Hey Jay hows it goin buddy. Long time no see. Nah mate ufo's our weekend fun car,,,trouble is Mel likes to take her out with her girlfriends. I can hear it now "What have you done to the car this time it's making this stupid bloody clunking noise".
I spoke to the George Tatnell (Speedway Guy) today, he say's he can re-build it and tighten it up at the same time. Joe-Anne at Powerplay is looking as well.
Neil.
Thanks guy's,,,,now I'm even more bloody confused., but its all good. I'm just a bit worried what the better half will say if I go down the clunky road. Think I'll make a few more phone calls and see what I can come up with.
Neil.
I'm a single spinner at the moment. Have any of you guy's had a re-build?. I sorta need it done real quick,,,track days are comin up. Any help would be much appreciated.
Neil.
Guy's,,,do a search,,,There is a thread here somewhere. But after saying that,,,what I suggest is you take the cooler to a Radiator Repairer. After all basically the only difference between the two is one flows water and the other flows air.
Neil.
rrrr,,,why would you go to so much trouble posting such an informative thread when YOU don't own the car,,,,Posting for a Friend is a No-No. Please read the rules. I'm locking this thread and I suggest you get the owner to join and post his own sale.
Neil.
Without sounding rude I would like don91e's one,,,only because he's in Sydney which makes it easier for me but if he doesn't respond soon are you willing to sell yours for the same ?. I'll will pay the freight of course.
Neil.
Yep spot on buddy. That slotted plug is rubber and yes it's the adjuster hole,,,Great steal indeed. Now imagine a front wheel drive car,,,it's easy the spin the rear wheels because theres no resistance,,,now try it on your LSD equipped car. It's much harder to spin the rears and that makes it harder to distinguish between the spinning of the wheel and the handbrakes shoes rubbing up against the inner discs. Just be a little conservative.
Neil.
Ronin are you physic or something. I just walked in after adjusting my handbrake for this weekends motorkhana at Oran Park. I would think that an R32 would be the same,,,just do what I told the others,,,pull off the discs and have a look. In actual fact this is a great idea because you can learn which way the adjuster goes. LSD's are a pain in the arse,,,the wheel will not spin freely.
Neil.
Easy mate,,,,have a look in the Private Sale section,,,Jay sells his Mums sewn leather boots and a read of the post should help you. Buy them,,,,but don't forget to send a block of chockies.....
Neil.
I'm interested in this copy (I need a spare one) but I would like to know how this guy is going to make the 4 front mountings. Factory ones have 2 wing nut secured mounts on the outer side of the air intakes and 2 of the same between the outer air intakes and where you would mount a FMIC. If he can come up with a way of mounting it that is more than just securing the bottom of the lip and at the end of the bar then I'm in. Anything less will move around over time and rub paint off the bar.
Neil.
junior,,,you sound like a business,,,please PM me otherwise. Locking this thread for the time being. I didn't lock it back in Feb,,,maybe I should have.
Neil.
For the life of me I can't understand why you guy's want to run Jap oil coolers. Gibson never did,,he ran Sereks or the like with direct ducting. The jap one are way to thin and the oil passes through them way to fast.
