  1. Rb30 block acquired spare 25 head as well time to order spool kit and hks cams and 2 044 pumps
  2. Should be in maybe +1, last event before rebuild
  3. I might head out on Sunday, don't know what car yet though.
  4. Matty spry at Pitts would be my first choice Efi second choice Current workshop That's my opinion on everything I've heard and read about it.
  5. Still looking...
  6. I love my optima, fits fine do, d34 if I recall of the top of my head. Don't start it for a month with the alarm still armed and starts fine every time. Worth the money if you can stretch that far.
  7. Tint mart did my dual cab for $300 cash
  8. Just wondering did you ever have any timing issues with that much power? Good to see its still going strong.
  9. Yeah looking forward to it, yeah I seen you acquired one somewhere for a steal lol, lucky bastard. Will definitely be keeping a close eye for one. What's your plans for your setup?
  10. Doctor thinks it's a disc rubbing on a nerve, need to go get an MRI now to find out what's wrong. Haha no nod mid coitus either.
  11. 2 weeks off stuffed back
  12. So the time has come to start the conversion! So I am chasing an rb30 series 2 block, what ever you have let me know, if it's already assembled and forged I am still interested. Standard or stuffed 30 block is fine to as it will be getting rebuilt. 100km from caboolture area only please.
  13. Yeah it felt like the time went quick even though a lot of stuff got covered. I enjoyed it and glad I went to it. Congrats tony to.
  14. I do plan on going with speedflow for the fuel stuff. Thanks for everyone's input, but I do hope people keep posting about there experiences.
  15. I think precision and hta are the new standards now if you can. From results I've seen these two brands are just win win over other turbos in all areas. That's only my personal opinion, and my choice is between the 2. I was going to go with Garrett gt40 but have now reconsidered. Good luck though
  16. Shorts and thongs acceptable dress standard??
  17. See you fookers tonight
  18. So I am just wanting to hear both good and bad stories about using eBay dash fitting and hose. I am using all dash 6 fittings for fuel lines and braided hose and have had no problem on normal 98. Dash 10 fitting and hose for turbo oil drain - no problems. Water feeds for turbo dash 6, the heat from the turbo caused it to weaken the braided hose causing a leak, only problem in 2 years. Mainly after experiences as I need to upgrade fuel lines for e85 to dash 8 twin feed from 2 044 pumps.
  19. Wow didn't think it would be that cheap, might reconsider the water meth tune now and just go flex now.
  20. I am 5 minutes from work to. Bodo you could just about make it there by rolling the car lol
  21. Yeah was going to do flex tune for current setup, but 2500 for full retune only to do it again with new motor and turbo and injectors seemed like a waste of another 2500 for flex fuel. Flex tune will happen soon though How much was your tune on what ecu? I'm running the wolf v500 for now but changing to haltech for flex fuel.
  22. Yeah not even 5 mins away, so lucky there.
  23. About to get retuned on water meth, but I'm after opinions on what's the highest boost and hp I should be aiming for? I know it's roughly the same as e85 but not as good so I don't want to push it at the same level as that. I wanted to push it hard but not over the limit, the tune will switch back to normal 98 map when low level is sensed for safety. It's a stock rb25det with all supporting mods.
  24. Rpm performance does all my work, happy with them and very knowledgable, bit pricey though
  25. I was going to do e85 flex fuel, but it's not worth the tune when I'd have to tune it again after new forged rb30 and bigger turbo
