No only the rear belts are changed. Front ones are factory. Yea check the electrical connection under the seat and then the bulb in the Dash. If that doesn't fix it,,,give up it's not worth working out. Neil.

Why you ask,,,okay a friend of mine lives in a big industrial estate and we use these cars for a bit of fun,,,burn outs,,,smash up derbies,,,,that sort of stuff. We bought a sigma wagon the other day for a case of beer,,,. As I told the Cop that wanted to know what the hell we were doing,,,,I said we were helping the enviroment,,,getting rid of old shitboxes off the road. Neil. Pm me or use my e-mail [email protected]

how to cut a front bar to fit in fmic
Neil replied to KamikazeR33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Sorry mate,,,no pics on the net,,,I do have an SLR that takes great pics,,,but the Boss of this site has been a little slack and not built a web site for me yet. Kamikize,,,with the trust one you have the trim two section of the electric fan as well as the plasic knob that sticks out and also trim the a small section of the chassis rails and the front bar reiforcement. Again lifes a lot easier using a angle grinder. Sounds scary but its not that bad. Neil. -
how to cut a front bar to fit in fmic
Neil replied to KamikazeR33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
The angle grinders the way to go. I did my M spec bar with one and it came our perfect. No painting was needed. Dremel would take forever and cost a small fortune in discs and I tried the air saw but it was not making a nice clean cut and pulling off the paint. I use an Artline pen to trace where I needed to cut,,,took my biggest cut back by 2mm and then lightly use the grinder to finish it off. I also used some rolled up sand-paper around a can to curl the sections where my pipes go through the outer parts of the bar. Mesh is held in using thick blobs of Sikaflex. I gotta tell ya,,,take your time,,,don't rush it and it will look like a pro did it. A number of people including my mechanic thought I had got it all done by a pro. I bought the Trust Kit and just let me say,,,it's unbeleivable,,,every nut, bolt, screw, spacer, bracket,,,bloody everything. Even had the replacement washer bottle and a stopper if the cars not fitted with a rear wiper. If you really want an excellent FMIC kit with everything,,,Buy Trust. Neil. -
So I have organized a standard GTS-T Snorkle through skyline33,,,,but surely one of you GTR guy's has a standard one you could part with. Neil.

Lucky you,,,I have seen rust,,,both in the boot area where the boot floor meets the rear 1/4 panel extentions and up under the rear wheel arches. Neil.
-
Rust more Rust and More Rust,,,depending on where the car lived in Japan,,,,they use salt to break up the snow. Check the boot area both inside and out. Remove the boot trims and have a good look/feel around. Also check up underneath all 4 guards and make sure it's all clean. Check for accident damage,,look at all the hinges and there bolts to see if a snappers been on them and removed some of the paint. Really you should have a good Mechanic and a Panel Beater/Painter/Detailer with you because these guy's know cars. Neil.
-
Just a small note,,,Mark has been told to take no shiit off anybody at Malalla this weekend. Stone Bros haven't had to replace any panels while Mark's been driving so theres plenty of spares. If that means leaning on somone then so be it. He's never been a dirty racer,,but did cop a bit at Winton. Neil.

Staunch,,,,It's all cool buddy,,,you sturred the pot and got a great reaction. 33's are by far the most common,,,but then again they are the best looking. 32's look dated and 34's only look good in Yellow and Blue. Sorry but Black is just a priick of a colour. Some might think Skylines are getting more common by the day,,,but the fact remains You can't buy a better performance car for such a small outlay. Neil.

I'm thinking,,,,RX7 S3 mild work 13B Carby,,,shit did I say carby= light,,,short wheel base, revs like mad and would give both of us hell. Rotors are so cool,,pity the habibs have given them a bad name. I just love the sound of a worked rotor. I gotta get you outta that old shcool car and into a rotor. Neil.
-
Yes COD would be great,,,I'll return your pm with delivery address. Thanks Neil.
-
Thats cool buddy,,,,pm me your details and I'll send you the money. Neil.
-
How's the Datsun going bud,,,,still enjoy that push in the seat. Next car for you has to be a rotor,,,you'll get a fat driving one. Neil.
-
Which one you got Ahmed,,,my stock one or the gtr one,,,,.Then again if you have both I'd gladly pay you $40 for each. Neil.
-
Hey 2forty,,,your kidding aern't you. 3 Skylines for every HSV. Man you been sniifin that white stuff through pushrods for too long man. Skylines are not that common,,,we just all look for them,,,much the same as I can spot an M3 from 1/2 a kay away. As a little project I sat outside work today while eating my lunch and counted 2 Skylines 9 HSV's and 5 Hot BA's,,,start counting Hippo BA's,,, their ranks are growing by the day. Neil.

Vibration From front Right Under Brakes??
Neil replied to NA_R33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I would check your front radius rod bushes. If you are still running the originals replace with new nylothane ones. Neil. -
Nick,,,I'm interested,,,,if you get some drop-outs I'd be up for a run. Neil.

Howard Marsden passed away this last Tuesday,,,This particular Gentleman was very instrumental in putting Nissan on the map in Racing in Australia and for that matter the World. I wouldn't say I knew him personally but on a number of occasions I took him to Sydney Airport after a Nissan trade show or whatever and found the Man to be not only a Gentleman but also a Genuine guy that loved his Motorsport. Skaifey,,Seton,, Fury,,Gentleman Jim and a whole lot of other motor-racing guys must be very upset right about now. Neil.
-
Gentlemen,,,there will be no more talk about Burning,,,Copying ect,,,,or I'll slap your wrists. Neil.
-
Well nobodies really sure what Mark will be doing next year,,,there has been talk about Konica's again,,,but his car is/was sold,,,maybe Porsche cup on a lease plan and nothing about the Big Taxi's. Stone bros wouldn't won't a 3rd car in their team because that would mean 3 cars using the same gantrey in the longer races,,,Not good. So we will have to wait and see. What I do know though is Mark will be doing Sandown with Noske in Russell's car and then Konica's at Bathurst and also the big one with Noske again on Sunday. No quessing where I'll be that weekend. Neil.
