  1. haha cant flatshift man syncros are on there way out to 8 test n tunes will do that nismoid, that i mite try, u mean just take off the vacum line and see how fast it builds boost hmmm i think link is set 21psi boost cut so should be fine
  2. hey guys i need some advice on my setup currently here are the mods completey stock rb25 motor hypergear GT3582 turbo anti surged slotted 50mm external wastegate 740cc injectors Link G1 ecu walbro intank pump stock fuel regulator splitfire coilpacks now with the turbo exhaust side i re used my kkr .69 housing which has been modified to suit 50mm gate off it. I got the car tuned 2 weeks ago and made 400atw on 1.3 bar boost The dumpipe currently on the car is a 2.75" vband cast iron thing u get from otomoto which then connects to 3" front pipe thru to gutted cat and 3" xforce canon What i wanna know is basically the car is very laggy, im not seeing 1.3 bar boost until 5000-5500rpm, even between gear changes it will lagg if i dont slam gears to build boost back up. Could i do something to bring this on harder/sooner? bigger dumpipe? adjustable exh cam gear? any advice would be great thanks guys.
  3. Ive since upgraded to GT3582 turbo and i pulled my KKR480 turbo off the turbo is setup to run external gate so just bolt onto highmount manifold and your external gate away ya go. Its t3 flange, water and oil cooled. Turbo made 350hp @ 18-20psi and run 115mph at willowbank as an indication turbo has seen about 30,000kms no shaft play didnt blow smoke and only run on 18psi for about 2yrs im chasing $400 + $25 post aus wide.

  5. Bump need this gone guys. Comes with rb25 adapter to bolt onto stock position also comes with plumback fitting aswell.

  7. haha out dated lol. yeh im in same dilemma turbo comes on slower then expected im running 1bar spring running 1.4bar boost seems 2 build slow.. im running no boost controller though im just tightening the allen key screw on top of wastegate to hold it closed longer any idea if the length of the vacum line can cause the slower boost building?

  10. each to their own hey im using one its proven and it works so i dont see the point in spending extra $ im not goin to not buy one because a bunch of guys on here jump on the band wagon because 1 failed bosch tomei nismo can fail 2 you know. not everything is flawless.

Fuel pump has been on the car now nearly 2yrs at 250rwkw now its at 300rwkw no problems at all. its wired in to run the full voltage. also a mates 32 is running same pump same setup with over 400rwhp for last 3yrs no dramas. guess u guys just like your big brand names and like spending over your budget even though its not needed
  12. Im just wondering what part of walbro is ass mate? Im making 400rwhp and my walbro is perfect.. please explain why everyone on here jumps on the band wagon and says there crap, im just really curious?
  13. yeh rotate the housings to suit your existing cooler piping and your oil/water lines, then get your dumpipe modified which would be no more then $100-150 cause its f*k all work involved in it.

  15. I fitted a GT3582 last week and got a 10mm spacer laser cut up for $5 at any laser cutting joint, just give them ur turbo gasket as template unless ofcourse u would be dumb enough to go purchase one thru mtq or gcg and get ripped blind. just a heads up.

  17. mount the wastegate straight off the exhaust housing.
  18. Car hit the dyno last nite pushed 396.5rwhp @ 18psi this is on a very safe tune as motor is dead stock
  19. i wouldnt bother putting in platinum plugs either. waste of money and time. NGK BK7RE is what i would put in.

  23. new gt3582 turbo is fitted up low mounted on stock exhaust manifold pulled all my hair out i think but finally got there.. ext gate is set to .5 bar until tune on 20th turbo has a very loud whistle from the surge slots similar to hks to4z and t51r sounds nice lets just hope it produces some decent power
