  7. Either a Carbon-fibre or good condition Aluminium Bonnet $1000 is about the right price. You may be able to call Nissan....seeing they have the R32 Parts in stock.... Hope I have been of some help.
  8. Just a note.......don't get larger than 275 width tyres...cause with mine I had to do some cutting. The tyres were rubbing on full lock....and it was only one side.....might have been hit before and not correctly alligned but yeah...my 2c worth.

  10. I am thinking...thinking...thinking.....Wiper/blade eject switch...auto relacement button. But might be to obvious,,,so I will go rear wiper switch. But don't take my answer as being correct...could be anything...lol
  11. 0-100km in 5.5 seconds..........beats all the XR6 Turbos, FPV or not,GTS 6L super-charged and not to mention a few of our skylines down the quarter. Weight has nothing to do with it........power to weigh has. Next time one is passing you...make sure you get a lookat it
  12. ...not to offend though...lol Porsche has been saved by quick thinking executives. The Cayenne is a great car...4WD...and if I could afford it my no.1 pick. Their is no other performance suv on the market that can hold up to it.
  13. Without the Cayenne porsche would have had to sell up to GM,FORD,OR CHRYSLER. The Numbers and overheads Porsche have could not have supported a race car only. They needed to build something for the American Market..(For the Family Market) to survive. This is why the sales reps. who give the shit talk about the car....although they hate to admit it is a monster. So every-one thank the Cayenne for the continued support of the true sport car...911 Turbo. If the company got in the hand of a Giant they would have had things forced on them to keep the car costs down and slow or even stop(200SX) development.......look at Jaguar,Nissan and the troubles they have of building a sports car today.... Renault has slowed down the GTR's development as soon as it took over the company......other manufactures will bring out faster cars before it is launched...

  15. Have you driven a worked GTR34......tuned for fun.... I am sure not one of the Porsches....except 911 turbo will keep up with it. My friend owns a 997...NA and he is looking at upgrading to a Ferrari... My car is 500kw's(4WD) at the motor and can deliver to the ground....... I know what your going on about....not ignorant.....just the point...When push comes to shove 4WD turbo's win hands down.
  16. Cam gear Bolts and bearings...replace just incase .Make sure you have the H8 type bolt. I think thats the code they go by.
  17. I thought the -5's are the same as the 2530.....maybe they are the old type ......or they have been modified. Find out why this happened then replace them both......... The Replacement Turbo's (-5)should only cost you 2500 for the pair... Who is selling one for 2300? Anyway good luck with your choice.

  19. Most of the comments incouraging you are frrom gt-st or gt-tt owners. I drive a gtr so really it depends on what power you are use to. If you love the look and the way it drives....go for it.. But for me it is only 911 turbo that will make me happy.Unless I can't afford one...then GTR34 . SO MUCH RE-FINEMENT compared to theGTR33..... Anyway good luck with your choice.
  20. The calculation is worked out on the RPM using the following method. Power of car x(by) 3/4 =RPM of test. I think by memory also.....no turbo rotary(RX) can pass the test because RPM of there test is like at 7000

Sorry....lots of questions......but i solved my Nephews car problem this week by adding some injector cleaner into his fuel tank and changing his plugs.M ight have been the injectors clogging up. He also had your symptoms except the car would die...but half an hour latter you could start it up again and drive around. It looks like you have an ignition problem ......which is fuel- spark related. Hope I have been of some help. Cheers
  22. AFM's need clean and re-soldering...... If they are good...check your throttle cable.(TPS) If that is good.....check your fuel pressure.....(Could be your fuel pump or fuel filter(dirty) If all of the above fail....more than likely they have incorrectly spaced your plugs . Or more than likely...put the wrong ones in...what are your mods? ??????When is the last time you have had it tuned? Does any lights come on when this is all happening? You can try re-setting your computer.......this is off-course if it is stock

Darren, If your question is only related to High end KW's the Poncams will not get you there.These are designed for road...so responce and Kw's are higher through your rev range and really does not peek 50kws at top end. If you are only after a 1/4 Mile car....HKS step2 type cams with heavier springs , retainers and higher lift is what you should look at....oh you need a thicker head gasket aswell. These Cams will give you up to 50+Kw's at the higher revs...but will be a dog to drive around with . Hope I have been of some help. Cheers Tekin
