  1. Oh,,,I see,,,so we all have to wait,,,I'm quessing something light and small,,,something new,,,something using fibreglass,,,something not street legal. Sorry but you can't use that engine to power you down conrod NAKED buddy. Neil.
  2. Please,,,Please keep us NSW boy's posted on dates,,,I for one would love some interstate stuff. I can't do the 25/26 Oct because of the Aust H/Climb Nats at bathurst but maybe other dates might suit. I hillclimb with that Mini Sports Sedan,,,thats Donny Vidlers car,,,nice old bastard with a heart of gold. The car runs a Suzuki GTI-R motor,,,,lovely piece of work. Next time you guys see him tell him Neil and Melinda say's HI Donny you old Bastard. Note to the Handley's,,,,please add Donny to my cool list. Neil.
  3. Nice choice there Ben,,,Hayabusa power hey,,,. What are you going to put it in?. Neil.
  4. Massive roll-down a hill at targa tassie 2007,,,the cars finally gone to GTR heaven and Marky's wife can now breath a sigh of relief. I'm sure pics will be forth coming,,,nothing like taking the piss,,,I have them but crappy SAU can't resize them. Looks like you two are on your own this coming weekend,,,I have to put my rear end back in and get ready for oran park the sunday after. Love as always Neil.
  5. shit we should have taken pics of it on the trailer,,,or did you take some Duncan???. Crushing pics,,,are you in one of your nasty moods again,,,.
  6. What Forum did you find it?. It's basically the same as fibreglassing. What I'd like to know is where you buy the fibre rolls?.
  7. Chris I have had no communications with anybody about it yet. Sounds like Jess must be in the know. You would have to assume being a day/nighter at Oran Park they will get tons of entries and my quess is they will try and restrict it to registered drivers and regulars. Neil.
  8. Harsh,,,when was the last time I called you that,,oh maybe Sunday when you were playing swings on Marks 1/2 cage. Even then I was looking after your best interests,,,wouldn't have wanted you to fall. Neil.
  9. Oh Shit,,,I thought Brad changed his name to Dave or I was indeed pissed.
  10. Hey don't drag me into "Off Topic" chatter in this thread or warnings will be issued. Marks have enough trouble finding particular posts as it is. But seeing as we are off topic,,, plans are afoot for some interstate racing before the years out. Neil.
  11. There not bracings,,,just filling in the gaps cut through the firewall. They have absolutely no structual significance. I could bog then up and repaint them if so desired. Jason yes that is my beer and if you look real close my smokes are on the roof as well. Mark no blood I hope as it was Duncans turn this last weekend.
  12. Chris,,,I'm a dickhead,,,I forgot all about you mate. Last Saturday would have been perfect for you as we did O/park GP and thought shit Chris could have done this round. I'm having a bloody ball,,,the cars still quicker than me but the gap is closing. I still can't get all the tin-top driving style out of my head. I brake way to early,,,accelerate way to late and my mid corner speed is just plain old crap. Having said that I broke the my class record last weekend,,,funny I beat Dennis the previous owner of the car. He did a 1.19.07 in 2006 and I did a 1.18.63. I have sup regs for the next round at O/Park south on the 14th Sept but not the day/nighter yet. I will post up when I have them. Jess could please please please ask Dave about my windscreen I need it desperately. My head is getting bounced around like a pin-ball with out it. Sorry but Skylines NEVER EVER come last. Neil.
  13. Yea your absolutely correct screamin,,,I thought the same but forgot to mention it last weekend. It proberly not get through scruteneering either. Steveo I do it for the fun,,,I get free lunch,,,usually maka's for breakfast,,,a free ashtray and Marky often brings home cool stuff. But best of all is watching Duncan do something the hard way,,,sit back suck on a fag,,,laugh and then show him an easier way. Once upon a time Mark was the starter motor man,,,now we all can un-bolt the bloody thing,,,Duncan has gone a step further and uses a piece of rope to pull on the spanner,,,,ah he's a thinker. Neil.
  14. Ryan the Radical is doing me no harm at all at the moment,,,actually I'm getting very used to it. 1.46 at E/C was a happy time and more to come. Do you think Duncan was pissed when he posted tonight???. Neil.
  15. I have a fuel cooler that will be going on the car if the boys wonna part with some of their hard-earned. Neil.
  16. Eastern Creek this Sunday,,,anybody entered?. Sounds like the weather report is for no rain and a little warmth,,,so I might actually get some quick times in. I did a lowly 1.49 last time and ended up 11th so I need to improve big time. Neil.
  17. Personally i don't like it and I definatley don't like the implications of making it happen. The current track is great as it is,,,there's plenty of overtaking spots unlike most other tracks in skippy land. My only bug-bear with the current setup is you can't see shit as a spectator. Why not bulldoze coporate hill and turn 2's hill flat,,,build some simple covered grandstands and heaps of stepped seating like next door. Neil.
  18. I have pics of the rear suspension you two idiots were after,,,sorry Marky forgot about the cage pics you also wanted,,,I was busy kicking Skyline butts. The Gibson car ran all Glass which I had forgotten,,,but it does run factory electric windows and no demister on the front screen. Sorry no help comimg my way in the next few weeks,,,I'm racing,,,but I might need your welding help Mark. Neil.
  19. Mate it's not that twisty,,,you start with 4 lanes and thats how at stays. You go through a left/right chicane up through a flat out left,,,flat out right and so on,,,I think I brake maybe 3-4 times, the hard bit is the last left because they narrow the road with withches hats to slow you down over the finish line. From memory I was clocked at 180 over the finish line in the sports sedan. Now thats quicker than most Skylines are going to be going only because I was on super wide sticky Avons. But as you read at all tracks and in sup-regs "Motor Sport is Dangerous". Neil.
  20. It's four lanes wide in sections. Do you actually know which part of the road we use?. I'm guessing NOT. I've done it in my Skyline,in my Sports Sedan and can't wait to do it with the Radical. Neil.
  21. Well Bulahdelah may not have a round of the NSW Hillclimb Championships this year but thats not stopping them letting us have some crazy fun on one of the best bits of road in Skippy land. The 2008 Bulahdelah Speed Weekend is on the 20th and 21st of Sept with a Show and Shine on the Saturday for race cars/displays/market stalls/food and Driver fun on the Sunday. If there's a piece of road more suited to hillclimbing than Wooton Way it could only be Bathurst's Mountain Climb. I'd like to see a whole bunch of Skylines gridding up. Neil.
  22. Oh okay sorry for the mis-understanding on my part Pete. So that would make you just a simple prick-teasing poof.
  23. ROFL,,,Maybe a Radical with a wide seat might help. GTR's love emptying wallets,,,great fun while there going though,,,,that why the boys can't help themselves. What about an RB25det,,in 4wd,,,maybe it would last longer. Neil.
  24. Mel has all my sessions on tape,,,thanks to Duncan for teaching me how to burn discs,,,I'm hopeless on puters. I haven't been to a Powerplay day yet that hasn't been well organized and a barrel of fun. Well done to everybody that helped on the day. I'm not going to name names cause I would forget someone which wouldn't be fair. Some memoral moments included the z-tune spinning in front of me,,,maybe i shouldn't have pressured him so much. Owning the R35 was just funny,,,the R35 was faster in a straight line than the z-tune though. A great running battle with the Silvia all day,,,man that cars quick. There was a beautiful black R33 GTR,,,forgotten his plate but he is mad fast in a straight line. Very very quick car. But the best one was following Terry in the Gibson GTR in the arvo. We both have the same straight line speed and make no mistake I'm better under brakes and corner speed BUT following so close to such a great race car was the highlight of my day. Don't think for one second that he wasn't up it for the rent,,,we spoke afterwards and he said "no way was I letting you past". I had him lined up numerous times but he knows how to shut doors. Reminded me of pommy car show,,,"Small fry against the big dollar boys or something". Richard,,,the cars done a 1.02 something there so if i can get just below that I would be happy. I was 3 tens off the previous owners lap record at O/P with speed in reserve when the control arm broke so come summer I think I can do it. Fatz,,,I seem to remember you running slicks,,,so you were gayer first. Love as always Neil.
  25. What a fun day,,,Chris and I couldn't stop laughing,,,snotting all the mega-buck cars. It was the first time Easto has been on slicks and he was over the moon,,,he"s a great driver in my book... For me,,,I did excellent times considering the cold,,,track temp 10 degrees and my tyre temps maxed at 32. I owned everybody all day apart from the 1 lap dash,,,wait till the weather warms up. Oh and I love that asterix next to my name,,,who was the clown that said I would never be on pole???. Kiss my arse sucker. Neil.
