Make 500 easy, pending ignition and boost will indicate how far you want to go. Camshafts could be alittle bigger for some extra hp, I changed from 260's to 272's and noticed a mega difference top end. Either way, great street and all round setup.

Unlucky, decent effort, that's 5th gear material lol

Nissan or Gates be your best bet for a cheap one. End of the day you might save $20 hunting around, but these is f**kall margins on these items with Nissan at trade price compared to retail so most prices are around the same, especially after freight. Otherwise spend some extra and get a HKS or Japanese one for a couple hundred.

Rear 32 Gt-R Wheel Bearing
monga replied to monga's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Cheers lads -
The cost to rebuild a stock gear box compared the cost of a good secondhand one is much cheaper. After new Nissan parts and labour it will be near 4 or 5k. Get a replace for about 1k and you will be fine, just don't hammer 3rd.

Need to replace my rear wheel bearing on my 32R, can I do this in the garage or need that press machine? Cheers, Clint.

400RWHP is on the boundaries of the HP Rating for those units, sure it will work but for how long? Going by the mentality of most skyline drivers with 400hp the chances are pretty slim and may last a short while. At 400hp you are moving towards Sports style clutch, super single or multi plate as these are a completely different design using different material, also depending on how you drive and where. Remember most basic twin plates are only rated to 650ps, often people have a misconception about these and think they are for 600rwhp+. Twins however have some negatives as they can't be used for general stop start road use as they will get burnt out because of stop starting ect It's better of spending the correct amount of coin on a decent clutch that will last a few years than purchasing something which may work for a while and then need to be replaced. In saying that most clutches that are genuine have ratings which are under rated, for example the Exedy units have being well and truely pushed beyond what they list and work fine. Just avoid the inferior cheap copy shit and you should be fine. From my own experience I bought a cheap inferior clutch about 5 years ago after my HKS Twin Plate failed with around 400hp, this clutch cost be around $500, after a few launches it was completely f**ked and lasted about 1,500km. Then I purchased a Exedy Hyper Twin and it went 20,000km with 500hp and did not skip a beat till I needed to purchase a HKS Triple which i did recently.

R32 Gt-R Stainless Steel Manifolds

These are a set of stainless steel manifolds to suit a R32 GT-R. They are in near new condition, I've been told they are Tomei but on inspection they don't have any stamps. The design and quality seems much better than some cheaper manifolds on the market and they had some decent power gains from the factory units. Will freight overnight anywhere in AUD. $350 ono. Contact via PM or 0400 207 743 Regards, Clint.

Sure dude, I'll shoot you a pm.

Tunes not going to make a huge difference as I doubt nothing mechanically has changed requiring different fuel and ignition loads. Could removing from fuel from the tune by they generally run lean then shift AFM drops when acceleration occurs, so could get some better fuel economy, but I bet it's something like AFM, o2 ect. I've got a set here that are used, but worked fine previously Eric.

Sick, I'm heading down to Marlows.

Most of the work is often outsourced, as the machining and setting are done at the machining shops, especially the things you have stated. Then returned to the performance shop and bolted back together. If you can do the basics yourself like removing and fitting the motor you will save shitloads in labour. Hyperdrive & Sik Em Wrex would be my choices North and South of the river.

S15 SR20DET are mint, cheap and easy to repair. All workshops deal with them and lots of common knowledge.

Exedy Hyper Twin & Garrett Twins -7's
monga replied to monga's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
All PM's replied to guys. This turbo's are more responsive from their N1 counterparts. Similer to a HKS GT-SS. -
Garrett GT2860 -7'S x2 (R32/R33 GT-R) JA0143J 14411-AA403 707160-7 Mint condition, traveled low KM's. Near new. I had this listed in a previous thread, however on inspection I have discovered they are the - 7 units. They were fitted and only used for 2 months as unfortunately the motor failed so they have been building dust for 10 or 12 months. $1800 Exedy Hyper Twin & Flywheel R32 GT-R Push Style $500 I had the unit rebuilt at the start off the year, I have now went for a triple plate. Since rebuild it has traveled about 5000km. However a clean up and new disc plate will be needed if you have 350/400+ hp or around that as it does slip when I run high boost 500hp+, did not slip on low boost when I had it in my GT-R. Otherwise suitable for low HP applications. I can provide new disc plates if needed for a new cheap twin plate. Per normal freight services interstate are sweet and local pickup's are no problem.
