  1. I'd be interested to know who's granted you permission to use it Duncan. My (and I'll bet I'm not alone) issue with it being locked, is whats to stop it being un-locked after scrutineering. If all the front runners start using it,(me included) we will need pre-grid and post grid inspections, which would suck. I'm far from happy with it even being on the car quite frankly and I would hate to see you win the championship again and then be protested. Oh by the way I've asked the Supersprint panel to change the web site so your car is up as the No 1 car. Neil.
  2. I thought I'd lost this little puppy. 2009 NSW Supersprint day/nighter. It's cold,,,wet,,,dark and I'm on slicks. Who cares it was mad fun. Neil.
  3. Seems someone either has a great memory or has watched the vid over and over. I think you actually like it Duncan. Can you feel the power tiger. Zebra's are just painted donkeys and you have already uploaded it haven't you. Shell,,,rumour has it the girls are off to the States to crack the big time. Neil.
  4. The winning car was in our workshop on wednesday. We took one look at it and laughed,,,wires and shit everywhere. The boys fixed 44 code errors. So it seems Holts team did a remarkable job. Neil.
  5. Personally I'll bet the balancer bolt was left loose at some stage,,,the gear has moved in and out of the crank,,,killed a belt and the previous owned slapped it back together and sold it to you. That crank is in a bad way,,,normally I would be happy to fix it but thats very bad. Neil.
  6. Yep very poor taste Andrew,,,but I think Radical Australia will do anything to help advertise the cars,,,which is fair enough. Hope this vid restores the cars coolness. Neil.
  7. Very true Duncan,,,but if a track owner can't make money,,,then they shouldn't own it. When was the last time a track closed because of bankrupcy?. ARDC have been making great money for years. Our next state supersprint round is over a month away and at last count 99 of a 110 spots are sold. The bit that shits me about the V8's is they suck every last dollar out of everybody. They make it almost impossible for state and most national runners to get any sponsorship money. Neil.
  8. Is it really such a bad thing,,,it frees up a weekend for you lower budget racers. Eastern Creeks totally booked so we don't need them. Cochran will either throw a heap of money at another street closure (look out Fremantle) or take that round off shore. If we can get all the permanent tracks to say no ,,,he might take all his pit lane overtaking/boring racing off shore. Neil.
  9. I never got a phone call,,,maybe it's my beer gut and grey hair. I did have a six pack once!!! but alas I drank it. Sinful,,,name dropping is um so 1990's,,,. Frickers cool tiger,,,he helped me when I needed it. That song sucks,,,but I'll have those 3 ladies as my grid bitches at my next round,,,especially the racer girl,,,shit can she drive. Neil.
  10. They make me violently ILL. Neil.
  11. Melinda would like the thank everybody that rolled up their sleeves and helped with lunch,,,Steve's wonderful girlfriend Anna,,,Ando,,,Benh,,,Chris and Stuart,,,in alphabetical order of cause. I personally would also like to thank EVERYBODY that helped out today. TOP job peeps. I would also like to thank all you lunatics for turning up and having a great time. Seems we all loved the push rod boys,,,cool bunch of people indeed,,,nice work Ben!!!. My vote went to the Firebird. Neil.
  12. Seems someone didn't listen to the drivers briefing. I remember something about holding up faster cars and letting them past on the straight. Clearly you were faster everywhere bar the straight,,,did you not talk to Duncan after that run???. If it any consolation Stuart,,,I get it at every round from the clubby's,,,I now just push in front,,,but if that doesn't work I now lay down the law to them. Seems the box car boys think they own red group. Neil.
  13. This last weekend marked the closing of Oran Park forever. This Saturday and Sunday were supposed to be the last race weekend,,,as a free for all,,,a run what you brung weekend,,but for lack of entrants,,,it was cancelled. So they opened the doors to a practice weekend. I took the Radical for testing and the 1st Ladies Skyline out for one last fling on the Saturday,,,43 degree heat made for a very bloody hot day. The Radical handled the heat wiithout a problem but her Skyline suffered big time. All in all it was fun. Here's some u-tube vids of the day. Lets all post up all the great times,,,bad times and everything in between. I have heaps more and I'm sure everybody does. No reason to hide your laps boy's and girl's,,,stop watching them now is just a dream. Neil.
  14. Okay I'll take your word for it,,,but if I ever see jerry can sratches on your boot lid,,,I'll,,,I'll...I'll cry. These are what we bought,,,funny the yanks now mould them with "Water",,,stupid bastards. They worked a treat,,,thanks to Mr Handley and much dedate on working out how much fuel I was using at Oran Park GP we worked out that 7 litres is about right for supersprinting,,,not 20 something. So thats about 10 to 13 kilo's or more I don't have to drag around the track. Neil.
  15. I'm now the proud owner of an Oran Park Broom,,,yes after searching and searching for something worthwhile thats about all I could find. Yes I stole it. Yes I will go to hell. Neil.
  16. Well Benh unfortunately and fortunately for some,,,the organizing commitee decided because it was the last time there they would increase the field to 125 cars. Thats basically 2 more groups of cars. Personally I thought it was a bad call. I'm of the opinion thats it's 1st in best dressed. I had a frustrating day with the car,,,Duncan and I have fixed and improved it,,,but it still has this weird thing happening,,,like massive turbo lag on the straight. Ebay here i come for an ECU might be a good start as well as some dyno time. The track also lacked mid corner grip all day,,,but not for Stuart to seems. Nice work mate,,,congrats!!!!. Bloody 4wd's are taking over,,,but at least I hung onto my class lap record which I own now forever. Neil.
  17. Pity the food dump isn't for sale,,,I would have bought it and fed those 2 lazy rip off bitches that run it brick by brick. I gave the head scank a serve today and she will get another tomorrow. GREAT racetrack but the rest out it is/was/always been bloody crap. Neil.
  18. No probs Mate,,,I tried everything to get you back out there today and I would do it again and again and again. I do enjoy the rare occasion when you snot everybody. Bloody great start tiger by the way. Kel's comments about lazy race car drivers motivated me. Bloody rally hoons!!!. To the PRO clown parts fitter that thinks that tightening the starter motor to with an inch of it's life and no idea how to position hose clamps,,,,YOU SUCK and should work on pushbikes. Neil.
  19. Thanks for the heads up on the drift rubbish Jess. I'm 1st out on Sunday,,,so I might take it easy and have a good look. Neil.
  20. Oh my god,,,you put a jerry can on the boot of a Skyline Shame on you!!!. Maybe on a commodore and a falcon but not a Skyline. Neil.
  21. Oh everyone loves a smartarse,,,. Pete,,,if you are using the plastic crap that Duncan has,,,then you need to remove the wood bits and suffer the expansion,,,if you are using the metal ones then they should fit,,,but not snuggly. Seems the brackets are not made for metal cans as I have the same problem as you. they flop around like a cock in a sock. Russ,,,ask Duncan about dipsticks,,,seems shorter dipsticks are all the rage or ask for directiions to my house,,,NOT. Neil.
  22. Love ya work babes,,,It's all understandable,,,thanks again. Ben,,,you better get out of bed really bloody early mate. Sunday just got a bit longer,,,check this out,,, I have been asked to let you know that NSWRRC has applied for and received approval to increase the number of cars permitted to run from 100 to 125. No registrant that did enter before last weekend will be denied a run. Obviously the increased number of cars has been permitted because of the immense number of entries for the event as I had predicted in earlier emails. This will be the last competition ever held at Oran Park. To accommodate the greater numbers there have been some changes to the day as follows: - 1. Instead of finishing at 4/4.30pm the day will finish at 7/7.30pm. Everyone should get sufficient runs. 2. Scrutineering will start at 6.45am 3. A full apparel check will be done at scrutineering. So drivers should turn up at scrutineering in full race apparel (Suit, shoes and helmet) or at the very least they should all be in the car. I have been told by NSWRRC that if there is no apparel there will not be a pass a scrutineering. Notwithstanding this, I would hope that everyone makes the scrutineers job as easy as possible by doing the right thing as we do need to make the day run as smooth as possible in view of the number of competitors who are running. We are going to be dead on Monday,,,glad I'm the 1st group. Neil.
  23. I would have thought more peeps would take up Steve-o's offer of 50 buck each,,,hell I'm thinking about it and with back pay I'll be owed about $2000. Are you paying us cash mate or are you using your cheque book?. Everybody Steve-o's not really going to pay you 50 smackers,,,he's just a funny bastard. Neil.
  24. Shit hope I'm quicker in the car than on the keyboard.
  25. Jess,,,Druncan runs Combined touring not Improved Production,,,which makes it all the more silly. I will remind early on. Thanks by the way. You better come down and say HI or we will come looking for you girla,,,we know where you hide. It's a massively big 3 days for us,,,Duncan Friday/Saturday and me on Sunday. We will be stuffed come Monday. Neil.
