  1. Tosh you are kidding. Why the would you pull the fuse on the best 4wd system on the planet. Predominetly RWD till things go wrong and then starts transfering to the front. I was trying to work out why you would type such a comment and then I remembered that you own a crap box Toyota and wouldn't know any better. Besides that if Jason turns up with his FIL that makes 3 AWD's which makes a class of it and all the pair have to worry about is a laser. So are you coming with the new diff in the 810 or was that to hard?. Remember we have a tow car and trailer buddy. Neil.
  2. All the Nissan Aust imports and for that matter the Private Scuderia Veloce ones all had drilled discs but not slotted. The ones that were used for heavy track use suffered from cracking but maybe that was just the fact that it was almost un-heard of back then and things have improved since then. Most high quality performance cars now use them as standard. E46 M3's use them and BMW will be offering them as an up-grade in the not to distant future. As I said,,,warm them up properly and you shouldn't have a problem. I gotta tell you though 007,,, Abo Bob's front & rear slotteds look fat. Neil.
  3. I've been using my DBA drilled and slotted fronts for about 2 years now. They have done 3 track days and proberly 30,000 street kays. No cracking on mine and I've used Bendix Ultimas, EBC's and RB74'2. I think the fact that I warm them up before murdering them helps. Neil.
  4. Jason,,,Bring the pair of GTR's. You and your father-in-law will have a ball,,, Motorkhana NSW will hate you as much as they hate me. Strap on the D01J's buddy and get into it,,,I'll bet you won't go home dissappointed. Neil.
  5. Okay all you slackos,,,round 2 is fast approaching. Same place as the 1st one "Nirimba" which is at the Quakers Hill Tafe. Lets see some Drift,,,Drag ,,,Circuit boys and all you illegal street racers (YES YOU) out there for some mad legal fun. Neil.
  6. I think I'll go with last one buddy. Neil.
  7. Duncan I've worked some of it out. The rules say if theres less than 3 in any one class they will be merged into another. It didn't matter in the end cause he brought a RWD one anyway. I basically screwed up,,,As you well know money is being channeled elsewhere and I had to use crapy old tyres. Traction was a non event. I did actually lead the D's for a while but as the day went on the car got undrivable to the point of basically wheel spinning whenever I got on the throttle. Neil.
  8. I'm with the Abo bloke. I did approx 90 laps at Oran park 2 weeks ago and now have no tyres left for the skyline. Don't even ask me about the Capri. More notice would be great, Neil.
  9. Thanks Fatz great day you big girl. The Pulsar kicks arse....No tyre changes,,,just tons of fun. SOOOO many "P" platers today,,,.Good stuff,,, maybe they won't do it on the street anymore,,,but I doubt it. Now 1 more VB and off to bed for some real Motorkhana/Sideways Stuff tomorrow. Neil.
  10. Bugger Dino looks like I'm doing another one on my own. But I could be wrong,,,,Toshi-san might have fixed the 810. Plan for me this year is to win class D and kick that Peugeot 405's arse. Why I have to compete against a front wheel drive I'll never know. Neil.
  11. Hey Tosh get some grease under your fingernails boy. I'd help ya but I'm playing skid pan tommorow and Motorkhana on Sunday. Feel free to ring me If you get stuck and need advice though. Neil.
  12. Ha Ha I'm with you Merli,,,,I read EC,,,seems Petes fixed his fo-par. Truck water is the go there,,,. Tosh your GAY. Neil.
  13. Hey Fatz got any witches hats,,,I might bring the Pulsar out,,,. We could actually see how good some of you are at Motorkhana and then if any of you are good enough you can back up on Sunday and do the 1st round of the NSW championship. Neil.
  14. If anybodies interested the 1st round of the NSW Championship is on this Sunday. It's being held at the Quakers Hill TAFE and is being run by Thornleigh car club. I'm going,,,hope to see some of you lot there. Neil.
  15. Jon,,,the rules state no "EOI",,,so either it up for sale or I'll have to remove the post. Neil.
  16. Fatz,,,Is it okay to pay you on the day?. I've got a problem with one of the rear calipers and Race Brakes www.racebrakes.com.au are trying to fix it. Neil.
  17. Ah Bonkers remember your comment about dragging the power out of your Skyline,,,on the money there mate. The starter motor was shorting out, some of the starter cables were ruited and the outside kill switch was stuffed as well. Wiring has been fix including a new fuse box. I'm hoping that fixes the problems as I would very much like to kick some un-named smartarse Skyline owners arses. Oh and a BIG thanks to Greg from Autosport Engineering for all his help. www.autosport.net.au Neil.
  18. Thanks Kel,,,well worth the wait,,,You did well girla and your friend (forgot her name). The Capri looks great, now all I have to do is make it work as good as your pics. It will happen, it's only a matter of time. The Beer-Baren(spelling) owes you 2 another days work. Neil.
  19. Enough Okay,,,If you are not interested in buying this car DON'T post Neil.
  20. Okay,,,Okay Enough. Please only post if you are interested in buying this car. Neil.
  21. Ah thanks Pete you are such a caring/sharing kinda guy. neil.
  22. Put me down for a spot Pete,,,the Capri should get more than 7 laps this time. I might bring the R33 as well. Neil.
  23. So would you like me to see if it fits next Saturday?. Here's the plan,,,you work on the GTR and Tosh and I will do the 810 or I'll do the 810 on my own. Neil.
  24. Get some time off,,, have a nice drive down to Sydney and get Powerplay to do the job. I work in the Industry and loved their work. You might pay more than some other places but you won't be dis-appointed. Neil.
  25. Well seems I came in 12th out of 42 cars,,,.The results show I wded the last course which was the "Oh what a feeling" but thats crap,,,I did a 29.39 and a 29.13 with no penalties. I don't really care cause it was all in good fun and I won my class anyway. Duncan I have the h-brake/clutch stuff sorted and I started trying different approaches and what seemed to work was when I had enough speed up going to a flag I pushed the clutch in and rolled into the beginning of the apex and then used the combo again. It made the back of the car much more settled. Yep now that I have the rotor I can't see me stuffing around with the Pulsar,,,Mind you,,, you know you only ever have to ask if you need help with the 810. Neil.
