  4. Thanks Paul, I have Bought Rb25afm,s(Second hand)....How long are the intake pipes on a RB25?...don't have much room. Then I need to make up special Brackets. Nismo afm's would be the best bet...don't need to change piping etc. Who has stock of these? Why do we do this to ourselfs...... ?????????? Constantly wanting more power......getting all flustered and that. Anyone got a set of adapters? Or Nismo Afm's sitting around. Why?...Why?,,,Why?

  6. Need either a air intake kit...complete for a Z32AFM(RB25,RB20). NEW OR USED Or need some adaptors...if anyone has them to fit the standard intake. New or used Thanks in advance Tekin
  7. Hi all, I have struck a problem with installing the RB25 AFM's, on my gtr...currently have Tomie intake. Bolt pattern is different and so is the size. Does anyone know who make the adapters? Has anyone done this recently, the older type air intakes apparently had two flanges....is this correct? Need an answer by tomorrow. Thanks in advance Edited for those who read this in the future. Justjap imports in NSW has a Adapter to fit a Z32 or RB25 AFM and reduces to 3"..... Cut the original air intake....buy a silicon hose and two clamps 3" and connect them up

  11. I got my ones in from Nengun....They came in a box with manifold and Dump pipe gaskets. They were branded HKS on them....There were no dints like the one you are showing me on them. Did you get them in the box from HKS or did they just send them to you like that...in their own box? And secondly do they have HKS markings on them? Just curious...HKS Has a good reputation and QC....wonder if they have left one slip.

  13. Did you replace the braided oil lines?(To turbo's) And if so......did you go one size smaller? Reason I posted up the previous remark was in concern for your motor.....I know what you were asking. Hope I have helped.

  16. This can also be caused by resistor pack and wiring to the resistor pack. Or even earthing of the resistor pack. Most get a lot of heat over the years and need some attention. You will know there is a problem when you operate the air-con.(at idle) and it misses regularly.
  17. All new Garrett Turbo charges have a restrictor build in on the oil intake. Adding one in the line does not make any difference(Just piece of mind) and does no harm to the turbo charger. The problem that RB26zcar is having is high Oil pressure caused by incorrect research into re-build . Some one has got it wrong when fitting these Tomie oil restrictors. Blow by will be large when racing this car...you might need to add a larger sump extension and a larger than life oil coolerto increase the volume of oil..thus decrease pressure. This will also help with continuos supply of oil to the head. Top head pressure can also be decreased I believe by opening the oil restrictors closed on RB26 Heads. I believe this topic has been discussed before(Oil flow)...do a search. Do not run the car in its state......you have been advised incorrectly on the build.

  19. What he is saying is...the Tomie oil restrictor is adding to the pressure you are experiencing.
  20. It is not a failure yet...don't drive it...get it out and rebuilt it now...cost you alot less.
  21. You payed the insurance...get the best job...don't pay these mobile guys to do a patch up job. Get the real paint job...then you might want to keep it.
  22. It sucks like most of the laws....but..they all(Authorities) want to make $$$$$$..the more charges the more mulla. I see lots of people driving this way everyday...and they are doing the speed limit... Some people drive this way all the time...they have no idea what is going on around them...luckily we look for them and stay clear. It is when two of these people come together on the same street they have an accident. Why don't the authorities take some action when they see an old man/women or dum driver doing 25 in a 60 Zone...thats dangerous. And what about the people who brake first(hard) then indicate. Sorry dude.......your in for some fines...court apperances and more fines,not to mention your legal(lawyer) costs. This is so they can advertise more to say we are cutting the road toal.
  23. People who do these sort of things shit me. PM me if you want to know how it can be fixed for nothing. You might even be able to make abit on the side.   24. On a serious note....could be your gear-box Give it a service...renew the oil A.S.A.P. Redline Lightweight Shockproof Burson's sell a 5L container for $120Approx.
  25. They are a direct bolt on....which type do you have..-7,-5,-10????? Each are different.
