so you can get non slotted rotors? any of the non slotted rotors for the GTT?

can you pm me a price on the front slotted rotors for r34 gtr? I've heard others have used gtr rotors and machine it to 310mm for GTT.. do you know if it is safe to do this? Since RDA doesn't seem to be making rotors for the GTT.

would it be safe to machine the rotors for gtr 324mm to gtt 310mm ? if so, are mechanics willing to do so or do I need someone that I know to do it cause of potential dangers if there's any? Thinking of getting the RDA group buy rotors.. but they don't make GTTs. What are everyone else using for their GTT ?

where can I find rotors for a GTT? last time I was at repco, they couldn't find the part no. for a GTT and JustJap sells them for $560 for the front pair. Is that the normal price for stock rotors on these cars or can I find cheaper ones?

yeah.. hehe managed to removed my bar.. today too... had to really shove my hands under the bumper to get the 2 last one out. I didn't need to remove anything behind the no. plate.. think its different for me since its the standard bar but also thanks to Evil34 otherwise I wouldn't have known the bolts in the guards existed.

where can I find kero? is there a step by step guide on cleaning the intercooler core inside out here? cause I can't seem to find it.

I'm trying to remove my front bar at the moment and I can feel there's in between the guard and headlights. It's pretty tight for me to squeeze my hand in there to undo it.. any easier method I should take? Do i need to remove the splash guard completely?

hehe.. it was a blown turbo.. had it replaced last year there was nothing left on the exhaust wheel.. so the cause of that is still a mystery to me since it's been running stock boost ever since i bought it and stayed like that for over 2 years before it shit itself.

I'm confused.. doesn't the r34 gtr vspec 2 comes with carbon fibre bonnet? Does that also makes them illegal on the street even though its from factory?

LOL... Well.. you guys can try sticking your dick in there if you want.. but I used a branch and tried to put it in slowly. It smacked my stick away so I'm assuming that my fan is still strong and it feels like its blowing hard. Maybe I will try a flush first and see how it goes from there.

well I flushed my coolant about 30k kms ago.. not sure if it's time to do it again. But it still looks very clean and green to me. So they can check my water pump without removing timing belts and such?

Are the r34 GTT front rotors ever going to be made? Been waiting on these for over 6months..

Anyone have any overheating issues with their car on these past few days? Mine never had this problem before until a few days ago, my water temp gauge rose to 2/3 of the gauge when it's usually in the middle. So I had to turn off my A/C so that the tempreture can drop back to normal. I thought my water pump or thermostat was failing since it has never happened in the last 3 years of owning it. But this happened to a friend of mine too so I wasn't sure if it's just the heat or something wrong with my car. If this is uncommon, then I will take the car out to the mechanic to check. The coolant in my radiator is still full so that wasn't the problem I think.

how did you fix it? same thing happened to mine but haven't been bothered trying to fix it yet.

i found 2 small cracks on my cooler pipe and abit of black oil is coming out from it. Would it be best to replace that pipe or get it weld up? it is aluminium pipe and the last exhaust place I went to told me they don't do aluminium. They said I need to find a place with TIG welder or something like that. Where can I find a place that can fix this around the northern subs? I also found abit of oil on the corner of my intercooler core where the weld is. Does this mean that my core is leaking too? Can I get this repaired and flow tested?
