  1. have the clutch sorted, looking for other parts still.
  2. thanks mate, i was told the rb30 were to long, but have read that people just cut down the few that are to long when using the 25 head? Can i use 25 arp main studs?
  3. i have tried searching for what main studs to use? i want to use arp main studs, but i'm unsure which ones to use? i was told rb25 ones are fine but just want to double check please.
  4. Nytskys ones are a good quick deal, probably won't find much cheaper.
  5. Yeah it's pretty much like that, except there's witches hats setup to design a course, I think there's about 12 different layouts. Gympie one looks larger in wet area than that YouTube clip
  6. hey Scott a couple questions, What size exhaust are you running? What balancer are you using? i forgot the other ones now lol...
  7. lol there was a v6 vr commy ute thrashing around there for a few events, bought solely for the skidpan only. completely stock. So i'm sure none of us guys will have a problem
  8. Caboolture
  9. Hey Scott, I'm building the 25 30 to lol. It's going alright, just a bit of talking and planning with dan from erd on the best way to go. Since talking my builds already doubled what I though it would. I have a fully built head with a lot of work done to it, just bought an npc twin plate clutch to handle 1000hp at the wheels. Getting under car surge tank made up in progress, working on getting harmonic balancer from Ross, but dan thinks I should look at getting the Ross trigger setup to, which is an extra $2000. So I'm not sure on that one yet, how did you go with your engine regards to timing at 4000 and 7000rpm? No jumping around or anything? And still deciding on oil pump, which will probably be a nitto pump, these are things I didn't plan on the 1st stage of the build but need all the above for balancing
  10. some pictures of the rb30 block and 25 head.
  11. just got myself an npc twin plate clutch, good for 1000hp at the wheels just incase i make more than 700
  12. Long shot but is this still available?
  13. It's easier and better not using the handbrake. And the gympie skid pan is big enough to not use it.
  14. You don't use a hand brake at all for this
  15. Oh ok, thanks, didn't know that.
  16. Will you sell the clutch separately?
  17. So I'm chasing a few parts for my engine upgrade. Rb25det vct cam gear only Aftermarket oil pump or billet gear oil pump Ross balancer to suit r33 rb25 with air con pulley Twin plate clutch to handle around 700rwhp Undercar surge tank to suit r33 Arp rb25 head studs Arp rb30 main studs. Located north side brisbane or will pay postage if it's a good price.
  18. Will also have an exedy 3 puk ceramic clutch available to, feels good and doesn't slip at 400hp. I think it was rated at 450rwhp or a bit more, done about 20000km. Also have a series 2 rb30 block with crank only and sump, with timing belt tensioner mod already done, and a rb25det head that has been ported and polished, comes with standard cams and that's all. Perfect start to build a rb25/30. $400
  19. yeah i'd seperate all that, $3200 for all of it. Condition is great, Only all done roughly 5000km in about 4 years. Will try get a picture soon.
