This one is one I bought,,,it's a Kokon set ,,,Japanese brand,,,not rubbish which I'm liking. If I had the money I would buy all their products. This one is Kinchrome which was nicely donated to me by Duncan,,,still not quite sure why,,,maybe all my losed blood over the years. It's a great set as well being AF and Metric which suits me. Cheers Neil.

Cutting hoses straight is always a pain in the arse,,,not anymore with this razor sharp hose cutter. Rachet closing for one-handed operation,,, it will cut through plastic,,,rubber and nylon hoses. Now more using dangerous hand held blades. Cheers Neil.

Just voted. I can't beleive these people,,,it's only been open a little while,,,I haven't even done a lap there yet. Neil.

Andrew,,,a mobile tool guy that comes to work gave me an "End of financial year leaflet" today and the same one as mine (ABW 70618) is $269. I've had mine for a few years now,,, but I didn't pay anywhere near that. No way would I have paid any more than $180. Cheers Neil

Here's another favourite from Medalist. The flexable drill extension is what I'll call it. One end in the drill,,,the other end has a chuck,,,so you can use drills,,,grinding stones or what ever takes your fancy. It's great for getting into some of those hard to get at places. I love tools. If they make my life easier and I have the cash,,,I'll buy. Neil.

Can someone please turn off this bloody cold weather so I can at least go out into the garage during the week and work out why I don't have any bloody spark at the coils. Evil glad to hear your up and running again mate,,,great stuff. Neil.

Ah the old flywheel locking tool. I've been looking for a Nissan one for ages and wouldn't you know it a VW one fits. Many many years ago I owned Kombi's and had one of those. God only knows where it is now. Thanks mate,,,next time I'm over campsie way I'll buy one. This next one goes hand in hand with my tyre pressure gauge. It's an electronic temp gun,,,point,,,shoot and theres the temp,,,it also has an infrared pointer as well which is pretty cool. Great for track stuff as you can measure track and tyre temps and adjust pressures accordingly. But it's also useful for checking intercooler and radiator temps,,,you will be shocked at the difference from one side of a cooler to the other. There is a bit of a fun factor to it as well. Cheers Neil.

Ben,,,do you still need help mate?. Without going out in the freezing cold now I'll bet we have the socket you need but it will be in 3/4 drive. Duncan got that saying close to being right,,,I think it goes something like "Don't ever lend your wife,,,tools or lawnwmower as they will all come back to you rooted". If you need help mate just ask,,,I beleive at the moment it would be easier to use mine than Duncan's as his should be packed away by now,,Pm me tiger. Cheers Neil.

Everyone here needs to buy one of these,,,no exceptions. We all spend an absolute ton of money on tyres and having the correct pressures not only will extend the life of them but you will get the most out of them. Highly recommended!!!. Prices rang from $60 bucks to $200. They come in digital or analog,,,me personally I like the one I bought,,,very accurate and has the bonus of a release button on the side so you can easily lower the pressures with a touch of the button. I should have taken a better picture as it doesn't show the button (my Bad). Also you need to look after it,,,hence the plastic container. Cheers Neil.

This really isn't a tool as such,,,but I got sick to death of cable ties in open plastic bags floating around and ending up all over the place. I made it out of an old industrial ashtray and cut up lengths of plastic guttering down pipe. Riveted it all together,,,cut a handle in the tallest ones side and presto a cable tie organizer. Yes I'm anal. Neil.

Man thats one big torque wrench,,,1" drive and maxs out at 1340nm!!!. I thought my 3/4 one was big but thats serious stuff. I need mine to do up these centre lock nuts on my race car,,,they are 78mm hex,,,same as Lemans LMP1 and 2 cars. Cheers Neil.
-
Talking about torque wrenches I had to buy this bad boy for my centre lock wheel nuts. I think it goes to 700nm's. Cheers Neil.
-
If you ask nicey I'll pass it to you,,but while your up can you get me another beer cause I want to know what 'The Tuner Group' guy is going to do when his "in cabin electronically adjustable rear spoiler' is made illegal cause I wouldn't want to miss his reponse. Cheers Neil.

This drill kit is is a must have,,,remember the last time you broke a drill bit and then needed another. Not anymore with this one. Just have to remind my self to buy replacements. Cheers Neil.

Here's another quality product,,, from my good friend at "Medalist". Goes perfectly with my mig. Cheers Neil.

Nah mate shes rooted,, apparently both chassis rails are stuffed,,,remember she only had minimal strut towers as well which would be cactus. To be fair Pete she was always had rebuilds using 2nd hand parts,,,I could never spring the 45 grand for real quality stuff. If I remember correctly she had 4 re-builds in total,,,some real ordinary ones,,,10mm oil pumps instead of 12mm and all sorts of shit,,,but the last one Redline rebuilt was fantastic. That last one I could rev her to 13,500 but the torque curve was long gone so I used to shift about 10,500. Yea David he is a tool,,,I supplied him the said bolt that he got welded on and then he sent his son out when it was fixed,,,trouble was he didn't put the centre stay on the front splitter and it folded up under the car. Total idiot,,,he or his son could have had a second crash and in the vid the car still doesn't have it on. I sold her with all the fibreglass moulds and I think I used to pay 250 buck for front splitters to be made. Given the right car I would not hesitate at buying another Rotor powered sports sedan. Phunky knows what I'm talking about,,,until you have driven one you don't know what your missing. Nissan and Mazda rotors will always be my favourite main stream loves,,,except RX8's they are gay. Cheers Neil.

Bite,,,can you imagine the comments I used to get owning her,,,I used to cop so much crap. I just laughed and spun the story that Ford own Mazda so it was a match made in heaven and then some times win my class. She did me proud when she didn't smash motors,,,diffs and axles. Pick and Pay less were great. Texi,,,he smashed her at Bathurst the 1st time he took her out on a wet track on slicks,,,so he is a dick-head and in my eyes will be forever. Jason,,,,YOU suck tiger,,,that only happened twice that you know of. Neil.
