Your on the money there Boz,,,which brings me an interesting thought,,,mind you it's only a thought. The 4wd's do have a distinct advantage when cutting corners and as a result they drag dirt and crap on to the track. Thats a no brainer. With enough marshals,,,witches hats or ever soft flexable poles could be uses,,,touch one and you get a 5 second penalty. We use witches hats at some tight hillclimbs because the wrx's and evo's were actually shortening the track. Neil.

The biggest problem for most sports sedans is tyres. My old Capri would fit in nicely (non space frame) but it would eat R spec tyres like they were going out of fashion. Same goes for my Radical ,,,190/535/13 fronts and 230/570/13 rears might be hard to get (never bothered looking),,,the Radical SR3's runs similar diametres but in 15's which would also be just as hard. Three quick laps and a new set of rears please. Can you actually imagine for one moment,,,me with a truck load of tyres,,,putting Frosty in my car,,,Bye,,,Bye Lotus,,,Bye Bye the whole field. I think the "R" spec rule is a great one because it stops a lot of the super quick race cars from entering. Bending it is easy mate and just bend it slightly by hand 1st and then using something like the handle of a hammer ,,,slide along the wood scrap and it will look great. Neil.
