New Turbo...Set at 1 Bar via actuator. This is your next step. But if you really want some fun..... Turbo Computer Tune That is provided your maintenance schedule is up to date (ie timing belt..fuel pump...) and you have some good supporting mods such as oil cooler and maybe a larger inter-cooler.

Oval Style Mufflers (non-cannon)
700HP-GTR33 replied to gtrzilla's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have gone through this a few times. It is expensive to get one built here....especially if you want it all stainless..which is the only way for a Turbo car. You have the mid muffler and a large rear muffler to source firstly. The width you can choose for your mid muffler is limited. The space for the rear muffler is great except for the fact the pipe needs to do a circle back to enter offset. Both these problems make choosing a good set up very difficult. For GTR's that is Buy a Full import item and save head aches http://www.nengun.com/kakimoto-racing/full-mega-n1 Don't worry about having an oval shaped dog...especially if a round dog you have is quiet. OH....If you want to get some money on your old exhaust I will be most happy to buy it from you. This will help your finances. -
Hope this helps...lol......you have the wrong inlet cam.... http://www.nengun.com/hks/camshafts-nissan

Are you running the stock fuel pump....? Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.... How does it cut out......... Does she miss-fire and become all jerky or is it just like she slows down ? Miss-firing etc..is coils, spark gap, timing and afm related. If she just slows ....it is fuel and boost leak related. Hope this helps.

Stick with stock rails.....they have better mounting and supporting brackets. less likely to cause fuel delivery problems in the future. R34NRG............ ... Maybe we need some sleep

150 Rwkw On A R32 Gtr! (update 6 Apr)
700HP-GTR33 replied to Styline GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Check the faults in the computer.. Check your fuel pressure..... Check your injectors...have them cleaned Check your cat... Check you have boost...and no leaks. If they all are correct....borrow or buy a second hand stock computer..plug it in and see if this fixes your problem. Good luck with your find.....hope it is just as simple as a cat or a blockage in your muffler. -
150 Rwkw On A R32 Gtr! (update 6 Apr)
700HP-GTR33 replied to Styline GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
A faulty blow off valve and the way you have described your fix firstly has to be corrected. Then get a new cat..if it is faulty. You will then need to reset your computer...I think you are in limp mode -

Yes you have just listed..... ECU $800..Tune $800, Exhaust..$800 Fitting $200 Clutch $1315 "Approx Jim Berry Type" Fitting $500 Let me see.........$4500 odd of mods.... :laughing-smiley-014: Do it to many times on a GTR32...and your Turbo's will die..your fuel pump will stop..your timing belt will snap..all causing major mechanical problems. Unless off course you have upgraded all these. Let me see...another... $5000 -
150 Rwkw On A R32 Gtr! (update 6 Apr)
700HP-GTR33 replied to Styline GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Have you got boost? Does your blow off valves work? Could be a vacuum leek....maybe...could even be your fuel pump. AFM's could be faulty...when you say sluggish...do you mean non responsive? There are alot of things that can cause this....even dirty injectors. Maybe..it is just a stuffed cat..... -
150 Rwkw On A R32 Gtr! (update 6 Apr)
700HP-GTR33 replied to Styline GTR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
How does the car feel? Dyno's can read low. On the other hand 1/4 mile figures don't...especially for a GTR. Take it out to a local drag strip.....if your in the mid 13's....your on the money. The truth is...your engine could be great...but your engine management is set to run all RB26DETT motors. If you want your car stock...get a good exhaust..this will free up some more power. If you want 12's in your car or even 11's..a lot more needs to be addressed beside just slapping in a computer and tuning it. -
I see no reason why you could not use after market injectors on this Plenum."provided they suit your motor". Here is a link to a discussion on this topic , I am sure it states you use your stock bottom and top fuel rails. http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthr...3654&page=2

Could you list your mods please so we can determine what sort of power you should be getting. Thanks -
Yes..correct Ash. I am all for what you are saying. Assuming.....A 100% history of the car is available..and the Turbo's have not seen more than 100K of service. Lets face it ceramic /exhaust wheels are not the most reliable things to have stuck on a 250KW GTR even RW. some_cs_student The tune you have is great...and the quality work your tuner has done for many on here is un-questionable. I was just trying to say that if I had a GTR33 "Which I have" and it still ran stock Turbo's "Which you are", this is one of the first recommendations I would have suggested before your tune. My advice to you still stands. Change your Turbo's

Not now........the Australian Dollar is sitting Pretty at 93 US cents and this is only going to increase in the next few months. the talk about town is in 6 months we will be equal to the US Dollar. Nissan needs to re-visit its $ conversion rates for Australia, as the time nears to its delivery. The pricing should reflect the great currency surge and the poor US slump. I mean....last talk to a few in the States put the GTR at around $60K US on the road....lol OK NISSAN...stop playing games cause it will only bite you on the bum when the whole thing goes ASS over. TELL US...what price the car will be on sale in Australia...IN Japanese Yen..... This way we can work out what the dollar value of the car will be.....I mean this will be much simpler. I don't buy anything...unless I know what it is going to cost me.... FFS...are we just considered lame because we are in this so called...(Small Market). If that is the case Nissan...don't bring them in at all...we will just buy then 2nd hand in 2 to 3 years time... You know..it might pay to visit Japan for a year...buy a GTR..then bring it to Aus.... Has anyone done any conversions on this..I am sure you will be saving..1/2 the cost..at least. Nissan .....Wake up...We are smarter here than you think.

I would be close.....imagine...a stock R33GTR vs McClaren...not a contest

-
yes..so true...at $188K....lol... I would go R34GTR..40K mods...and have another 100K to spend on other things... just my 2c worth...hope its not that pricey here when it lands.

Myth- busters took all the products on By memory none worked .... The new digital cameras using software can by-pass most films or sprays on the number plates.. Yeah...try it with some-one elses number plates... :laughing-smiley-014: How are you to know if he gets booked..ask him or her

You can't Quote 206KW's for the last Nissan GTR34 ...Gentle-mens agreement and what-not. It was more like 260KW's..and that was without a good computer. RB20..25...26...motors were dropped because of their emissions(Not meeting new standards)...Nissan just got the R34 in production before the cut off date...luckily for us. So most of what you are talking about is flawed. If you had a N1 R26 Block..Forged N1 Bits and pieces...N1 Turbo's..555 injectors, any current plug in computer..and slapped a DSG box in a GTR34 you would more than likely eat the new Nissan R35 alive. I am sure you would be able to tune this for 320RWKW's(Safe)and then if you applied the Power to weight ratio.... Enough said......

Help Needed Identifying Car

Thanks.... I think it is a model issue.....M35 as stated was not in the original "fast" listings..so thus no response or failure to retrieve the info.... At least this is where I think the problem is....but...having said that.......I know that most vins have 17 digits.... and I only have 10.... So what are the rest of the missing digits for a M35 Stagea...ie...the last model before this had 6u900WG at the front of the Vin....
