  1. I'm also very interested to know a few running R32 GTST 10's with 400rwhp, he also is going to be making more power with the nitrious so your claim is irrelevent. VL's sure, with a auto, glide, gears and some slicks. Far from the dudes street skyline. In reality, high 11 or low 12 for the average driver who limited experience at the track in street trim.
  2. Re use 20 year old pistons? Also Eagle rods are about half that price dude My first Eagle set cost $1100 or something. Also, all the machining is a must regardless, as you can't smash another set of 86mm again.
  3. There is some serious cocksmokers around dude, you should have considered doing a brutal shit on their bonnet.
  4. 25neo? what sort of power goals? built motor ect?. Tomei offer several types, depending on what you need the spec can change dude .
  5. Bubba, I'm yet to find a post which does not relate to your RB30 somehow dude lol. Patrick, if you are looking doing it reasonably cheap this might help Arias Pistons + Rings or CP Eagle Rods or Pauter N1 Oil Pump ACL Bearings Crank machined Tomei oil restrictor ARP headstuds Hi Octane baffle kit Head PnP Block Machined Metal Headgasket Shouldn't cost more than $8,000 to $10,000 drive in drive out.
  6. Pm sent dude.
  7. I would like to think that your tuner has enough knowledge about GT-R's before tuning her and what sort of turbo's and power they can run?, also it's pretty simple to take a look at turbo's and see the ceramic compond.
  8. Sent PM's dudes
  9. Plugs or coilpacks. Pretty common with RB's, or the old fuel pump is getting tired. Replace your plugs first, then look at the coilpacks & fuel pump. I've got a spare set of RB pack's if you get stuck dude.
  10. HKS headstopper are good Harry, they are a triple layer design and come in few different specs to suit your needs. I've used them for 4 or so years and they are yet to fail. If you get stuck and can't find one I should be able to help you out. We actually used Cometic one from memory when I first rebuilt my motor and it failed after around 3,000km. However I don't know if the gasket was at fault but the experience had me change and use the HKS product and it's still good after 10,000km's. I think the Cometic cost around $220 and the HKS gasket kit was around $600, this included complete replacements for each of gaskets on the motor.
  11. $165 dudes, it's new and I've just got a new one. Suit R32 platforms.
  12. I sent you a pm, I've got headlights dude
  13. Do you like my massive lip lol.
  14. This is my 34 Vspec in Karratha
  15. Greddy Profec B are great, I run over 500hp and she never jumps over the selected boost and for under $500 these day's they are awesome, they also last ages to. HKS EVC-S are a good unit and also are the Blitz Units, these offer single and dual solenoid options. I've got all off them new dude so if you are interested chuck us a pm. If your on a budget and not chasing huge power the manual one's are fine. I'd avoid china ebay spec one's, don't want that been the demise of your motor so you are better of looking for a trusted product like TurboSmart MBC.
  16. It's the principle the car was driven without the owners permission in circumstances which don't require the vehicle to be moved. Then it was denied, it's pretty simple. If it was going for a tune or a mechanical service then sure it has to be expected. However it's going to get a bumper fixed. Regardless if the car is worth $50 or $500,000 it's the underlying principle and duty of care of the workshop to do the correct thing by the customer. However, we have heard one side of the story and in the SAUWA court of law we require the defendent to speak lol.
  17. I just pm'd you a picture. In working oder Ahmd
  18. R33 S1 Coupe $220 each (Awesome condition near new) R33 S2 Coupe $165 each (Reasonable condition)
  19. Hardly bang for buck there dude, once you have purchased a reasonable condition R32 GTST for $10,000-$12,000 you will require a decent RB26DETT which will cost you minimum 5 or 6k. Once that's done doing it cheap will require the RB25 box which is another $1,500 then install and other small parts required you will be tipping $20,000. Now your still miles behind the cheaper R32 GTR's but handing over the same cash. Picking up a good R32 GTST with the RB25 already installed could be a great value, but there is better newer things available for the dudes $20,000 that he wants to burn.
  20. Depending if the time of sale could be remembered it might be able to be located from the method of payment. But I doubt JPC would be able to give out confidential information like that. Might be a chance though dude
  21. I think it's more respect for the owners vehicle and the fact it was driven without his permission. 80kmph does not seem like much but that's belting first and hammering the start of second around a commerical block for a few laps, especially if you have 2.6km up your selve and in a modified skyline could see you through someones backyard. This is pretty common with young staff test driving car's at workshops. I often set my RPM limit to 2,500 and reset the ODI whenever I visit places that I don't use often and have to leave the car. Might be a idea for the future dude. I'd contact the workshop again in person and speak to the owner.
  22. Any GT-R now with the age of them will cost you money in repairs, minor things like clutches and turbo's are in thousands and even to the extend half or equal to what the purpose price was after a couple of years. GTST or RB25 powered skylines are great value with little cost's in repairs, especially now with some R34 GTT's becoming great value. Owning both the GT-R is amazing to drive but has cost plenty to maintain, while R33's provide reasonable performance without the stress of shitting your pants if you break something and are good value and making 200-300 safe hp. End of the day, you get what you pay for. Finding a cheap bargin might end up costing you in the long run, looking around and paying alittle extra for something that has had the general repairs and upgrades done might save you down the track. So $20,000 with money ready for insurance and repairs would get me a R32 GT-R, $20,000 running on a budget would get me a R34 GTT or R33 S2 GTST which has had a few bucks put into it. Also, get a mechanical check up if you have found something that has caught your eye. These include the compression and leakdown tests while getting a overall checkup of the vehicle and what sort of wear it has had.
  23. That is awesome, be close to one of the highest output GT-R's around the place now. Great work.
