Unfortuately Dave,,,I'm the only one representing SAU and so far I have bagged the maximum points on offer. The R31 owner doesn't seem to be registered so he can't get us points but you my good man can. I came looking to say hello a couple of times but you must have been out on the track or in pre-grid. I did a 1.49.16,,,slow as a wet week,,,it was just to cold and couldn't get any temps into the tyres. On my last runs cool down lap I looked at the water temp and it read 62 degrees,,,the thermostat would have closed back up!!!. Neil.

Jess,,,16 degrees,,,windy and rain is the weather report,,,I have new tyres and brakes to bed in and can't see any of that happening. Wets are already on the car. I'm a little pissed off and nervous at the moment,,,E/C is my fav track and looks like I could be a spectator for most of the day. Duncan are you baiting me?. You must excuse Duncan,,,If Nissan stop making cars and started making push-bikes he would buy 4 of them and tell the world there the best. The Navara while a great vehicle,very reliable and drifts well is a very slow tow vehicle. The hill out of Goulburn sees it doing 60 kays max,,,no about 40,,, the old EF falcon wagon is doing 90 kays. Easy maths 2.4 against 4.0,,,carby against EFI. It's a no brainer. Now the Stagea is a different kettle of fish,,,absolutely beautiful wagon,,,all the mod cons,,,but IRS,,,NO thanks. I can see the rear end dragging it's arse all around NSW in the not to distant future. My advice would be to buy a single cab ute with leaf springs and with one of those lockable canopies. Dual cabs just don't have the room. Now a LWB Patrol would be great or a Falcon Wagon with an extra leaf or what I did and had installed polyair helpers. Neil.

Thought I might chuck my 2 cents worth in. I like the towcar/trailer way of doing it. It means you don't have to fill the car up with all your gear. Lets face it,,, older GTR's are not the most reliable thing (or for that matter any racecar/track car) and driving to somewhere close like eastern creek and breaking something can turn into a real hassle on a Sunday afternoon at 4.00pm. Personally I see nothing wrong with buying a 2nd hand trailer. We bought our new one in 2004 cost just over 4 grand and it has never let us down. Having said that it will be for sale soon and whoever buys it is going to get a bloody great trailer. Racewerx trailer was a piece of shit to start with and no amount of money is going to make it great. It is dubed the "Death Trailer" for good reason. The tow vehicle does come with issues if you buy the wrong car. Late model IRS utes are a joke. Everybody I have spoken to curses themselves as the rear end never stops sagging. One guy uses a ba ute,,,tows a Mini on a single axle trailer and he lives at the dealership getting the rear end fixed all the time. It has even rubbed the bottom of the mudflaps. Which ever way you jump you NEED insurance. Car and trailer or just the rally rego car. Have fun. Neil.

I had a blast today,,,The radical is by far the quickest car I've ever driven. Tail-out fun indeed, especially up the hill to the bridge and the rightt/left afterwards. Thanks heaps to everybody that helped keep me on the track today. I would have thought that lotus would be quicker than me but no way. I'll be doing all the state hillclimb champ events,,,the state supersprint ones and a bunch of track days. You should do the state supersprints,,,that car of yours would be an absolute ball at O/P and E/C. Do you have anybody to help you look after it and did you get any equipment with it.
