If I could wire up a motec system and get a good tuner that knows the motec system , I would most likely head that way......PFC in a group buy costs around $950... Motec on the other hand can cost 3 to 4 times this amount. It is easy to install and has a step to step procedure(Thanks to Paul) on this Forum to allow anyone to get the thing running and onto a dyno..... Sure it is not the best computer on the market......and yes you have some limits on the PFC. BUT.....it is bang for bucks.And a mod. heads dream to get this type of performance for less than a set of tyres. Back to your question.......if you are building a track car only go...Motec. If you drive it day to day....PFC.

Have you looked under the bonnet to see if you had left your watch in there? Or maybe a mad bomber has left his package in there? Now seriously, could be your bearing on your timing belt........get it checked. When is the last time your timing belt was changed?And did they also change the bearings? This can be a fatal problem(Engine...not you and the Bomb) It can also be your lifters...in this case,don't worry...

Hello all.......... After the ,what song you would loose your license to? I have a new one for you........as Topic suggests. Name the road ,you are most likely going to loose your license on? I will start with the ramp on the Western-ring Road headed out of town from Greenbourough. This is the new Bridge that goes out to Cooper Street. The bridge which goes over the Road is an 80KM Zone .I have not seen any-one doing that. So post , STREET? AREA? WHICH DIRECTION YOU ARE TRAVELLING IN? SPEED INDICATED ON ROAD? Please do not post times and cars your driving ...just in case

I would like to share this mod. with all you petrol heads. After PFC installation and Splitfire coils I have been having some miss-firing problems. Looked in the Forced induction threads and found the same issue alot of people are having. My coil-pack cover is off and the ignitor pack does not tie to anything.(Thus no earth) I fixed one point to the cover fixing hole and fixed another point with a cable connecting another two points on the ignitor. Car did not miss tonight.....it runs alot smoother than before. I have included a shot for every-one to see. The Ignitor is secure and has no woble due to the thicker cable i have used for the other two points. Which, as you can see ,makes me very happy. COST OF MODE ......NOTHING.....AND THIS IS PRICELESS

OK Then....here is a quick mod. I have completed today to see if it stops the missing. One fixed point........the other a cable tieing up 2 other points and fixing to another point. The wire is thick on the second....and no movement at all. So far tonight had no missing.......infact car is running smoother. If it happens again...I will replace tps.

Its like a curse., F%$K Y&^...noticed it the last couple of days on low RPM cruising along. Why did I look for it.?????...could have had the stereo vibrating the car and would have never noticed. My cover is off ,,,I have a PFC, Splitfire coils and the ignitor pack is not attached to anything. Some-one please post up a quick fix with some wiring info......I have nowhere to fix it to. If you don't I will put a Hex on all your cars

Does oil stay in the cooler.......I wonder. I am sure you also need to drain the oil from the cooler for a complete job. Anyway use the dip-stik to be safe...a little over is fine.....

Super-Cheap has it for $27...Cheapest I could find. Have not cleaned them yet. Mechanic said use de-greaser and then wait to dry after you wash it. After it is dry use crc. For 27 Dollars I bought the real thing....
