So I'll take it you hate Rotors Noel,,,thats cool,,,they are an aquired taste. Personally I loved the sound and loved reving her to 10500 rpm and I actually still do love that really beautiful sound everyone hates. I'll always have a soft spot for wankels forever. Heres some early pics of my be-loved girl. She had some great stuff under her hood,,,13BPP,,,Wolf3d injection,,,needham straight cut internals,,,9'' and 10'' slick,,,fibreglass everywhere and Duncans blood spilled all over her. She was a great girl. Neil.

I found out today that my much loved,,,departed Capri sports sedan is no more. She was a good girl,,,sure she broke my heart on way to many occasions but she didn't deserve this. We had great times together when she was doing what she was told. R.I.P. my love,,,I will never forget your wheel lifting,,,rotor screaming good times. Saddened Neil.

I beleive I aimed it at page 1. What I will say is this,,,Slicks are faster than semi's,,,Period. If you can't get your slicks up to temp after a warm up lap and one quicky then your on the wrong slick. If you don't beleive me have a look how fast Duncan and Marek are going in our championship. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....06/2010.WAKE.SS Radical Australia's corporate days use Kummo semi's on the 1st timer cars,,,quess what you graduate too when you get better. Obviously not every brand of slick is great,,,shit I've used Radicals Dunlop,,,standard customer Dunlop,,,Hooziers and am now on Goodyears and for the Radical the later is by far the best. Cheers Neil.

I always find it amusing how many of you post an opinion when you don't actually know what you are talking about. Please post the last time you qualified/supersprinted on slicks and then you may have some credability on this subject. Neil.
-
Noel,,,we are not running time attack we are running State supersprints and the rules allow you to run slicks. Actually i think time attack organizers should go along to a meeting and see how its run and the rules we run under. They may well learn how to run an event properly. Cheers Neil.

This baby has got me out of trouble lots of times. Think about the last time you couldn't undo that rear hub nut,,,front pulley bolt,,,diff pinion flange nut,,,ect,,,for me it easily removes my centre wheel nuts on the Radical when we have over-tightened them. Very sweet tool indeed. It now travels with me where ever I go racing. Proudly supplied by Mark at "Medalist",,,he's also just happens to be one of the founding members of "Team Raceworx". Thanks Marky. Cheers Neil.

I've used one of these and think they are are great. If anybody is interested in one pm me as I will be buying 2 soon and can get more. Yes I'm going to buy off ebay usa. They are made by Lisle part no 24610. Cheers Neil.

Yea mate everyone should have one,,,it's got me out of trouble so many times. The bastard that started this thread knows only to well. I have more cool tools but it's to bloody cold to go out now and take pics. cheers Neil.

Talk about stealing one new thread thought you bastard,,,but I digress. This little toy is way cool,,,this little puppy is a rivet gun and like a rivet gun can also rivet thread inserts and stud inserts as well and no it's not for loan unless you can roll my guards at the same time. Cheers Neil

Yea mate I can type shit with the best of them. News,,, 1/ Cams licence renewels on line is great but I have no confirmation that it actually worked. 2/ It will be bitterly cold but apparently no rain. 3/ There are still spots available,,,as of last wednesday. 4/ My rear tyres are shagged. 5/ Duncan's car is still not up on the S/Sprint web site displaying his well deserved No 1 Plate which sucks. Gossip,,, 1/ Duncan's rear spoiler is still being talked about by other competitors. 2/ There will be less clubmans there because of mechanical failures. 3/ I will have more straight line speed. Predictions,,, 1/ You will be still putting your windows back in while I laugh and have a beer. 2/ Brian will spin the R100 at least once at the paper clip. Cheers and see ya all on Sunday Neil. Um that will do.

Just a simple question,,,could you define "Cars ONLY". Type: Cars ONLY – All types welcome – Recruiting 20 cars MAX - for maximum track time. Are you talking tin-tops only or am I not allowed to bring say my Radical,,,maybe open wheeler or are you talking about bikes?. Cheers Neil.

Want To Go For A Ride In A 500kw Drift Australia Car?
Neil replied to Majanal's topic in New South Wales
I've been lucky enough to sit in the passenger seat with this lunatic on numerous occasions and it was a barrel of laughs. To look out the passenger window back up the straight while the car is sideways,,,screaming it's head off with smoke billowing out the rear is bloody fantastic. I highly recommend getting your bum in the seat,,,you won't be dissappointed. Cheers Neil. -

2010 Victorian Supersprint Championship
Neil replied to Neil's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
The 2nd round is now open for entries,,,any takers?. Mel and I'll be doing the trek down there,,,PI and I have un-finished business. I've had some tuition in an M3 with an ex lemans winner so hopefully my lines will be better. Here's the regs and entry forms:- http://www.piarc.com.au/files/VSSC%20Rd2%20Supp%20Regs.pdf http://www.piarc.com.au/files/VSSC%20Rd2%20Entry%20Form.pdf Cheers Neil. -
James as Mark said it's great fun. Usually it's 3 flying laps (sometimes 4 sometimes 5 and I've even done 10 minute sessions) so it's basically qualifying. Sure there's no door to door stuff and you are not actually allowed to race one another,,,but I have been known to slam the radical down the inside on many occasions. Neil.
-
Mark,,,14th is way cool mate,,,very, very impressive. Have a look at the cars you are beating tiger. My times are okay,,,but I should be all over Duncan like a hot rash but the motor I'm running has more neutrals than forward gears. Stuart better go quicker,,,I'm getting closer to you mate. Time to start building my own engine. Brian's R100 sounds so sweet at full song,,,I love that car. See you guy's in a fortnight. Cheers Neil.
-
Congrats Mrs Handley,,,1st in class,,,Nice work indeed. Neil.
-
Hope you can Russ,,,Duncan and I went looking for you at superlap but the garage was empty. Mel and I will be down there in the Radical,,,come say hello. Neil.
-
You know whats funny Dan,,,I won't be there,,,I'll be at Phillip Island. So SAU expects YOU as a driver trainer,,,just no Drift training tiger. If you have forgotten how to drive straight,,,put Liz in the passenger seat,,,. I rate the girl!!!. Cheers Neil.

I've got some new stuff as well,,,lets see new rear wheel bearings,,,a new cv boot and a fuel pressure gauge. Woo Hoo. No rain dances please,,,as much as it's fun,,,I get wet. See ya's all on saturday. Neil.
