i sorted it, rang the police, nothing is coming in the mail. the guy had no idea, i know its not his fault he is under trained, the thing that was so annoying, it was a car load of them, saying that im wrong, and when 4 cops start saying it, u just think about the 7 points off your license lol.. but they shouldnt even pull me over if they have no idea

nah man doesnt state anything? ive been on rta site looking for the thing saying "licenses obtained from july bla cannot have high performance vehicle" i checked it before buying the car so this exsact s**t wouldnt happen, now cause of these clueless cops, i got hassels i dont need.

hey guys. got pulled over tonight, had my p's for 3 years, driving r33 rb25det atm, copper said he's fining me for driving high performance vehicle, argued with him for over 30mins, explaining ive had my license before the law was issued, and im due for my blacks now, just havent had the time to go get them, he wasnt even high patrol, i said mate, "so all the people who have purchased high performance and had there Ps before the law came out have to sell there cars and not drive them?" he said yes and ill recieve my fine in the mail, didnt give me it on the spot, 390 and 7 points, i currently have 1 point remaining, untill my blacks, it was not only 1 cop, i had 4 of them going at me, a whole car load, i think must be newbies training ive searched all over the forum and i do believe this doesnt affect me as ive had them before the law and the car, ive been on rta for an hour trying to find it, cause im gunna have to dispute this fine, but all im getting on RTA is a list of cars that is banned etc, anyone have anything solid so i can dispute this s**t would be greatly appreicated

guys, cant thank you enough for all the helpful replys .. i have a feeling it could be to do with my timing, as ive had it looked at before, and he said it wasnt at the right degress, he rekns its fixed, i still noticed pinging in second at high revs.. i went back to him and said whats going on, he checked it over and said its fine, guess ill go see him again, im gunna upgrade the fuel pump anyway aswell and see how i go..

well i wouldnt call it shaking a can under my hood, i back off soon as i hear it, and i do know what pinging is ......... as for the fuel pump i will try it mate, thanks it is running extremely rich .. i just cant figure out why .. if i drive hard i get 290 - 300km.. if i grandma it, 290 - 300km ,, doesnt make a difference any other suggestions would be a great help

I have r33 series 2 model rb25det .. 3inch exh cat back, triple core radiator, bov, apexi power in take filter is only mods atm, have a fmic to go on .. anyway my question is, i purchased boost controller, upped the boost 2 pound and its pinging, even on stock boost sometimes its pinging around 5-6g in second .. i got the timing and everything adjusted, but still the same. boost is coming on really smooth also, dont feel much force, also im getting 300km per tank, no matter how i drive, sometimes with long highway trips, any answers would be appreciated as its frustrating me.. easily should run 8-10psi without pinging thanks..

yeah bro, i just changed them recently on a car. its under the centre console behind the hand brake, take it off, unplug it and get a second hand one from wreckers, make sure it is off a series 2 though with dual air bags, plug it back in and goto nissan or a good mechanic with the computer to plug into ur car and reset the airbag light.. air bag computer should not pay more then $150 for it, and to reset the light ur looking about 30 - 50 depending who you know !! good luck

did it turn off the airbag light? cause usually you'd have to goto nissan to plug into their computer

have the door handle, $40 might have 1 kick panel - $25 dont have the charcol canister
