  1. I have recently been looking at getting my new line remapped as i had some really good results from my last remap in my previous car. I camer across this on ebay and the add looked good so i thought i would ask a few Q's that were a bit stupid to sus him out Question number 1. Hi Niztune I have an RB20det with a new T88 turbo and stocker injectorz and a big intacooler how much killowatts will i make with your tune and how much better response will i get with yout tune ovr tha stock map HERE is his reply: Response from niztune ------------------------------------------------------- niztune (0) Positive feedback: 0% Member since: 30-Apr-07 Location: New South Wales,Australia Registered on: www.ebay.com Item: R32 Skyline ECU Stage 2 Remap - Niztune Upgrade (250110096439) This message was sent while the listing was active. niztune is the seller. ------------------------------------------------------- well this tune was made with an rb25 turbo so it does have more response then the stock tune but an rb25 isnt as big as a t88 so the question is how much more response do u need, although it will slightly improve ur response. this tune made 195rwkw with rb25 turbo. cheers WOW sounds good yeah.... a t88 is bigger than an rb25 turbo this guy really knows his stuff... it gets better. then I asked this Question number 2 so will i get a better launch an boost quicker with the T88. i dont want to spend my $50 with no results HERE is his reply: Response from niztune ------------------------------------------------------- niztune (0) Positive feedback: 0% Member since: 30-Apr-07 Location: New South Wales,Australia Registered on: www.ebay.com Item: R32 Skyline ECU Stage 2 Remap - Niztune Upgrade (250110096439) This message was sent while the listing was active. niztune is the seller. ------------------------------------------------------- well with a stock engine with intercooler exhaust and rb25 turbo it puts out 195rwkw as aposed to 160 wid stock ecu so i say about an extra 20rwkw at the least 40rwkw at the max. all depends on ur motor and how u'v worked her. cheers HOLLY HELL!...! be so careful who you are buying from over the net, this has got to be the most dangerous thing i have ever seen for sale for a motor. guaranteed to stuff your engine. and i hope the dick wizes up before he kills a fourm members engine. making a fast buck from someone elses stupidity is not on. I just wanted to make others aware. there is a company called NISTUNE that sells some nissan software so it looks like he is trying to steel their thunder. he has also copied his add from another ebay seller word for word. can't blame him fro trying 2 make a fast buck. pass this round we don't need dodgy bastards like this
  2. I would like to know how the timing relates between the CAS and the timing map. What I mean is by timing on the cas is set to 15 BTDC and using my ecutalk it shows 15 deg at idle but as soon as it is revving it shows the timing from the computer map. I am running 18 degrees of timing from full boost to redline. how does this relate to the CAS. If i advance the timing on the CAS to 16 BTDC does this mean I will be running more timing at full boost? Thankyou All
  3. I am thinking of upgrading to a bigger turbo and want to know if the existing remap will suit the new turbo. I am thinking i might need a full retune as the standard injectors will max out at around 210rwkw? I am just after a bit more power and have around $2500 to spend. I was looking at either a gt28rs or a turbo from sliding turbos. would the 28rs be better than the hiflow? the hiflow is $980 and the gt28rs is $1400. that would leave me $1000 for injectors and a retune. Are gtr injectors getting a bit old now? I can get a set for $350. Thankyou All
  4. I have had mine done, as you prob already know from an old therad on here. great results. good fuel economy. I reccomend him very highly. there are a couple of guys I know in brisbane that have had their 32's done with good results. don't know what power figure though.
  5. Good to hear you also got good results! My car is still running perfectly. still very happy with it. the dude should give me a beer for sending customers his way There is a guy that owns a bonkers metallic purple R32 4door with some stupidly huge highmount turbo and I think an RB24??? I can't remember your forum name. Anyways, I spoke to you in Homebush about 3 weeks ago and you said yoshitokio had tuned your beast. Just curious to see how many KW you were making. BTW your car is hella nice I dunno about the GTR badge though
  6. LOL yeah I really need to do that. I dont give a F*#k what sort of power it makes. altho the dyno guy didn't even put the afr's on the printout so i wouldnt put it past him. Car feels heaps faster and runs perfectly and I have had it tested with a wideband sensor and it is fine. s*^t some of you guys are negative. I was just happy with my results and thought I would share. Perhaps next time I will think twice before sharing my mods with others.
  7. What nismod says has some merit to it though. He is right if the tuner is with you at the dyno you WILL get a better result. But I did not want to pay big $$$ for a tune as mine is just a mild upgrade. mabye i could have got a couple more rwkw out of it but I am happy with the results And like nismod says, he can only go on what you tell him. Keep in mind there are litrally 1000s of tuners doing it in japan this way, Including some big names. and yeah it was $150 + $10 delivery + $30 to get the socket soldered in at a tv shop and $80 for the dyno run so all up $270 so the tune was really only half the cost.
  8. Yep is is tuned for the mods you list. and you then go by your self to the dyno to get it checked, He guaranteed me if i didn't get a power increase he would write another tune for me after seeing the dyno sheet. You can get upto 3 seperate tunes sent to you, dyno all 3 and keep the one that suits your car best and send the other 2 back but it costs a bit extra. He was confident he would get it right first time and he did. I have gone through a full tank of gas since the tune and got 460km's to the tank. that was slightly less than i normally get 490kms. But I put this down to my heavier right foot!
  9. I don't have a dyno with AFR's unfortunatly. they were tested on the dyno and I asked for them but insted I got a printout of boost I didn't look till after I was gone so i couldnt get em to print out another one. I did get them checked and even saw them on the dyno computer screen. Yoshitokio is in threadbo of all places. I will email him and tell him there is some interest on this site.
  10. I don't have the printout but i was getting 172rwkw with pinging and the occasional fuel cut ... so about a 30rwkw gain from the tune alone (was able to run 14psi safely) on the new tune
  11. I felt sick today. Cough Cough I called is sick and took my car to the dyno doctor LOL I only did a couple of power runs. I am very happy with the result. The turbotech does a really good job of holding the boost and the new rechip is smack on perfect. I was told it is an excellent power curve. Is it supposed to be done in 4th gear? there was no sign of pinging the air flow ratios were about 12:1
  12. I have had this issue due to the stock BOV recirc hose being split. could be the problem
  13. As long as you get it dynoed. I cant see why not!!! can't loose for around $200. espically is you only want a fairly stock car tuned I am very happy with my results
  14. Hi All, I have been reading this forum for ages and just got round to signing up... I have a 92' R32 GTST and have had it for about a year. It was almost completly stock when I got it and it was my first performance car. It felt hella fast, but now I feel it's wearing off. So I have done some mods and would like some feedback on wether I am missing any bits... Rb20DET R34 Turbocharger Apexi sidemount intercooler (looks completly stock) Bosh fuel pump (400hp) Malpassi Rising rate fuel pressure regulator 3" turbo back kakimoto exhaust with split dump Turbotech boost controller Exhaust cam gear Stock BOV Stock Injectors flow tested Stock AFM I was aiming for about 180 kw and thought that is more than enough for my car as its a daily driver and I don't need any more power than this. I was having a couple of problems relating to the factory management. I was getting maximum air sensing from the AFM at 10psi. I was also getting minor pinging at 4700 to 5200 rpm under quick bursts of accelleration. and my fuel economy sucked. I decided to draw the line on the modifications and I had always planned to get the ECU chipped rather than a power FC due to the cost. and I wanted to wait till all my other mods were done. I have just got a remap done and I am very impressed. I sent my specs and get a new tune sent to me 4 days later. Pluged the new chip in the computer and the car started YAY!!!. I had the AFR's checked via a mates wideband 02 sensor with a data logger. and am pretty happy with the results. It is quite rich from 5500 to 7000 but I guess that is for safety. I got the remap done by this guy because I had heard good things about him from a few mates The car absoutly RIPS now. I am running .9 bar and it is like an animal to drive. it pulls like a freight train and there is heaps more midrange power. The remap only cost me $160 for the tune, $20 to get the ECU socketed and a case of beer for the loan of the wideband 02 sensor. I really want to get it dynoed just to see how much power it is making but I don't really care about a number. Anyway let me know what you think. Have I missed anything? would you add anything else? I am really busy at the moment but I will have the car dynoed over the next 2 weeks.
