  1. Interesting...I think it makes a difference if you have a daily drive or a weekender. Starting up every morning and night..especially when she's cold draws lots of fuel..let alone running around to bank or what not. While a car thats driven twice a week..weekend..less traffic.no need to hurry.etc etc..uses less fuel.
  2. get a Blow off valve..fix your problem... Then you can install a speaker in your engine bay..that is linked to a Ipod in the car..connect it to your clutch pedal. You can have...cows moowing... Cats meowingggg. Dogggssss barking...... and chickens (I don't know what they do)..... and oh..monkeys..doing sounds like monkeys do..LOL Change the tune everyday......it will be great for laughs

  4. Get a second hand AFM.... If that does not fix it......try changing your TPS...then sensors as a last resort..unless you can get them cheap.. You will need to change your tps.....in the short future anyway..due to age of car. It can also be an electrical fault..or computer is playing up..some can get that way...If you can find one to plug in..second hand and see if this fixes it. Could also be pressure drop in fuel...check your pressure lately?Or injectors get sticky....and clogged..try some fuel additive......EDITED:(This is an add on).
  5. Do not take this as a joke.. . Some say that there are certain places on the Earths surface that have a magnetic anomaly... (A word I have always wanted to use) This causes cars to stop..or..electrical faults to occur. It can also cause drivers to fall asleep or faint at that point..causing major problems...even accidents. These spots can change or can always occur constantly at one point. :laughing-smiley-014: Heard of the Devils Triangle? This can explain..all of the faults we experience in our cars.. and we can blame these anomolys(twice in one night..yippi) I am not in anyway in charge of myself at this point..so whatever I have said should not be held against me.   6. Unless.....you have the parts to convert it back to stock... And..there is some one here in Australia with a compliance for the car. Here we go.. Get them in Japan to bring it back to stock for you...fill up a few boxes with the parts they took off..,,put them on after road registered. Then you can...make it a registered car....NOT STREET LEGAL THOUGH..LOL Could not resist...

  8. I like......But 80K... Maybe with the dollar getting to 88 cents US.....we might get it for the price of the IX...65K..if i recall. KEEP YOUR SKYLINES........LOL.......TURBO FUN AT A 1/5 of the price.... GTR32's will increase in value when this comes out. Anyway..love to see it in real life..looked much narrower in the pics of old..

  10. Hello everyone, I am chasing the biggest Nismo rear muffler,(Oval), I can find in Stainless Steel.(GTR33) Must be 3 Inch off set in...and 3 Inch centre out. Will need to know sizes...(18Inch long/ 13x9inch Oval) would be ideal. My ears have had enough..lol.(am currently running a hot dog"cannon") If you like..pm..or email me... Thanks in advance
  11. Hello, They will have the bucket of parts to convert it back to stock already. They bring them in..change the parts for the compliance agent. Then after the certificate..they put back the parts..if they are ever asked the question..how did it get all mod up..they say..that the client wanted some after market bits put on.(Their safe) Easy..this is how it is done..if you don't know already. On the way they take out the valuable parts and sell them..and replace with others that are less expensive. My computer,cams,boost controller,front eye lids(C/F) were taken this way. This can cause lots of problems in the future..some leave HKS cams in and leave the standard computer on, selling the after market computer for 500+ dollars or more. Or in my case.....put back standard cams without measuring shims up....luckily I am not a lead foot. When I had Poncams installed...they said..some ones been around in here. 24 shims needed replacing... Anyway..my 2c 's worth.
  12. Measure up the size of the exhaust..give some specs on here..then you will get some more info. Without sizes and specs..it is hard to tell you if it is good for further power upgrades or restrictive Take care

  14. Re-set your ecu..this may help.... I am unsure if you can get a re-tune on your ECU..or even get a chip for it. Good luck..hope some one else can help here.

  17. What air-flow meters are you using? Also depends on who tuned it and if it is a happy dyno... I would guess.....290kw's@all 4 wheels if you have changed afm's.......if not...no more than 270.. LOL..yeah..read the sticky..lots of these upgrades there...
  18. It has been done...yes.. There is a thread about all the F%^k ups they had. Don't do it..even if you have them for free. Buy a bolt on to suit the motor...as Ash has said.. Cheers

  20. Lately I get 350k's per tank. Before the cams and the afm's..I got 450k's per tank. Before that...I use to get 550........ This was all daily driven..with some freeway use.

You may want to also buy these parts http://www.nengun.com/tomei/cam-bearing-cap-studs http://www.nengun.com/tomei/valve-springs http://www.nengun.com/tomei/valve-lifters http://www.nengun.com/tomei/valve-guide This is why I choose Poncams(although I did replace the stud caps only)..the greater the revs and lift..the more money you will need.
  22. Well maybe they did make that size...not 100% sure..if they did ..then no springs required. But if they have the lift of the ones they make now...256...with 10mm or 10.5 mm..then I would suggest the springs... That is my suggestion..

Here is the springs you may need http://www.nengun.com/hks/valve-spring Are those cams a step2?...Cannot find them here. http://www.nengun.com/hks/camshafts-nissan But judging by the duration and lift I would say..No you don't need new heavy duty valve-springs...because you lift is not high. Looks like they could be the 2202-RN175 Units om the bottom of that...anyway..make sure you know what they are before you go to install them...you will need to measure up and accordingly get the right size shims....
