It could be far worse...stop crying your cars are only worth so much because thats what you have been offered. :) If you had bought a Monaro Fully optioned for 95K...5 years ago and have to sell it for 45K now. If you had bought a Porsche,BMW,Mercedes you would have lost 40% of the cars value in 5 years. Sure if you want to keep it for 40 years...it will be a collectors item...and worth good money. Personally I would strip what I could off the car(that is if you don't want it no more) and sell it to the highest bidder. Where have you advertised your car?..I am sure you have not covered all your market Good luck with your sale....

Yes I am Trav..like most with them bolted on... . But then again...I have upgraded nearly everything. Stock Engine and no supporting mods.....-5's will be an overkill.

Its really funny,everyone has a 130,000 km gtr32(89) LOL. Let me see....20 years old....divided by 130,000....6500KM's per year.... Let me do the calculations again...yes.....6500kms a year. <I believe in him too. Fuel pumps,oil pumps and all the other things discused on this Forum just don't give up at 130,000 Kms...wake up and smell the roses boys. OK..fun stuff over... Drive the car until its motor dies.......it is more cheaper fixing it once than fixing things so it does not die. But if you want: Get all your oils replaced...gear/box ,engine,brake etc etc.......use the one's mentioned in this forum that have made people happy. Change your fuel pump,timing belt and turbo's.....not to ceramic second hand ones...you have no idea how many k's they have done either... My thoughts on Turbo's...throw them out after 100,000..in your case..you are at least 30000 overdue.. Buy -7 or -9's in the garrett...bolt on and don't look back Happy motoring.

1- Try a new bolt. 2- If that fails get it re-tapped. Does anyone know who sells a quick release valve for this purpose?It would be good to get one fitted and stop this sort of thing ever happening in the first place. Good luck and hope the new bolt will fix your problem.

I don't believe lag will be a problem with those cams dialed in correctly. Expect turbs to start spooling around 3K.. 560BHP...no problems with the set up in question....-5's fitted to a worked and tuned motor cannot be beaten on track. It will be responsive and will handle lots more horses than you mentioned.(running 1.3 Bar). If you go to 2 Bar set on the boost controller..and you have a reliable motor to handle this, I would guess..on race fuel, you would have 700+BHP Good luck...and post up your results on the RB Turbo upgrade.

Yes and No In the long run..a R32 will be the cheapest and then R33 more expensive and the 34GTR well lets just say it will be the equivalent of A GTHO Phase III...and this is in any form..worked or original... So..if you want a Gem..get a GTR34...and lock it up. My 2c... Yes a bit off the topic...LOL

"They will make"...not the correct wording... Turbo's do not make the power.....lol They will support....yes. Max that is....350hp each..total of 700Hp This is not at the wheels also. Any larger than the -5's will see you in lag town....unless you have increased the capacity and put a set of poncams in. Expect to see max...around 350Kw's at the wheels with the right mods on a stock motor on 1.5 Bar. Good luck

What we have here...is a failure in communication. Government bodies believe they have the power to make changes without consultation. These changes occur and become law...wtf...without even having any talks with bodies like SAU. Roy...yes Nazi Germany..not thin..just telling you how it is. How can you enforce a policy without actually doing any surveys/researching/consultation etc etc.... Suppose this is what lead to Steve Bracks early retirement. Bracks had a interview the day before he retired where he stated a decision was made to go ahead with the desalination plant and named the town....the media drilled him about the way he conduct the government. Locals were shocked...no consultation or report was made into the inpacked it would have on the community of the town and its people. The procedure should be..consultation..pros and cons..understanding and reasoning...Then a decision. This is totally off the topic but represent the way the Vic State government do their jobs....yes pretty poorly. We have got what I would call a military type leadership here..and if we are not careful a push bike and a 100cc smart car is all we will end up being able to drive. Now if you ask me.....Young drivers think they are super hero's. They feel they are never going to crash and burn...so being arrogant and with no or little experience think the are indestructible....problem being they take other lives being dick-heads as well as their own. So no level of driver training or crap will help a lot of them...it will encourage them to drift and speed even more . Politicians have no choice in handing out this heavy handed treatment to them....although the consultation and debating part of the decision making is authoritarian and resembles the Nazi tactics back in Germany.

Happened to my car on the dyno..the dip stick blew out.... I was told it was crank pressure build up...and the fact that the stick wears(the spring) over the years and just can't hold any pressure at all. Get a new stick or tape it down for the time being until you can get another stick. Which reminds me...should go past Nissan to pick up a new one.

Turbo...computer..tune...then drive...with your mods anyway.

I could almost bet it is your plugs playing up....... My nephews car would just stop....he would have to wait until it cooled down then drive it back home...lol I replaced his plugs...and presto....no more stops. Replace your plugs.

After market computer........and tune... my 2c

Check you have fuel pressure... Then check your plugs.....you could have flooded the motor with fuel. If they are ok...then your powerfc may have to be tuned...because if it reset..the injectors would have not have been entered...nor your afm.... Hope this is of some help...

I am sure you could have mined the ore...sent it to japan.. poured a new block..sent it back to Aus. bought the bits....put it together..tested it and sent it out in 6 months... . Guess they must have lost the ore in Japan..
