  1. All the above can be true..... It can also be your afm....at fault..etc etc I have a stereo,aircon,lights and all the goodies in my car....I was always missing at night at 3700rpm. Changed the battery to a heavy duty type...biggest I could fit and walla...no miss It sound like an electrical fault....could be loom,coils, etc etc...not to mention battery Good luck....
  2. As Ash has stated mid muffler rear large muffler 3" in and 3" out for both. good mufflers cost big bucks.....so the more you pay..the better they get Cheers
  3. Buy in bulk...you have a gtr...1000 lots..in big boxes....20 cents each. You will go hungry.......if your planning on keeping it......

  6. oh?...could have said that at the beginning..lol turbo,injectors,fuel pump,fuel regulator,pfc,boost controller and tune. $3500 parts...labour to fit and tune...$1500 to $2000.

  10. Did you check if you had petrol..lol. Could be your pump...is there any noise coming from it when you switch the ignition to before crank? good luck...
  11. A well tuned responsive car at 290kw at the wheels is a better drive than a car that pushes 350kw does not get any traction on lift and goes on like a pig. It is about the package...not the power....especially if the tuner gets his results at 1.5bar+ and 8000rpm using nitro.....lol...a bit over the top...but you all know what I mean I would suggest to you...a new turbo....a set of cams...and a good tune for street work......
  12. -10's correct... they are rated to support 400hp each...800hp in total. This is at the motor, and not possible obviously if you have stock everything.. Your set up was probably with -10's already. The HKS 2.8 stroker kit + the cams would have been very responsive...shame the whole thing went bang due to the oil pump. Which type of turbo are you running? As for the biggest low mounts for a gtr..I was sure the -10's were...I will look it up and get back to you. Cheers
  13. Oil pump....coils....turbo's.....Main problems.. Then comes fuel pump...afm's.....water pump....timing belt...timing gear bolts..... And then...who tuned it... That about covers it I think...LOL
  14. No it is all good.......it is hunting back and forward..like mine..... You will find if you drive it for a 20 to 30 seconds and stop the revs will be be over 1000rpm at idle when cold. I have the same thing happening...lol
  15. Can the power drain on the battery cause this? I have had this happen to me...twice so far. On cold nights....my heater,power fc,AVCR ,air purifier..stereo/amp/sub...lights...are all on..... Can the drain in the power and a bad battery be at fault. The battery in the boot is tiny and due to workshop downtime has been drained at least 10 times.... The only thing I think that keeps it firing every morning is the turbo timer charging it the night before..lol It sounds like it is electrical...if you know your battery is good...check your coils....spark plugs. This can also be a AFM fault.

  18. OK...have got in contact with an exhaust manufacturer in Melton. Am going to see them some time soon.....they will measure up the area I have to play with. Design what I want......manufacture and install it....... Will keep you all posted.

    Nismoid...post up the names....please...it is what he wants...does he not? He asked and surely there is nothing her can say about it...am I right? He wanted to know who he scammed....told them he will refund 120% of the money... I can't believe he had an answer for everything...lol..
  23. What filter are you running....it is an air intake noise..is that correct? Are the turbo's new? Do you run a boost controller? Are both turbo's set at the same boost at the actuator? Is it a flutter type of noise ? Have you ever cleaned your intercooler? Lots of questions, but unless I hear the noise and experience the ride at 3000Rpm I am unable to attempt to answer your problem.
  24. Hi, Should not idle at 1800RPM....who tuned it? The tune could be on Jap fuel...some say this does not matter...but trust me,once you get a tune on a fuel type...they recommend you stick to that fuel. Get a service and tune off some one who is familiar with the microtech unit.......which part of town are you from....can recommend if I know where you are. Anyway don't push it past 6000Rpm until you are sure all is running well.. Cheers
