i got a friend who has one of these t70 turbo's off ebay..its making around 293rwkw @ 18psi,bit of a lagg monster but once it comes it comes on HARD..has been for last 5months..never missed a beat..i dont understand how u guys break them so easily?

I bolted up a $900 slide hiflow about 3 weeks ago..aaron modified my oil line for free all i had to do was spend $9 in express post to get it to him..i then bolted the turbo all up..re used all my old gaskets as they were stainless ones...fair from $300 worth but anyway..i would love to see the difference between the two and as for the guy who said when he wants his car on the road the next day, me and you both know NOTHIN ever goes as planned sometimes even 1 bolt can set you back a day because its past 5pm and the shops r closed but yeh...anyways !

ive also delt with slide and his service is quality my turbo took around 2 weeks to get to me only because there was a big shortage in cartridges and wheels! my turbo has done about 1000kms now and it runs like a dream! couldnt recommend him any higher his work is great. Just send him a pm and wait for him to reply he will surely work something out for you.

so you have 240rwkw with stock injectors just a adjustable fuel regulator and a bigger fuel pump? im also wanting to know what is the best road to take towards injectors? ive got cooler/exhaust/sliding hiflow/splitfires..soon to bolt in z32 afm and powerfc then get a tune on 15psi...my mechanic here can hiflow my injectors for $150..i dunno what to do?

im guessing the ends of the plugs would have burnt up long before they reached anywhere near the turbo wheels...?

sounds like z32 is the way to go as im not planning on opening up the rb25 anytime soon and i could only dream about having 300rwkw plenty for the street..where abouts can i look at buying a brand new z32 afm from ?

so what do u recommend as a upgrade? im thinkin with the new hiflow now and once it gets tuned on 14psi im gona be pushing 230-250rwkw...well i hope..q45? z32? should i just get microtech and ditch the bloody afm all together..

yeah well i had mine on the dyno and in shootout mode it made 208rwkw@12psi so i dunno

im wanting to know the same question my mods are front mount 3" dump full 3" exhaust stage3 hiflow from sliding walbro intank pump powerfc splitfire coils i want to get it tuned on 14psi should i upgrade injectors and afm ?

thats probably the main reason i changed mine as mine are in 1993 r33 and are gettin old and would only cause the miss fire after they heat up!

well would stock coils handle 250rwkw i wasn't sure if they would so thats why i wanted to upgrade the coils its only $600

i will bring a old thread up as i dont want to start another thread on splitfires etc my problem is that my r33 miss fires from around 4800? thru to 7000rpm im guessing as the vct kicks in it starts miss firing mods are stage3 slidingperformance hiflow intercooler 3" from turbo no cat walbro fuel pump now ive only had the hiflow for about 3 days now,and since bolting it on it miss fires on all boost settings including stock 7psi, before with stock turbo it would only do it anything above 7psi so i could run stock 7psi wen it would carry on and could rev it cleanly... i was using .8 gap on my plugs so yesterday i explored and regapped the plugs to .6 they are a ngk plug heat range 7...now this has fixed all my miss fire problems runs like a dream on 7 thru to 13psi now if since i regapped to .6 it fixed my miss wat was the weak link before that? coils? stock ecu? ive ordered splitfires thru sliding they sould be here within the week,im not fussed if they were my problem but i wanted to get them anyway b4 powerfc so ive got it all sorted b4 it goes for a tune..so have any of u guys got a clue as to why .6 gap runs perfect and .8 gap onwards it misses terribly. sydneykid give me some info! u seem 2 be the man around here lol Justin
