  1. i can get my son to draw me a graph and read 1500Hp@17000RPM Also...There has been no mention of cost on fitting and extra bits and pieces you will need.. Buy one already with HP....saves you lots of time and money OH great list...but I think you forgot the Turbo's...or Turbo
  2. I think it has been done many times before. In fact just before the gtr35 launch top-secret had one to stick the finger up to Nissan. They also slapped the 3.5 350Z Motor into a gtr with Turbo's Shabs....you need to look at what you are after first...before you experiment with the thought of it. Or on the other hand get some custom panels to make a gtr look like a 350z Sure this is cheaper
  3. Lowering timing values even by one degree half the knock count. Sure also can be the gears sending vibes threw. What sort of computer do you have? You can take notes as you drive....if you have a map tracer. Then alter timing lower by a degree...that will solve your problems.

  5. Hello Shabib67, You will need to look at...Fuel,Oil,Water,Air( Intercoolerand turbo)movement and upgrade all these. Upgrade your bottom end to RB30,get the motor dipped and cleaned. Make sure you line the internals for oil movement. Then port and polish,rebore,larger pistons,hks step2 or 3 cams with correct head gasket. Go the single Turbo. By this time your motor will be close to 3litres. Crank(Shot pinned or upgraded"TOmie") and larger sump with baffle is needed. If you are looking for a realiable machine,brakes,diff,gearbox,clutch,tyres and suspension all need replacement. Then you need computer,boost controller and all the other things that go to making safe power. Most of all ,as everyone has stated...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  9. Think about it this way..... You are gaining a life long friend once you have finished the job. Wifes will come and go ...like girlfriends.....but gtr's r forever...lol
  10. The best ones are the genuine Nissan items. I have a set...2...supplied to me at $25each ...Did not use them cause the mechanic said they would not last. Ring up Nissan...or get a mechanic to buy them for you...this is the cheapest way. Hope I have been of some help.
  11. 11's 317 ET no problems..... 10's especially mid tens...Drag race...reaction times and all....370+kws... 10's ...low type ET....400kws....and you better hold on tight...

  13. NO NO NO.....Mid 11's with slicks great lauch no wheel-spin. Will only be a 10s if you push 400rwkw+ So need more power and be able to put it to the ground to get 10's.(NITROUS MAYBE)

  18. Pay some-one else to do it...If your not a mechanic... Cost approx...$500 to $600.Engine in..."don't make them take it out cause their lazy." This will cost another $500 The extras such as new copper washers/bolts/gaskets/oil and water lines"if needed" can cost though. Great explanation / DIY Turbo replacement for a GTR..
  19. Racing some one down the 1/4 Mile lights and all 250kws ATW. Racing yourself ie..ET 1/4 Mile 200 to 220kws...as stated no reaction time to consider... I correct myself.. Look at the sticky threads times and power ATW's ..although this will not indicate the set up Suspension...Tune....Tyres...Temperature at the track...Fuel they run...etc..etc...can be mis-leading.

  21. I thought the question was related to a drag strip....lights and all...so 20s reaction time sounded funny. Traction is important...and getting power to the ground even more important....to be able run say 3 to 4 high 12's in a row (Between say 12.6 to 12.9) would require a great driver at 200kw's. And to run with a 250kw would require a moderate driver...

  23. Hello, There are plenty of Exhaust shops that will build something special for you...either in S/S or Standard steel. The problem is the noise level once you add a hot dog at the end. If you are after quite with lots of air flow you need to look at the imported ones. Do a search and you will find them
  24. The answer is in your question....not much you can do once they start taking snap shots. Get a piece of canvas( fire proof) the exact size of your Engine Bay and paint a Kia Rio Engine bay on it. More than likely the police officer will burst out into laughter and let you off.
