hey guys.. my mate just gave me a clean r33 gtr turbo.. as it was doing nothing in his garage... i wanted to ask a couple of questions 1. is it worth putting on my car.. i have a r33 series 1.5 with power fc and a few other basic mods... 2. is it a straight bolt on.. 3. is it a better option when i dyno tune my car with the power fc to put on a gtr turbo.. or it wouldnt make much difference..? thanks to everyone who replies the positives and negatives...

2 mechanics checked it out today..... unique mufflers in belmore/cantebury said i have a turbo/manifold gasket leak... $550 fitted safs performance of fivedock said the same sorta thing and im looking at $350 at safs performance.. both said will take longer then a day.. considering they gotta pull alotta shit outta the way to reach it... still lookin around for a cheaper but rather good mechanic who wont take longer than a couple of days as i do work.. and i do need a car .. anyone know anyone??

the thing is theres all that stock heat shield around the manifold and my intercooler pipes etc etc around where the actual noise is coming from... its more than likely the manifold as the noise directly comes from there.. or even the dump pipe.. but it will b way above near the turbo... if it was the manifold am i better off fixing it or maybe buying an aftermarket one. if so how much would an afetrmarket manifold cost

hey guys... it sounds like i have a hole in my manifold... i dont think its the exhaust... as it sounds directly from the turbo surroundings.. and not from the exhaust below.. whats the best thing i should do.. take it to a exhaust specialist and fix it (im getting quoted a shitload because its hard to reach) or is there any sort of aftermarket manifold i can buy which wil be an upgrade or something like that.. if so what should i look for i have a stock turbo catback exhaust power fc and front mount.. hope them mods help what i should look for... thanks guys

dude... im not dreaming.. i was surprised.. im not saying i THRASHED this evo 9.. im saying rolling start.. with a bit of boost on my end. i kept up to the f*ka.. and im surprised... u can only have 2 thoughts on this.. either surprised or bullshitted.. what ever gets said on the forum i dont giv 2 shits.. i was there my passenger was there.. we kept up with a nose infront and i was shocked.. end of story.. say what u want.. running 3 cylinders... changing at 3000rpm.. i wrote it here to share my surprised reaction.. some ppl believed me some ppl added there 2 c junk but hey thats a forum for u

the only reason why im so surprised.. alot of ppl think stock rb25's are slow.... if they keep up to a 206kw evo the same way i did.. i wouldnt be complaining paying 1 quarter of a price.. the guy that was with me thought i was gna get munched.. and so did i... we both really underestimated the skyline compared to the evo9... i didnt think they would match up.. guess i was rong though
