hi all just a quick question .. i am looking at changing my cams in my 34gtt and was after any thoughts on whats the best brand eg.. tomie hks ect... and what kind of perfomance gains are had from this mod with a hi flow turbo, pump,550cc,fmi,power fc and full exaust. what kind of money are the cams worth & what kind of cost is this job to have done. I have been quoted around the $900-980 for a set of tomie type b cams is that "good" or should i look around a bit more no idea what the cost of that is to fit them at work shop but. so any ideas on this would be great thanks .....

hi all , just a small question on sone help with the install of a sard fpr on my r34 gtt the fuel pressure reg it came with (2) blue screw in parts that fit the" fpr " and a adaptor part that fits my fuel rail, is that all the parts i need to fit it . i think maybe some fuel line pipe & clamps will be needed but how it fits to the fuel rail i have no idea i understand that the top part is for the vac and the other two, one is for return and the other is for the rail. i'm thinking i need a nother part to screw into the part that goes into the fue rail adaptor like the blue pice that screws in to the reg.... so to make things clear in this pack i have (1) fuel pressure reg (2) blue screw in pieces and (1) blue adaptor piece with a little black rubber ring is that all i need for the fitting of this sard fuel reg to my r34 gtt.. so any help with would be great i'm a novice at this as you can tell. an install guide for this or an explanation of how it fits together would be a lifesaver.

hi craved. did you get your coli packs in yet .. did it make any change ...

thanks ZERO for the tips, 1st is this nungun an overseas mob or can you contact them in aus i would prefer a local person for these kind of buys so you put your new coil packs in and it did the same thing is that what you are describing .... mate your car has definatley a boost cut at 10 psi with a standard computer i found that out straight away when i got my car and have you changed the spark plugs that could be one of your problems and also your fuel pump for good pressure up high, test it at where you drive it most i have found it changes if you live where it is colder or if you live up from the coast ..

thanks bass junky for the info, did you get your coil packs local with local people or did you order them from an over seas mob and then sent to you. i looked at the 3 you said and i think kudos boys are local to order from gold coast i think.. any help on the matter .. im trying to get them in AU at the best price if possible. thanks heaps

mmm good point, i will have to try that thanks... it is set at 0.8 at the moment from 1.1 it is a pain in the butt hey...

thanks for the info looks like i may have ta fork out some $$$ and put some new coli packs .. but i cannot work out why it runs better at the coast and only some times it acts up, it's more freqent now it is getting colder....

o yes sorry i did not mention yes i have a bov and will play around with it tomorrow and check the packs too. the funny thing is when i take my car down the coast it runs fine, i did that exact thing to put it on the dyno and it did not play up a bit even the stock pump was good for it ,it made 195 kw at the wheels at 14 psi stupid aint'it ......

Hi to all, i need some advice on a problem which by other post sounds quite common in 34's let me first infom you what i have had done recently to my 34gtt $ 6500.00 later i have my turbo hiflowed with trust internals from GCG, 550 cc injectors, apexi power fc computer,full hks super drager exaust,front mount, dump pipe, runnin 16 psi,walbro 255 lt pump, only just put in thinking this may fix my problem. ok here is my problem when at hi rpm say 3500 upwards and anything above 10 psi i get pap pap pap sound like a boost cut sound some times it runs good and some times it runs bad, it was tuned in brisbane and all went fine untill i return home I'm about 900 mtrs above sea level a bit colder temp as per say. if anybody can help me with a solution or advice my mechainc says it now could be coil packs and recomends split fire items at a Cool $ 1000.00 any help would be great thanks heaps ...... :
