  1. The discussions were if I am not mistaken, that the gtr was on the wrong end of 150K. Thus above 150K.. Correct me if I am wrong..but most who have made deposits have been told this...

  4. OMG...another thread that started good and ended up with... I like DSG I don't feel good without a clutch I want my mummy. Guys.....harden the f%^k up. $80K...US..why are we gonna pay 180K(AUS)...please explain Nissan. they might need to adjust the price to more 130K ish.. Oh by the way, the Bugatti Veyron does 0 to 100in 2.6 seconds but only goes a 1/4 mile in 12.5.... It is interesting that Nissans DSG must be slow..3.5 second..but 1/4 mile in 11.7. Explain how DSG works again...???? I still beat them..lol....$140K less than a GTR spent. $1650K less than a Veyron spent 0 to 100 in 4 seconds..slow I know...but I have no...what do they call it?..lol...oh DSG system !/4 mile in 11.5 So it takes all that money to come up with this....let alone all the publicity. Give me 100 Million and I will build you a car...oh..not Homers car...lol

My predictions was close to 200K about a year ago..most just laughed... SO BE GRATEFULL FOR THE OZZY DOLLAR GUYS

  7. 20K buys you a GTR32 with some mods. A good body kit..fresh paint and you have a beast every one adores. If I were to do it over again...I would have choose a GTR32 Vspec II . Given it a respray(Silver or Gunmetal my favourite). Nice deep dish rims with chrome edges.. Worked motor...tuned for road. I did not because I could afford a R33GTR..and my Nephew had a Gtr32..lol But having said that...each to their own...do what your heart wants...just make sure you drive it everday...

In a few years to come....maybe 5 to 10 even earlier....when all the newer model cars have hit the road,,the VS will look ancient and outdated, everyone will be looking at you as though you are causing all the Worlds pollution problems. The Skyline on the other hand is seen by many young and old of today as a iconic vehicle.... having purpose,style and character...having purpose(GTR) but yet being able to be driven daily. Lets face it.....2 door..coupe..good lines etc etc etc....versus...4 door..sedan..boat shaped. You are like comparing a track car to a shopping car. Put them on the 1/4 mile...put them on the track.....skyline looks better..feels better..handles better... and most of all gets the chicks...lol. Keep your car...Its the real deal.
  10. Some tuners do not know how to fit a boost controller in...trust me. You will need to re-set your boost controller. This is what happened to my AVCR...after a few weeks I lost power and boost. Anyway...you may need to take it to another tuner for more in-sight into whats going wrong. Hope I have been of some help.
  11. How much extra is the top up? Your choices are in $$$$$...everyone would swap.. If you could afford a 34GTR..why not..go for it. The problem is ...you have spent time and money on your ride and still not used it. That alone says your just doing it because you can. You don't need a ride...your after a statement.....at least thats what I think. If I were you...sell the gtst..sell the car your driving now...buy the gtr34 and use it...mod it as you go...no 1 month in for this..or..paint work 1 month..engine work 2 monthe..etc etc...and end up not driving it for 1 year like the gtst....lol Just use the car,drive it and enjoy it. Enough said

  13. +1 with Ash.....it really sucks watching Bathurst. I would prefer to watch Indy 500 even though they are just going around in a circle. Anyway...here it is...take a gtr34..strip it down to nothing...spend (What is it they spend on these machines each?) Ok..lol..$200,000 . Ok..spend this on a 34..all forged gear..etc etc etc...800hp(usable) tuned for track work. Remember though.....a lot of advancements came out for the gtr well into the late 90's. Computers...suspension..bolt ons etc etc..have been improving since the end of the races the gtr32 had here. I would guess you would be 250 Kilos lighter than the V8 Super-cars with a greater power to weight ratio..on a 4 wheel drive train..outdated yes....but still able. Why do these people persist in continuing this madness. Super Charge a 3.5 litre ..slap it in a Ford or Holden...give it AWD and presto...safer cars..less young hoons killed on the road. Enough said....

  15. How can your tuner/ fitter for the cams give you a fixed price for the cam installation? Do you know if your going to need new shims..or that maybe it might be time to change your springs? Or maybe you might need to change the retaining bolts(Cam fixing bolts)? BTW..hope you have cam gears... Have you read up on cam installs? $300 sounds like a..drop in don't worry about clearances..same shims..hope the motor still is ok once it leaves the workshop. Please keep us posted with the cam install...all the rest of the fitting are just bolt on....cams can be a little more tricky. EDITED: Bad Grammar
  16. For good low and mid range response..that is for street use Poncams 9.15mm lift are the way to go for you. Some say these cams should have come with a gtr to start off with. These cams are good for all after-market turbo's in a gtr and run with your standard computer as well(just in case) Do a search in the forced induction thread and read some
  17. I am just feed up with people who want a gtr..but has to be Nismo V spec. or V pec2 ffs. Firstly..if you had a nismo gtr32 it would be valued more than a gtr32V spec in good condition..expect to pay 35K So stop dreaming and buy a gtr32(stock)..any spec By the time you finish with it..it will have cost you more than 40K..but you will have confidence in it.

  19. You will need at least 1000k's to break it in.... Then you will need to drive hard every time you see it playing up. Most of us who use these clutches..whether it be Jim Berry or Nismo drive around in traffic Once in a while you need to give them a hard time so they come good again. In your case it is new...take it easy till you bed in your flywheel. I have a Jim Berry one and I have problems with it when it is cold...bites quick like the way you are saying. The worst problem is when I drive a standard car for a while then jump into mine...always end up stalling it on take off the first two times.... ...but can't help it..the foot just comes up..not expecting that force.
  20. Did you fit any oil restrictors? You have way to much oil being pumped up I think this may be your problem
  21. 20B would be better... Not that I know a lot about conversions. Is the idea like it has always been......slap a 6 or small 8 into a car designed to take a 4? Why is a gemini a choice in the first place? Is it because it has a large engine bay? Is it because they are cheap? Are we just looking at a light weight car and shoving the biggest donk into it because we can? Reason why I ask these questions is...I personally would choose a different car. Why not a Jag or BMW?....Or a Saab? Quite frankly I would like some of these cars benefit from a little more horse power :laughing-smiley-014:
