Looks like my next car is going to be a R34GTR.........the new bitch has nothing I can play with and she is fatter than a Monaro . Give me thin ,trim and a killing machine anytime.

So........who is going to put a GTR35 next to a Tiida in a showroom? Still think their having us on.....we are never going to be able to purchase one out of Nissan in Australia. We have such small numbers to move and we are such a large Country, the logistics don't pay. I mean what are they going to do with the second hand Jap.ones they have to sell after 5 to 7 years . I am waiting for an old Japanese executive to drive mine around for 5 years, breaking in the motor nicely and Nissan to have addressed all the teething problems with it during this time. Then I will buy it at Auction and land it in Australia for around $50K........2013(So what I have a gtr now) So anyone still looking at buying one for 200K and having to sell it after 5 years for 50K ...

I love my maxima 93, but the new one is really a big piece of soft sponge that has heaps of f$%ked up torque that has no way of putting it to the ground. Had one in Queensland up in the mountains for 2 days.......it scared me. Suspension took off the ground on some parts and there was hardly any feel in the steering wheel...thought I was gone a few times in some places......... The last car Nissan ever designed (without the help of Renault) for Australia was the XTrail .The best thing ...beside the gtr32 they have ever bought into this country,and I am afraid the last decent car we will see from them for a long time. Just my 2c worth

Don't waste your time............its either 911 turbo or nothing . Aim at 100K and your good for 996 style....... A Honda 2000 or Bmw m3 both which are convertables are a better car dude.Thurther more....you can have a track day with them and not be disappointed.

3"cat ,1 foot resinator ....mid muffler and hot dog 95dba. Had to get a new muffler and swapped it for the hot dog then it was 90dba at 5300RPM(RB26). The test is flawed because the Muffler joint that tested it with the new Muffler,(which dropped the size to 1.5 inch.)told me at 3800 RPM he had me at 97dba .So much for the EPA really not knowing shit about imports.

GTRS have a larger lag than the 2530's. You also cannot run two different turbo's ....so if you are looking to replace the one .....you have no choice but to buy a single 2530 or -5 in Garret as they go by.

Why go to that extent...... Buy a GTR Badge....put your RB26Dett in...buy a large FMIC and pods with a gt-ss turbo set up, have the Turbo's set at 1 Bar....using actuators....get a good tune and WALLLAAAAAH. GTR officer......

Rotaries are fun aren't they? I think by memory....no rotary will pass epa in Vic without serious de-tuning. Anyway.......... 110db at 6700rpm. At least that's what the EPA wrote down on inspection

Places that give out R/W/C want to keep their license......none give out dodgy ones anymore. As for the car you are thinking of buying....don,t let your heart get in the way of your pocket. Get it checked out ...with a compression test aswell. If it checks out....then negotiate. Leave a deposit and write on a letter , stating purchased on subject to inspection. Cheers

5K to 10K .....always change the filter although some say do it every 2'nd time. I suppose if you ran it on the track for one day you would just change the oil

The fix for you...did this last week on my Maxima. Wet some soap untill it becomes like Jelly then apply to the belt. PRESTO......no noise. Cheers

Would it not be cheaper to sell yours to a P Plater and buy a Turbo? Your looking at around $3500 for part and maybe $3000 to fit it up with tune . And you are unsure if the set up is going to work well Just my 2c Edited:Sorry, did not see a reply similar earlier.......me bad

Good thinking there...except it does not have to be on the tyre all the time ......just when you open the door. Maybe a pulley type ...simple set up that operates on a wire connected to a rubber? Maybe to much over-kill..... STILL LOOKING. If we come up with an idea...we will patent it and make lots of money
