ofcourse it is! i wouldnt bother puttin it on.. thats why i posted this topic.. asking is this a normal price for a bit of noise of a stock hiflowed turbo... im guessing it is.. but is there cheaper options for it? if so what are they exatcly...and im talking about a smaller wastegate fitted without a dyno tune how much would it all cost me etc etc youd be a dikhed paying 1600 for noise....

well for starters.. i dont think the guy who hiflowed my car put an aftermarket wastegate... i bought it the way it is atm so therefore i dont think its external etc ttc and why do i want one..? cause i love the sound of em.. its not like my car desperately needs one asap or its gna blow up! ive always wanted one.. and now that i have a r33 im gna get one.. so can anyone tell me more info on what sort of wastegate would suit me that wont blow out of precaution with $$$ as my turbo is only hiflowed its not some crash hot t66 that needs a 2g wastegate.. and anyone know who can do a good job fitting it.. around sydney oh yeh and thanks for the peoples critisism.. it got me far..

keep my $1650 because i shouldntneed a wastegate.. or because its 2 expensive...

hi guys.. i was thinking of adding a external wastegate/screamer pipe to my car... so i got a quote off rigoli motorsport.. they quoted me $1650 supplied and fitted... does this sound right? and he rekoned it needed to get dyno tuned as well : : now im not a mechanic but is this overpriced.. or do i have to pinch myself n jump back into reality world....

lol... well i did take the wheel off... and i dont think the hub has to come off... the part that looks ajustable.. is further up where the coils are.. is that right? or am i looking at the wrong thing? it has 2 different winds right on eachother.. i tried to screw them up/down they wont moove...?? was i looking at the right thing.. and then someone told me u need a special tool so i just left it

use will probably say im stupid for 2 things... 1 for not searching and 2 for not knowing.. 1) well it is the first time ive owned a nissan.. and plus theres alot of things i do have to learn about skylines etc.. 2) i couldnt find any topics on adjusting heights... my skyline has adjustable coilovers.. i want to know how i can lower it only at the back as it is a bit too high... how do i do it..? do i need a special tool etc etc.. if neone knows something let us know! thanks guys

found out what it was.... thanks neway guys.. the rattling was because of a loose component in the engine bay... and the pinging was from the dikhed whom i bought the car off... he gave me a full tank of REGULAR unleaded... now its got bp ultimate and its all fine... btw i was running 7psi on a r33 skyline front mount 3 inch turbo back... its all running smoothly n etc.. thanks to the guy who reminded me about premium... i called him straight away n asked the ex owner when he gave me fuel.. what kind etc.. in a way his a dopey but nehow.. thanks neway

YES IT IS!!!! but i thought that was some metal hitting something... what is it dude???

my engine is pinging on boost... and its not boosted the engine runs smooth and theres nothing about it that seems like theres something wrong.. but when i hit past 4500rpm it pings! and its pissing me off it wont boost etc..... what is it and what do i do..??
