[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
CaBS replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Has anyone stumbles across some solid EFR + SR20 results as of yet? -
[Closed] Borg Warner Efr Series Turbos
CaBS replied to Lithium's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Unfortunately there are very few people around with the time/money to buy both and test them back to back on the same car and dyno. Until there is I guess we'll never know. I've seen both up close off a car before and they're very schmick. I'm curious of the effects the 6boost oval entry into the turbo flange has on a dyno chart. Apparently it increases exhaust speed giving better response but you'd expect it to lessen the flow in the top end? -

Very keen to see how this goes! Hopefully someone does some 7064-IG-TS+SR20 as well so I dont have to be a test pilot incase they're a flop on these engines! -

Really looking forward to some 7064 TS IW Dyno charts aswell as some single scroll ones on some different SR20 setups! Some 6758 SR20 numbers would be very interesting too! =) -

Has anyone seen any results for the 7064's floating around? -
Sorry to hear about this its got to be especially bad seeing it wasn't your car and the attitude of the other party. He could of at the very least offered to pay to tow your car back to Sydney even if only for a show of good faith. The question begs asking what was a big power 300ZX race car on full slicks doing in the same session as a stock MX5 on street tyres?

Slammed But Cant Jack It?

GPS/G sensor based performance meter and lap timer. These are what motor mag etc uses to get their performance stats in reviews etc. Most helpful part of it is it is a datalogger so you can go back over your laps at the track and see what speed you were doing where and where you can improve. It will also display your lap times on screen live down to one hundredth of a second along with your best lap time of the session. The software even works out your best possible lap time by putting together all the best sectors together. Combined with the track vision software (doesn't come with) you can do awesome grand turismo style data overlays on top of your incar footage like so... $750 Prefer pickup but can post at buyers expensive if I have to. Located in northwest syd Please PM if interested. Cheers, Martin. Oh and includes a 2gig memory card. http://www.racerindustries.com/store/index...products_id=613

Sydney, near castle hill. Sorry my bad forgot to post that... -
I have two pairs of super slope ramps I no longer need only used a few times. These make your life a lot easier to jack up your car of its slammed and if you have some decent height in it you can almost get under the car with these without needing to jack it at all. Very handy items. $140 for pair Please PM if interested. Cheers, Martin.

Clearing out the garage of stuff I'm no longer going to use + random stuff and used parts. New EVO Brembo Hawk DTC70 Pads front and rear these are a hardcore track pad. Equivalent of a DS3000 or higher to suit evo brembos. $650 S13 Monkey bar brace used $120 New in the box Nismo GT Pro 1.5wayTT Differential to suit S15 they've been discontinued so are quite rare now. Its the nismo street version of their competition diffs so they have a much nicer engagement than most mechanical diffs which I'm sure some of the members will vouch for! $1670 Brand new front two piece 324mm R33GTR Stoptech rotors these are slotted and curved vein items. $850 the pair New Tein tie rods + rod ends these are a much thicker/stronger items than the standard nissan gear. $300 2x rod ends 2x rods Smart camber tool for setting up your own camber/caster accurately at home or at the track. $390 New Nismo engine mounts these will suit S13/180SX/S14/S15 $430 for the set. Autogauge gauges, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, with sensors and wiring and din holder to suit. $120 for the lot. Cusco 180SX/S13 rear strut brace I've upgraded to a 4 point one. $120 Justjap bolt on 5 stud wheel spacers 15mm $120 noltec tops which are inverted and camber/caster adjustable. Reason for selling is I needed more camber for track work than these could provide. Combine with camber pins and caster rods these could achieve 3 degrees neg and just shy of 9 degrees of caster on my 180sx. $150 hawk DTC60 track pads to fit R33GTR calipers these are a replacement for HT-10 pads and are equivalent to a DS3000 in ferodo pads. As you can see in the pics they're brand new I havent even opened the plastic. $290 front DS2500 pads to suit nissan 4 pot calipers (S15,S14,R33 GTS-T, R34 GT-T, 300ZX) $250 I have a set of rears to fit stock 13/14/15 ds2500s too $200 also have a DS2500 set to suit skyline twin pot rears $230 PM me with any questions. Would prefer pickup but can also send some things at buyers expense.

So your a Rota nazi but have love for ROH wheels? Your just well, strange!
-
The Zero Plus ones look pretty unique? Not sure they'd be a hot seller though...
-
Slightly negotiable on price. Yes these are brand new if anyone is wondering.
-
I think you'll find the brakes actually get alot hotter with the street tyres on. With rcomp rubber your braking harder but for shorter periods its the extra long time your on the pedal with street tyres that causes the extra heat.
-
Wasnt this car on street tyres at superlap?
-
Lazy how does that even respond to what LSX-438 posted? Without any background information they are about as useful as my "large crack xray" pic i just posted. Infact probably less useful cause they dont even raise a smile. I can see your response now in my crystal ball. Its a picture off google images of a random smashed rota with no background info as "evidence". =D

Here is another xray showing a large crack.
