  10. hey cheers for the response guys, i think i'm somewhat mechanically minded was just seeing if there were common things that go wrong in them to keep an extra watchful eye out for, also with the RAA check a bunch of my mates are mechanics so i'll def be getting them to give it a look over take it into their workshop and get it in the air, and dohmar as good as it sounds i think i'd stick with a 2 door got my eye on a couple of cars at the moment. Thanks guys Paul.

  16. just read and found out that there is such thing as an r33 gts and gts type g that came out with an rb20e motor that was putting out a powerful 96kw and 172Nm of torque out and there is also an r33 gts25 and type S which had an rb25e that has 140kw and 230 Nm of torque my source of information reckons that all of these models were series 1 r33 non turbo's the only r33 that had an rb25de in it that was a series 1 was the gts4 this is the site i found this info on may be very wrong considering it is a cepo site and come on how often do you see a yank driving a skyline? http://skylineownersusa.com/files/nissanspecs.pdf
  17. hmm perhaps they did have an rb25e :S pointless really lol
  18. hey all was just looking through the trader at non turbo cars because of a certain turbo law in QLD against P platers but i did come accross what is advertised as an rb25 skyline non turbo but to me in the pictures in sure does look like an rb30e can someone please have a gander and comfirm this for me? or did the rb25 come out in a single overhead cam version? because i know that some 32's came out sohc anyway link to the add is below http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/U...ckToResult=true

  20. cheers heaps for that info, na havent owned it since then however i think i will just keep my license and car registered here in SA
  21. ok well that sucks i might just keep it registered here and and keep my south australian license until its full, yeah south australia doesnt have any turbo laws we dont even have RWC's or anything like that, just trying to get my head around it all think best option is to keep a P.O box in S.A somewhere and leave it registered here
