ive delt with jetspeed and carmate jetspeed sent me the wrong parts, took me 4months to get my money back, they didnt even send the correct sum of cash back to me, they sent LESS, and i couldnt be bothered arguing after 4months. carmates body kits came to me, damaged, didnt fit, like it was off a completely different car,i took to them, they tried to fix it and f**ked it up, which i had to wait a week for them to refibreglass it, i could of fixed it my self, but when i pay for something to fit on a car, i expect it to. i wont be buying anything off them again lol

hey guys, sorry been away at the snow firstly cut and shut is NOT illegal in NSW, i have to goto RTA inspection before i register the car to check my repairs/strength etc. Silent i will not be doing verticle welds as i previously said ive unpicked it from a factory join under the firewall to do my join. The strength of the car is the same, as all my measurements are back to factory by using the car-o-liner As for the cost of this job for me ill have my car registered on the road for 9g.. believe it or not, does not bother me.. ( but remember im doing alot of labour ) and to the people with the good comments, thanks

that is a stupid thing to say.. i dont recall saying anything about panel shops making them legal and as i previously said i dont know the vic laws nor do i really care.

those cuts on the rail are with the oxy as if im going to join to that ive unpicked the rails to factory joins by drilling the spot welds abit under the firewall i will be plug welding them back up with the mig as i cannot re spot them in that postion no im not cutting near the seats which most people do i am qualified panel beater btw..

this is a r33 series 2 i bought damaged and have been slowly fixing it up this is it when it first arrived from the tow truck pic of it getting pulled apart engine been removed i then purchased another skyline series 2 for the parts which the whole car was f**ked accept the front end i then got my car ready for trial fit of the front end ( doing cut and shut to firewall ) now i have it all clamped into postion and trial fit everything front end is currently getting sandblasted, followed by priming it, then welding on thought some people might be interested anyway enjoy !

just rub out the yellow with wet rub paper, i used 1200grit 1500grit 2000grit then buffed it looks brand new
