  1. Apexi SAFC2 blue screen, full loom, a1 condition, used once or twice not needed anymore. Urgent sale, $280 + postage ono, direct deposit or if in sydney pick up. No need for pic we all know what they look like, this one is in great condition, never tuned all wired up just a matter of splicing it into the loom, connecters and all. [email protected] Michael
  2. Blitz KKK K3 turbo, 450hp, A1 condition, suited to T2 flange, requires external wastegate, 54/64mm turbine, 52/76mm compressor, 57mm exhaust outlet, comes with oil lines, flanges. Suited for anything to a 2.5L engine. $650 ono In sydney. [email protected]
  3. The good old days indeed
  4. as topic. kkk k3t turbo, rated at 450hp by blitz...which is underrated anyway. this one is suited to an s13 style mounting, with a 90 degree elbow on the compressor cover. It has NO internal wastegate provision, requires an external gate, exhaust housing is ceramic coated. Almost brand new...comes with all gaskets and exit plate and silicon hose for compressor. I want $1000 ono for it. In sydney, dont really want to send interstate, if you want it then postage is on top. [email protected]
  5. It requires an external wastegate. It can mount where ever you want, low or high, depends where it will fit. the compressor housing has a 90 degree elbow on it.
  6. $1050 ono, a1 condition, hardly used, ceramic coated exhaust housing, rated to 450hp, no internal wastegate. only in sydney [email protected]
  7. $400 ono in sydney only. 9psi spring, a1 condition no flanges. [email protected]
  8. As topic says 1x Turbonetics 42mm racegate external wastegate, 9psi black spring, $500 ono 1x Blitz KKK K3T turbo, no internal wastegate, ceramic coated exhaust housing, oil lines and fittings, exit flange, all gaskets, similar in size to HKS GT3037 cept plain bearing centre, no shaft play what soever, in very good condition. $1200. Only for sydney buyers, wont send interstate. [email protected] Thanks.
  9. New 55mm Subzero External Wastegate with v-band flanges and clamps, never used wouldnt fit the projects engine bay, much too big, good for big power turbo, one of the most reliable units on the market. Im also looking for a wastegate round 40mm or so. After $900 ONO for the wastegate, GCG sell these for $1100 new, much cheaper than jap stuff, also light, weighs in at 2.5kg. CNC machined aluminium top, cast steel body. [email protected] Michael
  10. Im after a pair of front r33 gtst discs, not willing to pay more than $100 for both discs. Need them for a project In sydney only please. [email protected] Michael
  11. This is my understanding of the cam gear phasing. By advancing the inlet cams timing you are effectively improving the ability of the cylinder to be filled at lower rpm by allowing more air in earlier, thus improving torque creating more exhaust gas flow and spooling up the turbocharger slightly quicker. Exhaust is retarded to allow more gas flow out of the valves at higher rpm, relying on the ability of the turbocharger to force air into the cylinders to make more power rather than the inlet cams ability to take it in. Correct me if im wrong. Michael
  12. I prefer time, it usually only costs me my day!
  13. Hell I am a chequebook racer, I write a cheque for time everytime I need to fix something =]
  14. The most spectacular part I find about this car is the owner and more not the car itself. He has had the strong determination to push on amidst many struggles and problems, most people will crack way before this and give up hope, yet Mario put aside much of his personal life to fund the project with all the knowledge and experience he could. Money makes power, but it doesn't build a quick reliable car....and Ive seen this with my own eyes many times. Now to build some thing to this extreme of course it takes a lot of money, but again do you think a set of pistons that will withstand the combustion pressures a 1400? odd hp engine on 3+bar of boost without using some exotic (read ultra-expensive) light weight alloy and last more than 10seconds. You cant approach a car like this without having the financial backing behind you, that is why most people such as Victor Bray (for example) have sponsors behind them to help back up the expensive costs of what big horsepower does to an engine driveline components and vehicle....Research costs money because if you don't break it then you don't know its weakness. But whether the cost or not they do it because they enjoy it...as with Mario. Im sure he earns a good amount of money, but with all the costs (money and time) of building such a drag car has still taken a toll on his pocket / life. You don't make a lot of money (legally) without dedicating a lot of time to making it. So congratulations to Mario, Jim and the CRD boys, Andrej and everybody else who assisted in the project. Everybody has done a spectacular job, and I feel because of Marios determination it all went to plan so well. I mean who else could get the CRD guys to work 24/7 on a car to have it finished!!! *hides*
